Slightly later than usual, the Last Chance to Play section of PS Plus has updated with the list of PS5, PS4 games that will be removed from the service next month. Compared to those that departed earlier this week, we've got a longer list this time but the titles aren't quite as important. There are 11 games leaving PS Plus Extra on 16th April 2024, and they are:
- Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered (PS4)
- Bassmaster Fishing 2022 (PS5, PS4)
- Necromunda: Underhive Wars (PS4)
- Chicken Police - Paint It RED (PS4)
- Soul Calibur VI (PS4)
- Fighting EX Layer (PS4)
- R-Type Final 2 (PS4)
- Gunvolt Chronicles Luminous Avenger IX (PS4)
- Reel Fishing: Road Trip Adventure (PS4)
- Everspace (PS4)
- Dangerous Golf (PS4)
While some are fighting games and as such could be infinite timesinks, the vast majority of these PS5, PS4 titles have a reasonable playtime attached to them. Therefore, you could get away with finishing quite a lot of them before the 16th April 2024 deadline if they're in your backlog.

Pulling Ghostbusters in hopes people buy it after the movie?
It’s like they’re moving the bargain games cart to the back.
Man a lot of really great titles here that the service is losing this time around. SoulCalibur 6, R-Type Final 2, and Gunvolt Chronicles are all fantastic games people should try out, but almost everything here is quality and fun
Highly recommend Chicken Police. One of the few instances of trying a game ive never even heard of on the service and I absolutely clucking loved it. Worth the play, and hopefully we get the sequel and the Coffee Talk style spinoff game to consoles as well.
Losing two fishing games? The angler community is going to be devastated.
Nights of Azure, Nights of Azure 2 and Warriors All Stars also went from being Extra to Premium already.
I got a right steal the other day Need For Speed (ken block cover art one) £1.59 and it plays ok on PS5 considering it says it may experience issues.
Graphics are rather good as well car handling will take some time getting used to. But I'll have to play R-Type before it goes
Of these I only had Chicken Police in my backlog. I guess I better get on to it!
Fighting EX Layer is a brilliant game, especially if you grew up on the StreetFighter EX Plus Alpha games on the PS1, but if you did, you probably knew that anyway!
Came here to complain.. sort of lost steam after I've seen and thought about the list. Never actually considered playing any of these games...

@Peelmynaner Its a point and click styled adventure game. Has an old film noir setting, with a buddy cop setup, but the main gimmick is all the characters are animals.
Only one I've played in that bunch is Chicken Police, I advise anyone who hasn't. Love the setting and the story.

PlayStation's strategy of getting them hooked and reeling them in seems to have just been a red herring afterall.

First time in a while that I don't care about any of the games leaving the catalogue. Good for me I guess.
Oh 🙀 no! Not Bassmaster Fishing 2022. Going to give Ghostbusters a try before it's removed.

Same here. If any of these games drops to €/$5 and I'd want to play them, then I'll buy them. Not likely. PS+ Extra and Premium are not worth it.
I already have Ghostbusters remastered, as for the rest, meh I guess
