Same here. If any of these games drops to €/$5 and I'd want to play them, then I'll buy them. Not likely. PS+ Extra and Premium are not worth it.

PSVR2 is enticing, but it's price is just too high for a VR noob like me to "give it a try".

The technology is good. But the number of games that are able to push the sale of the PSVR2 is just too small. And the price is too high for most people. For me personally, I want keyboard and mouse support for the games that I play in first person, so that's not gonna be on PS5.

I play my Nintendo Switch docked only. A "PS Vita 2" doesn't interest me. I much rather have PS5 games that fully utilize the hardware.

A decent selection I guess. Just not for me. I'm not renewing my Premium subscription, that's for sure.

I love Journey and Abzu, so I'm sure I'll love Sword of the Sea too.

When you hear "World Premier" and you get a trailer of a crappy mobile game. And after that a couples of times more with a super niche indie or AA game, or the first look of a new season pass for an online shooter. Yeah, you start to cringe a bit every time you hear that announcement.

But, what am I complaining about... I watch the awards a day later and skip through all of nonsense and the trailers that don't interest me.

I don't doubt that it will take a long time to get settled. A year or longer most likely. It could temporarily deter Sony from taking any actions (like raising consumer prices and commission fees for developers who sell in the PS Store) which could be deemed too aggressive by the preceding judge. I don't see any way how this lawsuit could be beneficial for Sony however.

Sony's success is also based on being extremely shrewd and aggressive. But this time it will be biting them in the behind. News came out yesterday that they're facing a $7.9 bln lawsuit over PS Store prices.

Reading comments that this actress is too pretty and petite to play Abby. I agree. But maybe it's deliberate. Back when TLoU2 came out, there was strong criticism about the portrayal of Abby as a very butch women. Maybe the show writers want to avoid that same criticism by recasting her character?

Or until the liquid metal starts to seep and short out. Or until a "pro" model gets released.

Same about getting that platinum trophy. It's the only one I've obtained and I don't care about getting it in other games. I know this one was well earned at least.

I did thoroughly enjoy Ragnarok, but maybe not as much as the first game. And I agree with @Legacy2K that Ragnarok suffers from bloat.

Playstation has always been more popular than Xbox in France.

I've been playing retro games on NSO. Mostly Wave Race 64. I love this game so much.

My closest backbone DNS is 50km (31 miles) from my house. With two local fiber optic relays in between. Each at about 1/3rd of the way there. The latency between my DNS and me is 4ms.

I have an absurdly highspeed, low latency internet connection. And I'm not impressed with Sony's streaming services. Frame drops and very noticeable input lag while streaming 720P PS3 games... Sorry, that's simply unacceptable.

Yes for dual protagonists. Male and female. NO for even more strong female only protagonist in games. Since gamergate it's become the norm and I'm tired of it. Like in more and more movies and series, where male characters are portrayed almost always negatively. They are "toxic", whips, simps, lazy, dumb or just deadbeats. And women characters are now the ones who have all of the traditionally male strengths.

Again, yes for dual protagonists, but just make it about the story and gameplay. Nothing else.

Reasonably priced. I might get this bundle. It's been a while since I've played these games on my Pentium II and Voodoo 2 PC

Crap. Bought Nier: Replicant on sale two/three moths ago. Oh well. Don't buy games until you're willing to play them right away. Lesson learned.

I'll gladly try 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Sid Meier’s Civilization VI though. Nice additions.

It's ugly, but that's just the way things are are the moment. Blame central banks, governments, special interest groups/lobbyists and large commodity brokers for the Western economic downturn, and not just Sony for upping their prices. As an almost exclusively SP only gamer, the likelihood of me renewing my Prime subscription for the "free games" after it expires is slim to none. And I know that I'm not alone. Sony could take this at heart, but I'm sure think that their investors don't care.

Haven't played and won't. But the results up until now aren't bad. I wonder how many of the people who voted 8 or 9 out of 10 are old school fans of the series and how many are new players.

How do they keep on updating this game without asking any more money? Sure, success keeps on selling, but still. This feels almost overgenerous.

I fully respect and understand the fans of the original AC gameplay format. As for me, I only started liking AC since Origin and Odyssey, but Valhalla truly went overboard... To the point of being boring. And many people agree with me. I probably won't be buying Mirage, but I'm hoping "AC: Red" will be more in the style of Origins and Odyssey. Although I don't think so, because ninja's are supposed to be discrete, and the protagonists of the latest three games weren't.

