Nice! Yet ANOTHER thing in Fortnite I don’t want to do.. Played this game and made a lot of online buddies for the first 4-5 years it was out.. I’ve dabbled in it on occasion since then.. I usually get a dub and get bored of it within a couple games.. but I haven’t even booted it up in almost a year I’d guess.. but yes, UNO is what I’ve been waiting for /s

Fortnite is doing too much these days.. catering to this TikTok gen (and doing it well I admit).. Kids who can’t keep their attention to something longer than 15sec..

Glad those who still love it are still having fun.. I really am.. back to single player RPGs..

I’m as expert as one can get without ever being able to beat Through the Fire and the Flames.. literally thousands of hours between every game.. my hype for this as a 36yo w 2 teenage kids has been through the roof since the rumors started..

Guess I’ll have to keep breaking out my 360.. it’s just.. by the time I get it out of the closet, dust it off, plug it up, and get my old usb to work.. I play like 2 songs and suddenly all of my desire to play is gone

@get2sammyb I’m 36 and RE scared the bejesus out of me when I was kid 💀 I had a window last year where I had nothing to play and the RE series was modernized and on sale in a package deal.. once I started 2 I didn’t stop until I was done with RE:8.. what a wild ride.. I’m preordered locked and loaded with 9.. and I don’t preorder anything anymore!!

I was hoping for a complete remaster of the originals.. my millennial eyes have moved on completely from the old style graphics.. I can’t even play Ocarina of Time (or TP/WW anymore) 😭

Was excited for the God of War 2D scroller as well until I saw the old outdated graphics.. I thought we were gonna get a Prince of Persia: Lost Crown style game and boy was I disappointed 😔

I heard a rumor a few months back that they’re working on an all new 3D AAA Rayman game so there’s still hope for the future as a Rayman fan

Was really hoping this would be as pretty as the Prince of Persia game.. was really looking forward to this announcement until I saw the art design.. I’m happy for those who can tolerate 1990s style art but I’ve been spoiled, unfortunately

@LogicStrikesAgain I mean.. Fortnite and Fall Guys kindve started out the gate with a cartoony art direction.. they never strayed from their OG releases with a completely different art direction.. this game looks nothing like OG Horizon.. we go from ‘Super Realistic Clouds’ to a copypasta of a little kids co-op..

Sony wasted their time and I just hope the GG studio doesn’t suffer from this DOA game and maybe Sony will have finally learned their lesson..

But who tf am I kidding.. the state of the gaming industry as a whole is weird af these days.. monopolizing everything, Gacha bs, Xbox essentially killing itself off, and amazing game studios being shuttered due to no fault of their own..

@Member_the_game Besides your Mario Kart statement, I agree 100%.. I’m very big on physical so I can resell it and put it towards a new game.. BUT GTA is GTA and I’ve gotten hundreds of hours in most of them (and I’ve only spent maybe an hour total on GTA:O since the 360).. I’ll be saving space on my Pro when I get it next month just for GTA

I’ll be adopting a shiny new PS5 Pro within the month.. just gotta wait for my taxes in Feb so I can pair it with a new Samsung OLED C4!!.. We have 2 teens so altogether we usually get around $7k-$8k every tax season.. the wife’s already green lit it and I’m so pumped.. it’s gotta look better than my Samsung QLED! Right??? 🤞 🙏

I have 60 hours in this so far without having to replay any levels.. I’m just on edge because id LOVE a Christmas level before Christmas.. this game is so relaxing and better than the first in every way (loved part 1 as well)

@Boxmonkey I was gonna buy a Switch 2 at launch until the ‘Main Showcase’.. was disheartened that most of the games they showed us were old AAA 3rd party games that I’ve already played.. why would I want to play them again, but on an inferior console.. don’t get me wrong I’m a huge fan of NINTENDOS IPs.. but I’ll wait until there are a bunch of good first party games.. As I’m sure a lot of us will.. and I’m looking so forward to a new big beautiful Mario/Zelda on their souped up Switch.. Switch 2 will definitely catch up in time

I’m the odd one out here.. love fishing games and creepy games.. but can’t get past the dated look.. I know it’s the esthetic they intended but it’s 2025/2026 and at 36 my brain won’t let me accept these graphics regardless of gameplay..

BUT it does look intriguing and I hope those who aren’t dumb like me will enjoy it.. I’ve just been spoiled over the years I guess

I’d even be down for some optional DLC purchases.. but nooooooo 😔

Death Stranding 2 was what I voted on.. But I’m 🥜 deep in Yotei right now and it’s so much fun.. way better than AC: Shadows.. it’s gonna be interesting for sure

lol I just came out of Death Stranding 2 where every mountain is scalable.. I think my expectations were too high cuz of that if I’m being honest..

But I’m level 17 so far with 19hrs in.. it’s been so long since I’ve played BL 2 & 3 that I’m getting frustrated with all the different types of weapons and which ones I should be choosing.. that mixed with all the QoL upgrades needed is getting frustrating.. I’m 100% gonna pick it back up maybe even this weekend but it’s all kind of dampening my experience, unfortunately

Other than the memory leak issue, my biggest gripe is the UI.. other gripes consist of the whole money system being pointless cuz the vending machines are worthless, mountains I can’t scale, and the pathfinder is complete garbage (among other things)

I just came off of getting the platinum for Death Stranding 2 last weekend and this game is such a letdown comparatively speaking.. not to mention this cocky Randy dude running his mouth like this is the best game in the world..

Think I’m done with this game until they fix this crap

I didn’t beat the first one because I was put off by side scrollers.. but something changed when I played the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.. I platinumed it I had so much fun.. then I got 100% on both Ori games.. now I’m gonna buy this game before I even restart the original one because I support any company putting out a hyped game for only $20.. Team Cherry is goated for this for real!!

Day 1 for me.. I love me a good ol fashioned looter shooter.. beat the first game twice (with a few years between plays).. walked away happy both times.. can’t WAIT for this game.. my only gripe is that it won’t be here for when Im done platinuming Death Stranding 2 by this time next week 😞

I had so much fun with this game the first few hours until my settlers or whatever started dying and pooping everywhere and I got so overwhelmed that I had to put it down.. many people dig that aspect and love the game regardless.. I’m glad people are getting more content and I’m just a miserable jealous loser who can’t appreciate this bada$$ beautiful game for what it is 😢

I wasn’t impressed with the cutscene animations.. their mouths didn’t really match up with the voices and kinda takes me out of it.. still excited for this game and a day one purchase for me as I’ve loved all the REmakes, 6, and 7 this year.. gameplay is 100% all that truly matters

It took me 3 different tries over multiple years to get into this game.. but once it clicked I was hooked and ended up getting the Platinum for it.. luckily Death Stranding 2 had already been out a month and I bought physical.. everything is 10x better than DS1 and the graphics are probably the best I’ve ever seen in a game and I’m on base PS5.. not gonna spoil anything but the cutscenes are very top notch and entertaining.. but I wouldn’t touch it if you haven’t beat the first one

I’ve also had a crush on one of the newer ladies in the game for years
