I'm surprised Bend is still going tbh, Days Gone was a great game but other than that they haven't made anything that great personally. I think they've worked on some spin offs from other devs IP's and Syphon Filter which I've never played.

Hopefully there next game is either Days Gone 2 or something similar with an open world setting with looting and crafting.

Stray is a great game but because I've already played it that makes next month a bad month for me, not interested at all in those other two games.

The base game was great but the content wasn't enough and the post launch support has been very poor.

At this rate in 10-15 years time Halo will be more associated with Playstation than Xbox, crazy.

@PuppetMaster Yeah people didn't bat an eyelid back when Sony invested into Anime years ago, now that Anime is popular all of a sudden Sony are monopolising the market 🙄. Even though there's countless more and bigger Anime studios out there, but of course people who don't even like anime join in on the conversation like they're experts on the subject.

@Moonvalley2006 Who doesn't censor things these days, even Microsoft and Nintendo censor things and even don't allow certain games on their stores. I think Steam is the only place for truly uncensored content, but if you want uncensored anime then the only way is to buy the blu rays or illegal downloads.

@Decimateh-xblz It's exactly like with the Demon Slayer movies, they are canon with the plot so you need to watch it before watching the next season. The film is based on the 5th and 6th volumes of the manga whilst season 2 will be based on volumes 7-10.

Fantastic to see, hopefully this success brings more games based on Anime that isn't Naruto, MHA, Dragon Ball, SAO or One Piece.

This sounds horrendous, not only is AI taking over YouTube thanks to Sora 2 but now is starting to become more mainstream in gaming.

@LifeGirl The handheld won't get any dedicated exclusives for it as it will just be the PS6 but weaker and only play selected games. For the PS6 itself Sony will definitely launch with atleast one exclusive as they always do.

They should just partner with some other publishers/devs to join the concerts instead of it solely being based on Playstation IP's. Surely that would attract more attention, especially with some Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Zelda scores.

I won't be buying it, but I may rent the game if it's getting a physical version.

So the next Xbox will be losing even more revenue, if they allow the Steam store as well then they will also lose their 30% cut as more people will buy off Steam than the Xbox store. Then there's the price of the PC itself which is rumoured to be over £1000, which means even less sales than this gens consoles.

That's a lot of lost revenue that will only be passed onto the players by increasing the cost of gamepass, and eventually even more lay offs and closures.

That third party publisher only future is not far away at all.

That's because the PS6 will be the only true next gen console, the next Xbox will be a PC.

This won't last that long by the looks of it.

Did my first playthrough last week and it wasn't so bad in the end (difficulty), those enemy gauntlets at the end were annoying though. But yeah that after credits ending has me itching to start my second playthrough just so I can then start my third playthrough just to get the true end 😑.

Killzone is dead and people need to come to turns with that, the last game sucked and even the previous games were flops by sales metrics. There's just not enough interest in this game (same with Resistance) for Sony to take a gamble.

Shame would rather Sony acquire them over Tencent or the Saudi groups which I'd wager are the frontrunners.

@PuppetMaster Exactly, if anything it's wrong for obvious Xbox fans (look at their bio) to be on a Playstation centric site defending Xbox starting a storm in the comments section. If we did that now on Purexbox we would be branded trolls and banned.

Really does truly baffle me that these obvious non playstation fans are here to begin with kicking up a fuss and some times labelling people as Sony "fan boys", I just find it very ironic and sometimes so hypocritical.

When Microsoft fail against the competition they try to buy them or "out spend" them, so I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft try to buy Tiktok or another entertainment giant at some point. It's just the type of company they are, throw money at problems rather than actually trying.

I understand why Xbox is dead now with people like this leading them. So glad I'm a Playstation/Nintendo only player as I'd be very concerned if I was invested into Xbox as well.

On PS5 i am trying to finish a few games before the 27th as on that day il have Ghost of Yotei, Digimon Story Time Stranger and Final Fantasy Tactics. So my main focus this weekend will be on Borderlands 4 and Black Book.

On Switch 2 it's more Pokémon Legends Z-A and onto Super Mario Galaxy 2

So that's it then, the final piece to their downfall. They are literally just a third party publisher now and are going to lose a lot of players next gen. Even I might start buying their games on Playstation going forward 😂.

@Oram77 @Max_the_German Oh but it's fine for people to call devs lazy for saying the series s is hard to develop for, and for devs to be lazy when it comes to dodgy switch ports. But when it comes to bad PS5 Pro support it's definitely not on the devs 😂.

@SeaDaVie This is why I don't believe their next console will have multiple storefronts, otherwise if players are buying off steam then they get 0% instead of the 30%.

Only Halo game I've played was Infinite and that was awful, one of the blandest open world attempts I've seen. Also didn't help I didn't have a clue what was going on 😅. But yeah if they make a reboot of the series I may give it a go as I liked the combat, felt a bit "arcadey".

From the trailers I've seen and reviews on YouTube the game just looks so bland, don't get me wrong the visuals are definitely better but it's characters, world and setting is just boring. Just give these guys Fall Out Vegas to remake and il gladly buy that.

But she only mentioned the biggest online multiplayer games. Sony's multiplayer games MLB, Destiny and HellDivers 2 are multiplatform...

@yohn777 Just by Europe being Playstations biggest market, so I would assume the attach would be higher, hopefully we get some stats soon.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised to see it have an higher attach rate in Europe.

I use my Portal for the PlayStation Plus Premium cloud streaming and so far its been flawless. Without the need for the PS5 to be on (or even own one if you don't want) it's like it's a standalone console.

@Rich33 Some mobile phone manufacturers are starting to change that though, Samsung offers up to seven years of security and OS updates for flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series and newer, with select mid-range models receiving up to six years. Even Apple devices are now getting 5-7 years of software support.

Though I suppose there's more factors into why some people upgrade every two years such as cosmetic damage, broken screens, poor battery etc. But in terms of Software and even Hardware it's getting to a point where you're set for atleast 5 years with a new phone without it feeling outdated.

But the majority will still upgrade sooner anyway, as who doesn't like to have the newest shiny device out. Most feel inferior using old tech.

@Oram77 I keep seeing comments all over the Internet about how gamers won't pay certain prices and even the casuals would be priced out of next gen if it's above £500 etc but like with your comment above I keep thinking how can people say this whilst millions are paying more for mobile phones every 2-3 years. Yes most people don't pay the full price upfront for their phone but the same can be said about consoles, there's many options to have consoles on finance like PayPal credit and pay in 3, Klarna, Clearpay, and others.

I think Sony should just go all out to cover all bases, launch with the standard PS6, PS6 Pro that matches the new Xbox console on specs and price, and an PS6 handheld.

The Pro needs to stop being a mid gen update and instead be an option from the start.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner Exactly, PS6 will be attracting the Non PC players, Playstation fans, casuals and those that buy the cheaper console. Whereas Xbox are going after the PC crowd but at that price point isn't better to just buy an actual decent PC that can be upgraded over time.

To the masses of casuals they will just see it as a new Playstation and Xbox console without even researching the specs, they will just laugh at that Xbox price and buy the PS6. So if it's true then that's just baffling from Microsoft, they are targeting the hardcore gamers who are the minority and most of them won't move from Playstation knowing full well their games are coming over anyway.