Gameplay and soundtrack were stellar. Story sucked.

Worst month of 2023 yet I guess. But I'm not bothered. Still have soooo much to play. Trek to Yomi seems okay though.

If the teaser and the couple of screenshots are something to go by, it won't be a "dirty 4K port". It is a classic indeed! But one that deserves a proper remake. I hope that this delay means that EA is taking this legacy IP seriously.

Not surprised about the file size. 100GB is HUGE, but becoming the standard. But for that (nearly uncompressed) file size and fast memory, the load times should be nearly instantaneous. On PS5 at least.

His likeness and voice can easily be recreated using AI. Especially at the rate with which AI is growing. By the time the next Horizon game gets made, AI will probably have enough to work with analyzing only about 10/15 minutes of Lance's spoken lines in HZD and HFW.

I do think that VR is here to stay. But for now it's as niche as 3D TV's were at the time. Slightly better quality but mostly lower prices are needed. I'm guessing another 3/4 years at most.

I loved Origins and Odyssey! I've played Valhalla (gold) and it was kind of crap. I think I'm done with AC for the next couple of years.

A lot of people have this "Follow Seyka into the Tower" bug, so I was hoping that this patch would have fixed it. But no. I've tried the possible fixes/workarounds, proposed on YT and Reddit. They aren't working for me.

Same here. Automatic download didn't work. I did it manually. Press the options button on the game tile and go to "Manage content".

8:53PM here in France and the pre-load of Burning Shores has not yet started on my console.

As long as performance modes remain available in future PS5 games, I'm probably not gonna upgrade to a possible pro model.

I've either played them already or they're not of interest to me. Not a good month to say the least.

Souls games are very intriguing to me, but I suck at them because I lack the patience to learn. So I'm probably projecting my experience on the actual popularity and succes of this game...

Still, I must agree with @Bez87 's comment.

The presentation was okay. Better than last year. But they could have talked even less and cut the music performances.

HFW won no award at all. A bit sad about this. And Ragnarok should have won Best Game imo. Elden Ring is good, but too niche. 17 Million copies sold, yes. But how many people felt for the hype of this game only to find out that they don't like it? I'm betting at least half. Not the case with Ragnarok, I'm sure.

There were a couple of game announcements to my liking but not a lot.

Hahahaha. Hardly anybody is watching for the actual rewards. LOL Yeah, I'll watch, but only because I'm an insomniac. And I'll have it on in the background, only watching when there is a cool announcement.

Several of my favorite youtube gaming channels published their reviews today. They've convinced me that I won't like the combat system. So, too bad, but I'll pass. Maybe in a deep deep sale.

60fps....I'm finally gonna play this game.

I'm about 3/4 through the main story and the side quests. I'll probably finnish it next week.

Raytrace support is nice, but I'd rather have raster-4K-60. No word on the latter.

It doesn't bother me most of the time. Some games do it more than others. Aloy is a good example of where it is a bit too much for me. Not only the hints, but also her inner monologues. Too repetitive.

It's a tradeoff I guess. The performance mode of Horizon Forbidden West is really good. Yes, if you take the side-by-side screenshots, then you'll see the difference between native and dynamic 4K. But in-game you don't. Not me at least. Not even when sitting less then 2 meters away from my 65" OLED tv.

For that reason I guess I'll probably opt for the performance mode in GoW: Ragnarok too. 60FPS is awesome.

I'm wondering about Sony's business standpoint. They know that a very large majority of their PS5 demographic can't and/or won't pay the likely very expensive toy that will be the PSVR2. Production costs will come down over time and the slowly growing PS5 install base will likely ensure PSVR2's increasing adoption rate. But still...Sony has got to take a huge financial hit on development and production. I would love to hear a Sony rep explain their views on the PSVR2 on an investment call/meeting for example.

Agreed, but 1st and 2nd party titles at the very least and a good number of older titles from the largest publishers. That would still be hard to pull off but probably doable.

Imo, all PS4 titles released in 2019 and before should be included in the Extra and Premium subscriptions. Also, waaay more classic titles. And why were some titles removed from what was then the PS Now collection? Games like (just to name a few) GoW 1 and 2 HD, Daytona U.S.A. and the first Castlevania LoS? Only to be slowly added back in later, a la Nintendo Switch Online? That's just lame.
