The Blood of Dawnwalker is probably the most anticipated RPG coming to PS5 right now, and with its 3rd September release date fast approaching, it's time for developer Rebel Wolves to orchestrate one last marketing push.

To be fair, the studio's already marketed the hell out of Dawnwalker in partnership with publisher Bandai Namco up until this point — but if you're still not quite sold on the game, I'd recommend giving this overview video a watch.

This is one of those lengthy trailers that crams all of the game's key details together. It covers the overarching story, player choice, combat, character progression, and open world design.

Again, well worth a watch — especially if you haven't been keeping up with the project as a whole.

Based on the included footage, Dawnwalker's come a long way in terms of presentation. A lot of the jank that was apparent in older demonstrations has been ironed out, although we'll obviously need to see more uncut gameplay — ideally on PS5 — before jumping to any concrete conclusions.

Still, I think Dawnwalker's always had potential, and that potential's abundantly clear here. If it can nail the focus on player choice, and the consequences of such, then this could be the next big RPG.
