Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores' latest patch,1.22, is now live and mostly focuses on doing what it says on the tin: fixing crashes and minor technical issues in Aloy's latest adventure. It's nice to see that Guerilla Games still has time to polish this latest diamond to such a brilliant sheen between low-key confirming Horizon 3 and orchestrating a Machiavellian internal takeover of PlayStation Studios.

I’m still so disappointed in the clouds. They hyped them up only for them to be bland IMO. Oh well
Rather ironically it crashed on me for the first time as it started downloading the update...
@CWill97 no idea what you've been smoking cos those clouds are some of the most impressive around! Not sure what else one could expect from clouds tbh.
Obviously it's always good when they fix things, but the only issue I've had so far is with the Aerial Captures. The game crashed on me when it started to play the first one after I captured it. That hasn't been patched yet, but that issue has been the only one I've run into so far.
I'm having problems with Aerial Capture: North and I saw on Reddit a lot of other people are having problems with that one too. Hopefully they can get that fixed soon.
None so far. I've only just started it, so that'll probably explain it. 😆
I have fallen off to the abyss quite a few times and I was seemingly stuck and got out by randomly jumping around.
Better than the base game where I the only time this happened to me I had to restart the section.
@Steve30000 Make sure the North Aerial is the first one you do. Otherwise it might bug out. It appears that Guerilla is working on a fix though.
A lot of people have this "Follow Seyka into the Tower" bug, so I was hoping that this patch would have fixed it. But no. I've tried the possible fixes/workarounds, proposed on YT and Reddit. They aren't working for me.
I haven't experienced any crashes so far. I've completed pretty much everything the DLC has to offer, the only bug I've encountered is the non-responsive trigger for Aerial Capture North. But I am sure it will be patched out soon, so I can get the 100% trophy
Never had any of these issues thankfully. Still a lot of what I call clipping though, especially when flying.
@Loamy probably way too much smoking lol. I’ll have to fly near & through them again. I might’ve just picked a bad spot tbh. The new water traversal with the flying mount is legit amazing though
No crashes so far probably 3/4 way through, but a couple of issues. The key found in the village seems to have respawned after I used it, and when I needed the SunWing to pull off a grill at the top of a building for a brimstone, the removed grill still blocked the brimstone. Reloaded a recent save to try again. Although still somewhat blocked, was able to crouch jump into small area for brimstone, but couldn't get out. Doh! Ended up just travelling back to a campfire.
Happy to see they're actively patching! This is why I don't play new games right away, I wait a few months after buying them.
