Sony's offered some pretty decent deals in Europe this year, and its 'Buy One PlayStation 4 Game, Get One Free' promotion sounds like its best yet. Available with the voucher code J7P8G8P3DH, you'll be able to purchase two selected titles for the price of one from the PlayStation Store through until 24th December – but sadly the base prices aren't great.
Eligible games include The Order: 1886, Until Dawn, and The Last of Us Remastered – but we'll leave you to browse through the full list below. Best of all, you'll be able to re-use the aforementioned code as many times as you like, so there's some real savings to be made here – even if you could get most of the games cheaper from a retail store. Simply add two of the selected titles to your basket, and then enter the code at the checkout. Easy!
So, then, will you be using this deal to pad out your PS4 library this holiday? Cough up in the comments section below.

Wanted Until dawn and zombie trillogy. Both games in retail cost less than they are offering.. Great job Sony:/
Bad prices! I wanted a couple of them but no way I am going to buy with those prices.
It's not terrible when you factor in the discount code, but yes, as is often the case, you can get most of these cheaper from a retail store.
@get2sammyb What's this about a discount code Sammy.
I (almost) never buy digital games, first because they're priced insanely high, second because I run through games pretty quick and sell them again right after, minimizing the actual amount of $€£ I spend on the game.
Only times I buy digital is if it is indeed cheaper than retail or if it's a digital only game.
@stevie85
J7P8G8P3DH Discount code
@Sanquine Thanks. How big a discount. 10% I assume ?
@stevie85
I believe the discount code above is to enable the "Buy one get one free" offer. I doubt you'll be able to use further discount codes on top of the BOGOF offer.
But I agree with most of the above, the games are far too expensive for me to use this, I'll just use Amazon and have them delivered to me. So, just like digital, I won't have to leave the house!
@stevie85 Add any of the two above listed games to your basket. Enter the voucher code at checkout. You'll get 50% off.
The order was $10 on US store on sale (thats about £6.50). I wish Sony was more like Microsoft in this respect, one rule for the different regions not this variation in promotions... Its 2015 ffs and we're talking digital. .
This is hilarious. A sale in disguise... (i.e not a sale)
Sony: "Great deal! Get 50% off after we increase prices 100%"
FFS it's insulting.
It's only a good deal if you were to buy say until dawn as that's the only game in the list that was over 45 quid before this deal appeared. The last of us has been 19.99 for months now. Stop treating us like idiots Sony lol
Its not bad actually if you are a new ps4 owner(especially if the offer runs through Christmas) or if like us you have two ps4's in the house and you are sharing
Someone clearly hit the sauce hard at at this years psn christmas doo and increased the price of all the sale items by accident. I assume the prices will go back to normal after everyone gets back from thier Christmas break.
Lol, the prices are gas!
Didn't Until Dawn, The Order and TLOU get a retail pricecut recently? The RRP has gone down to €30 I believe, which means most retailers started selling below that price; I picked up Until Dawn for €20 last week.
I bought until dawn for £22 in game new and watchdogs was £10 although I have already played that. The prices in the shops have gone down substantially in the last month since mid November. Loads of newer games sit in the £18-£25 bracket similar to last gen.
Y'all have very cheap retail prices in the UK.
Digital games are always over priced on the PS store. The smaller games are reasonably priced just not the AAA digital titles. Also does not help that Black Friday has come and gone and everyone will be comparing the prices from then to the offers now. Not that it is relevant to this article but gmes seem to come down in price much quicker now than over the last few years. There have been good games that were selling for full price only 2 or 3 months ago and now you can get offers with them being half that price. ie MGS V, Until Dawn etc
My first perusal of that list made we once again glad that I i don't own a PS4 yet. Then I realized Until Dawn and TLoU Remastered were just there to throw me off the scent.
If they wan't to have a B1G1 for the holidays - like most retailers in the US do sometime around the holdiays- Best Buy is B2G1 this week - theninclude ALL your games.
Just off the top of my head this list is missing Infamous, Knack and Bloodebourne. Blodebourne is almost year old and the other 2 are launch titles. So this is basically a list of overpriced games that nobody wants.
PS4 has been out for 2 years and Sony can't even have a game sale that makes me want to buy 1.
When I first saw this I thought that it would be a great offer.... but then taking a look it's one of the worse I've seen. The likes of Lego The Hobbit can be picked up from Amazon for around £9 yet on PSN it's going for £44.... Looks like I'll be going back to physical copies of games from now on.
It really depends on what you get. For instance I'm thinking of going divinity (absolutely amazing game, have it on pc as well) and farming simulator. So that would price out to be 30 each in the us, which is a savings of 25 or so based on other retailer prices. I might just wait and see what happens week 2/3 of the Xmas sales. But 60 for divinity (50 reg I think though) and farming simulator which hasn't gone on sale anywhere that I've been looking since launch isn't bad. Hell if I don't get it now, I'm still getting divinity for whatever price it is next month most likely
Did they jack up the prices before the sale? I could swear that's illegal
They should have had sale prices combined with the offer and they could have sold plenty bit at that price I can't see many takers
@hi_drnick Not sure if that's serious or sarcastic.
Standard UK RRP is about £55, which equates to about $83... not that great compared to your $60 price.
I was interested in this until I saw the prices. Some of the games have had a massive increase in price for this "offer". I've seen that one of the Lego games was previously less than £10, and now it's £44.99?
I was interested in Until Dawn and Zombie Army Trilogy. Until Dawn is £19.99 on Amazon. Zombie Army Trilogy is £22.99. I know the prices for the most part aren't set by Sony, but they and the publishers concerned have surely got to realise that this is becoming a bit of a running joke now. It's not doing any of them any favours.
This is Europe only, but nothing in that list that interests me and after reading your comments I really don't want anything. Didn't know they were so shady, and yes, I have seen pretty high prices in the store when compared to retail.
And here I wanted until dawn back. Guess I could proxy my location and change it to Europe lol.
That's right, they increased the prices of "old" games then announced a "special" offer. Also, physical games are much cheaper, I wonder when will Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo realise, it doesn't make any sense to sell digital games for a whopping price.
None of these are priced at 25$ new where I've in the US, making this a pretty decent deal. In fact most are still hovering near full price or at best the 45$ range.
@get2sammyb this is excellent for me! As games retail here are around 80 pounds a pop. Got 2 with this deal 😃 I regularly buy retail from UK but a deal like this is hard to ignore. 2 games for the price of half a game in my local shop.
Man I think the only thing I reaaaaaaaaaaally want for that price is Divinity Original Sin...and maybe I would pick up Until Dawn or The Order...or even UFC game I don't know :/
@Paranoimia actually I was being serious but maybe I should've clarified. I know RRPs in the UK are very high but the sales prices are not only low but games go on sale so quickly. Living in Japan, games are hardly ever discounted more than 10 - 15% and keep their value for ages.
@get2sammyb http://n4g.com/news/1834906/sony-temporarily-raises-digital-game-prices-ahead-of-launching-new-promotion-on-playstation-store
Prices raised before this launched:P
Total rubbish...avoid people and look to cheaper version in the retail market.
