I’m getting the disc version of PS5 to avoid paying $70/€80 for a new game.

It’s clear that he wanted the PS5 to look big in these renders.

The pic where the PS5 is falling off the shelf because it can’t fit in there, is just trolling.

The Xbox X wouldn’t fit either.

Love the design, happy it comes in white so it matches my setup right away.

It could’ve been a bit smaller ngl. but I’ll make space for it.

I’ll play the A.W.E dlc on my PS4 now and get The Witcher to play on the PS5 later.

My body is ready, my wallet; not so much...

I would be spray painting it white, if it came as a black brick, like I’ve done with the last PS consoles.

But more options and easy user customisations would be a big plus!

I was blown away, I loved it as soon as I saw it.

Sony did something really brave and gutsy, and I think they will benefit from that decision in the long run.

I see mostly positive comments and remarks, the memes and negativity like comment #2 is likely from people that had already decided what ‘camp’ they were in.

No loading screens/instant startup of games will almost be worth the upgrade alone.

SOMA was such a different gaming experience, loved it.
Looking forward to this, can only be good.

I actually held off from buying SotC a few times, because I suspected it could come as a free PS+ game.. So, I'm happy to get it for free now.

It's good, but.. There's too much of the same repetitive gameplay going on before you get a new piece of the story told.

Going to keep on keeping on, I think it's a game you need to play through before being able to give a final score.

PES is so bad, and I'm comparing it to one of the worst ever FIFA's - FIFA 19.

I'm happy to be able to replay Detroit Become Human, and try out alternative decisions and endings.

I see a bit of Jonny Mnemonic inspiration in the game, the laser whip and Keanu Reeves - cool!

It's ok, but gets repetitive fast.

Played it for a few hours with my friend online, it's the same over and over. So we switched between multiplayer and co-op to mix it up just a bit.

We are approaching an ever more likely PS5 release and I think the amount of people actually subscribing to PS+ because they want free PS3 games is very small, Sony probably want to start focusing on the PS4 and then include the PS5 in the service.

Glad this came for free with Playstation +
it was a good ´intermission´ from playing Fifa 19 Rivals and Fut Champs.

I actually liked the parts where you had to evade the monsters, the sound effects and visual distortions made me stress out at moments, It's good that the whole game is not like outlast but has the story and puzzles in between.

The story raises an interesting question and I felt like it ended too fast.

Too expensive for what you're getting, if it was cheaper then maybe, maybe for my kids room.

Got this game very cheap, used some loyalty points at the site I usually buy at, so won't be losing too much on trying it out.
Only just played an hour or two, graphics are great and it feel pretty fluid and running is fast, something I like when the game is one BIG openworld sandbox game.

Bought it on Black Friday along with Resident Evil 7 and Uncharted Lost Legacy, just started playing it.

It's pretty good so far, the puzzles could be a bit better though.

I think they don't offer that much variety in concole colours, black only for the first year after launch is boring.

Which is why I've spray painted my consoles white myself.

Not a big fan of special edition versions of dualshocks or playstation in general.

This one is no exception, I liked the 20y anniversary edition PS4 though.

I wanted the Vita to be good, I'd buy one if the controls were different.

The ideal design would be a dualshock setup with triggers and clickable thumb sticks with a screen in the middle, that way owners of a PS3/4 don't have to learn a new way of playing, and remember new button placements and way of use.

I love white consoles, I've painted my PS4 Pro white, because it matches with the rest of my home cinema setup, regarding if it keeps looking clean or fresh after a couple of months; for me it does, I also painted my PS3 and it looks the same after a few years.

Actually you'll see dust on a black console easier than on a white one.

@Starman292 They are supposedly better build quality, 7.1 surround + 3D audio and 50mm drivers vs 40mm in the Gold headset.

I'm on my second pair of Gold's, had to glue the hinges so they don't fold and unfold all the time and break.

Build quality is not up to Sony standards Imo.

Can't find it by searching for it, and it's not in the 'Free to play' area (EU store).

Just got the Platinum on it last night.

I was hooked from the moment I got it, great visuals and effects, well written story and a not too hard platinum trophy, makes this a must.

Looking forward to see what the rating is going to turn out to be.

I see this rumoured PS4K as something Sony needs to do, if they want to be successful with their whole Virtual Reality gamble, and also for them to be able to have other 4K apps/services + 4K Blu Ray.

I think it's not for better gaming and graphics, but purely because when they developed the PS4, they didn't expect the VR craze to get serious so fast, so now they're scrambling to be able to be in the race.

I have a feeling that all this VR malarkey will turn out to be another '3D TV' or 'PS Move' thing.

But I hope I'm wrong.

I do think many are far too quick to cry and ask for 'free stuff', after a few hours of downtime, people were writing on sony's announcement that they wanted free games, and their subscription prolonged.
Like you say, the service has been much better and almost always rock solid, so they've definitely stepped up their game on that part.
But garding yourself against hackers like lizzardsquad et al, is almost impossible.

The Witcher 3 brings together a lot of what I like in games, great graphics, humour, well written story and freedom to play the game your way and customize your character.

Fallout was great too, but the graphics weren't all that good and it felt a bit too repetitive in the end.

Could the writers of such news as these, please provide us with a link in the future?

Suspend/Resume that's one of the most important features...

I (almost) never buy digital games, first because they're priced insanely high, second because I run through games pretty quick and sell them again right after, minimizing the actual amount of $€£ I spend on the game.

Only times I buy digital is if it is indeed cheaper than retail or if it's a digital only game.

Oh and loading times for challenges can be a P.I.T.A!
I've waiting for more than 5 minutes now, and it's not even loaded 25%

Selling it in a day or two, too many other good games to play.

I've been playing it for a day or two now and overall I feel like it's a bit too repetitive, no real story to speak of.

The gameplay reminds me a lot of Infamous Second Son.
