Re: Preview: Heat Is Everything World of Tanks Isn't and That's What Makes It a Blast

As somone who spent 850h & €1k in World of Tanks, I do NOT RECOMMEND this game. It's very addictive and great at the beginning but they keep ensh*ttify your experience. Pay to win tanks, paid "boosters" which on higher levels are simply required to make progress, immersion breaking - silly tanks (e.g. spider tanks), horny-bait sexy commanders, ads everywhere. Don't waste your time and money.

Re: Preview: Why 007 First Light Is the Most Exciting Game of 2026

Really unimpressed by the gameplay and the performance was awful - even though it was a demo. Low framerate, poor graphics (especially character faces), janky gameplay. Overscripted car pursuit scene feels a lot like Mafia: The Old Country.

NPC's AI looks dumb - setting a wheelbarrow on fire makes the person next to it blindly stare at it and nobody else from security is alerted? And he can just move along the building wall unnoticed by anyone?

During fight enemies just run at him or aim at him without shooting giving him time to throw his shotgun at them or take their gun... Cars explode just from a little gunfire.

Honestly the only thing I liked was multiple conversation options. Didn't really spot what the options were but it gives me hope there are multiple ways of approaching missions.

Re: First Witcher 4 Footage Could Be Coming This Week

Worst scenario: interviews with employees (taken from diffrent camera angles, in some takes not looking directly at camera) where they say how excited they are about the game, how they've been overcoming challenges to give us most immersive experience, how each and every employee poured their heart in it and gave their blood, sweat and tears. The interviews will be intertwined with footage of graphic designers working on models of characters, locations, objects in their 3D object desing software.

Best scenario: previews of some actual gameplay, maybe a short side quest, character stats sheet, inventory etc.

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Broke PS Store Sales Records for Ubisoft

Addressing all the comments about the number of articles saying ACS is a success - we'll probably never find out if it's a paid promotion and with that 'return to form' sentence I think the author is actually baiting us (because I can't imagine this was use unironically).

Regardless of that, what drives most traffic to websites such as pushsquare are guides. It must feel pretty ridiculous to give a game a low rating and then keep cooking up guides for said game for a month or two. So in such websites interest is to project games' success, despite the fact that pushsquare writers surely have enough competence and insight to know that something smells fishy if a developer proclaims success without releasing actual sales data.

Articles promoting ACS success keep using misleading terms like "number of players" (instead of units sold), "second most successful launch in the series" (comparing to other AC titles, none of which released day 1 on steam, instead of comparison to other games released lately) etc.

Let's wait, see and come back to these articles in a couple months.

Re: PS Plus Essential PS5, PS4 Games for March 2025 Announced

Funny how when a game gets a lot of positive user reviews then it's a hit, but when the reviews are negative then suddenly it's "rEviEw bOmBiNg!1". And as I mentioned, it's not "free" if it's a paid subscription. I've seen enough reviews of this game to know it's a turd and I have no intention to play it. There are plenty of great games out there, no point wasting time on this one. I want Sony to include good games in the subscription, not ones that nobody wanted so Sony got it for cheap.

Re: Guns More of a 'Fallback Solution' in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

@Matroska the scene you linked - the fire is caused by Henry Jones Senior being clumsy. The boulder scene happens after he escapes a set off set of traps - there's no longer time to be careful. But before that, when they enter the temple, he's being attentive, careful and saves a clumsy hired guy by keeping him out of the light not to trigger traps. Bottom line is - it's the company he keeps who are usually clumsy and he's the opposite.

And please, don't compare Raiders of the Lost Ark or The Last crusade (both 10/10) to a dogcrap like John Wick.
