Superb game and I so hope this DLC is real. Dragons Dogma 2 was an absolute delight to explore and probably one of the best games I've played where I can just spend hours exploring the map. Imo it's a way better game than Crimson Desert.

For me videos games are an art form, using generative AI for that art is just fraud in my eyes. Also AI will not benefit the consumer in any way, do you think if these companies use AI then games will get cheaper? People will lose their jobs and development time should get shorter and cheaper right? So surely the price of games will go down to reflect this.

But of course it won't, developers want to use AI to make things easier, get rid of staff and make more money from it without giving a damn about the consumer.

So as a consumer why would I or anyone else care to defend companies that use AI.

@Globo Everything isn't dynamically priced though, only games on sale were dynamically priced, making pretty much the same as the just for you promotions.

I can't say I've ever experienced it on Playstation and how would I know? I just wishlist games and then check those games when there's a sale on and sometimes I might buy some.

I see the fake experts are out with their guesstimates 🤦.

Been really enjoying my time with this game, just reached level 25 but I don't think I'm ready for ranked yet. So far I'm playing each map until I'm familiar with the layout until I move onto the next, all whilst trying to do any contracts I can. By next weekend I should be ready to start playing on Outpost.

And yes it is the same, they even say the discounts offered vary on different factors such as playing time and subscription length etc.

It's also required on steam for games to disclose if they are using AI or not. The fact they didn't just makes this company even more scummy in my eyes.

@PuppetMaster They are probably trying to tread lightly to not upset the elitist challenge crowd, I've seen them before hating on people who were asking from software to include difficulty options, threatening they would boycott games if they did. It's a mindset that I will never understand.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with games catering to both types of players.

I think a lot of people are still holding out for the next big 3D Mario, Pokémon, Animal Crossing and Zelda games before moving to the Switch 2. I'd say year 2/3 will be big years for the Switch 2 for better for worse, just depends on software and that rumoured price increase.

@cburg Look there's no need to take my comments so seriously, you know and everyone on here knows I'm a Playstation and Nintendo fan and my comments on here and NintendoLife reflect that. So you don't need to take my comments to heart just take them with a pinch of salt.

And just so you know I don't hate everything Xbox, my hate is more towards Microsoft as a company and would love to see them fall. But for xbox itself I did own a series S a few years back and this year I will be buying Forza and Fable, last year I bought Hi Fi Rush, Grounded and the Oblivion Remaster, super looking forward to State of Decay 3 and I still play Overwatch so if I hated Xbox that much I wouldn't be investing in games they own.

Buy yeah don't get fixated too much on what I say on here.

Of course it would come to playstation eventually, for consoles playstation is the home of the majority of Bethesdas players and fans.

As a portal owner I'd say premium is a great deal, we get cloud streaming, three free games per month that can be streamed and 7-8 games added to the extra catalog which can also be streamed.

Recently been cloud streaming Still Wakes the Deep and High on Life on the Portal with the current 1080p setting and that's enough for me with no lag.

I don't get how most people are getting their games spoilt. I visit this site daily, youtube daily and X every now and then and I've never had a game ruined for me. If anything watching multiple trailers for the same game ruin games more than anything for me.

On PS5 i will be playing Monster Hunter Stories 3, Fatal Frame 2 and Marathon

On Switch 2 it's more Pokopia and Mario Galaxy 2

On Steam Deck I will be continuing with Bullet Girls Phantasia

@PuppetMaster Yeah Square Enix have fallen quite a bit lately to a point where most other Japanese studios are pumping out better games even the smaller ones like Falcom. I'd say Dragon Quest is the only game right now that's shifting the numbers for them.

Pretty funny seeing people moan about Sammy being a fanboy when those people themselves aren't playstation fans and are just here to stir the pot.

I honestly believe they wanted more money from Sony for their exclusive deals and Sony said no after looking at the poor sales. This is why they announced a multiplatform strategy just to p**s Sony off, but really they are still up for deals to highest bidder.

Depending on the price of the PS6 I may go for the handheld first then get the main console a couple years later.

I think Sony need to do the following to get some market share back on Japan.

1, Acquire a big Japanese dev/publisher.
2, Use that developer to create JRPG's with a decent budget.
3, Bring out a native handheld.
4, Develop or Co develop anime games based off the current biggest anime shows, and make them exclusive.
5, Go all out on getting any new gacha games to release on Playstation day one, and even get them as console exclusives if possible.
6, Create more strong partnerships with third parties like they have with Konami.

Just more evidence square are full of crap, they will never change.

On the other hand you're not missing much by not playing this remaster. Way too grindy, especially when you reach a certain point in the story, my god that part was tedious.

@Boxmonkey That's not going to stop kids from playing these types of games, they will just get their parents to verify for them or find another work around like using a passport image etc. I know age verification is inevitable but it's not going to change much in the grand scheme of things.

Age ratings don't really do anything, parents will still buy their kids these games. GTA has an age rating of 18 and that hasn't stopped kids from playing.

I'd wager a lot of those are also Xbox fans wanting Sony to release their games on PC.

@HRdepartment you mean just like how Purexbox had articles on Playstation pulling back on PC, Bluepoint and the rumoured Playstation 6 delay.

Dev kits in 2027 so possibly a 2028 release date. If I was Sony I would match their date or atleast the same year.

@VeganH It's not a cloud streaming app though so you won't be able to use it to play playstation games. You can only use the app to mirror what's on the TV from the PS5.

@RoomWithaMoose For me it's the dualsense design and cloud streaming of games we own which is something this app can't do.
