The ad is alright, but it also reminded me of how badly ps1 graphics aged.

@naruball see, I was the opposite... having played some recently I thought they looked a bit poo at that time. The stuff in the advert was cleaned up a bit though getting rid of the infamous jaggies. I cancelled me pre order recently because reasons, kinda regretting it now.

PlayStation has the best ads, there's no question about that. Still don't think this product is as good as what Nintendo delivered with NES and SNES but for those who get one, hope they enjoy it.

@naruball yes, and some day we will say the same thing about ps4's graphics...We're gonna say "red dead redemption 2 is so ugly" hahaha

@JoeBlogs I think it was the impressions of the dash and presentation being a bit bare bones that did me in... plus I already own most of the games. It was for collecting purposes mostly. Who knows, I may snag one with some Chrimbo moolah.

you remember when you were a kid, and you looked at those graphics, and you said "wow, this is amazing, so real"?
Well, technology is always advancing more and more, and in 20-30 years in the future, today's graphics will be pretty ugly. At least that's what I think... I can be wrong

@paulo_godoy_BR I do, but I don't think it works that way in this particular case.

For example, remember when the ps3 came out and 'everyone' was blown away by its graphics, but then the ps4 was released and most people weren't as impressed? There won't be a jump as large as the one from ps2 to ps3 again (let's not forget diminishing returns). It's been over 10 years and ps3 games still look good. In 2007, games that came out in 1997 didn't look good.

Sad by somehow who's never woken up T-Day morning to a frozen turkey he has to cook in a few hours for 18 people. I was literally holding the turkey next to the garbage pail getting ready to throw it in and make pasta. Fortunately the convection oven came through and 4 1/ 2 hours later it was cooked but I hated the site of turkey all day.

@rjejr i just really dont like turkey, too dry. Give me a nice spiral ham over a turkey any day. 😉

maybe it will never get very ugly, but it will be funny to see the graphics of ps4 being dated

@ellsworth004 My wife doesn't like ham, it's killing me. I usually make a nice spiral ham for Christmas Eve but we're doing dinner at my sisters this year, probably Wo Hop. Only New Yorkers and NYC tourists know what that is, but you can probably figure it out.
