Get in, I held off need for speed as nearly everyone has come to plus at some point. AC Valhala saves me inserting disc when I start it and this is probably permanent addition now as its probably linked to ubisoft plus permanent titles.
Outer worlds was another ps4 boxed game I had so now I can just download the ps5 version and start that.
Have to say I feel more pressurised to play plus games before they are withdrawn rather than triple A games I purchased to play. Which is just wrong.

I bet they are doing this to elongate the story time playthrough. They will be stating its the biggest game in the franchise yet at over 20hrs of single player content. However, half of those will either be fetch quests or driving back and forth between locations to complete a mission. I stopped buying battlefield when they dropped the story mode, and I would stop buying (well waiting years for a sale) of call of duty if the campaign is a bloated mess. I really enjoy the campaigns and don't do anything else with the titles

If Microsoft left the console making business and became a publisher, I wonder what will happen to gamespass. Sony are not going to let them release other third party games on it as it would eat their sales commission and with no xbox economy, I don't think publishers will want their games on their if its not reaching the required console audience. Would Microsoft only gamespass be enticing? Love to know the attach rate of ea access on playstaion as that's the only other ganes subscription on playstation at moment

2 games on my list to get. So glad not buying abundance of games anymore... only triple aaa games now but months or years after launch. Its proving right decision

@NinjaNicky I only played and clocked story earlier this year but never did the wild runs dlc. Guess I wont go back to it now. Will just progress withe number 2 before that gers shut down

I.dont want Sony to waste resources on another handheld. They didn't support the last one after the initial year, and they now have VR that is a secondary device to concentrate on and spreading the games thin. Also as much as I liked the vita and I am assuming this is the same for the psp, the vita was bloody uncomfortable to hold and play without getting hand cramps. I invested in controller grips but the stupid back touch pad was just ridiculous and awkward to use, and you realise how much you rely on L3 and R3 when they are not there. The Portal feels awesome. It feels natural, it plays brilliantly and the screen shows a lot of detail I didn't even see on my 4k TV. As internet gets better, this will be the natural progression for consoles.

Answered used it now and then because using backbone/kishi2 is crap with a phone because of the interruptions of you know, it being a phone and people texting, emails coming in and calls. Having used the Portal yesterday, I will use remote play a hell of a lot now. It was great, detail is great and colours pop. I couldn't feel lag

Ouch not liking that

No not getting another PS5 unless it's the Pro. However my PS Portal is coming Wednesday which makes far more sense for me to splash the cash on, because I would only buy a second PS5 to play in second room if main tv is being used, and that is a far cheaper option

I think all trust has gone since the vaulted content everyone paid for has not been put back into cycle like they suggested. Never mind the fact that you need that vaulted content to make sense of the story. I don't know why they release story content now the continuity has gone and can only be read anoit

@SuperSilverback ot does look. Like a reskin. The graphics to me look liked upgraded texture models placed on top of the old animations. His walking and sneaking looked off, and rhe crocodile at the end

I don't get the prices. Why is the price exchanges so out of kilter. How is the disk drive in UK more than America, yet the physical console is cheaper. Might as well order console from UK and disk drive from America as it won't be region locked

I just don't understand why Sony is not throwing money at ilusion to produce these patches. They could even sell them for a fiver if they are so concerned with money. If 10% of the owners of the games paid for the patch they would earn millions more

For many, it's FromSoft's best work, and many more would consider it easily among the best PS4 games.
Considering was just voted best game of all time, not sure how it's only among the best Ps4 games

I swear people moaning about the price haven't actually played it. If it had been a single player own game (the campaign) with the multilayer elements removed then everyone would have rated it like guardians of the galaxy, which is a one and done game. I don't do multiplayer but played this for the campaign and it was worth the price of any other normal single player experience. Just choose not to play the multi player like I do for cod and battlefield etc

@Quintumply cheers. I mean I have already done everything. But I did enjoy the campaign so might dip back in at some point just not right now.

I guess they will take this off ps plus extra soon. Why would you buy this if you all you need to buy is the dlc to get definite edition now?

Was going to buy Saints Row when it was cheap... so in essence this has saved me money. So that makes me happy.

I think the hit detection looked off, like the bullets went though the characters with no reactions. Just gives no sense of weight to the guns

@XboxTheBestBox it makes sense and I would hope that they do a deal like bungies and allow to do multi format, otherwise I could see sony cutting their output down as it would compete too much with their own first party games in similar genres. I know people moan about annual releases, but at least there is always an option to play with ubisoft

Personally, I love most Ubisoft games. They have an addicting behaviour that fits my psyche of collecting stuff. However, it sounds like what made Immortals different (cartoon graphics, the narration and puzzles) from AC being stripped makes it more of an AC title (which I love). Therefore I would be glad its even cancelled as it is not the game I would want it to be. Its a shame the premise for the dlc was not made into a proper full fledge sequel instead.

They can start by returning the paid for locked content back to the customers who paid for it. That is the only way I will return to anything bungie now. That is in spite of the fact I love the playability of their games

Sniper Elite 5 was on my to buy list, so I am well happy.

Love the sniper elite series, but I have a rule nowadays, never buy brand new, and only purchase when a game drops below 20 pound in the online sales. Guess being a gaming dad, with less time and massive back catalogue allows me to be a bit more savy. I get great games at cheap prices or I get them through ps plus premium. Whichever comes first.

Does this mean we may not see many exclusives tonight as Sony don't tend to show to far in advance?

I got the razor kishi but just wish they aligned the analogue sticks like a playstation controller. I don't understand why this branded one is like this

Anyone else having issues adding mafia to their collection? I had downloaded it previously on ps plus extra or now (can't remember which), bit now it states not available.

Own all of the games, so that actually tells me, that it is a good selection, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them. It's a great service for the casual market or those new to playstation or gaming in general. There is such a varied choice. You would never need to buy games if you are new to gaming, with the ps collection and the ps plus. The casuals would not necessarily be buying lots of games.

Wish they would release the future games and the spin offs, as hd remasters for ps4/ps5

Effin gutted. Was doing the terminator resistance infiltrator dlc last night. Which is a no save mission. I did every target on it and before I knew it was time for bed, with have to get up for work just over 5hrs later. I thought I would do the final two trophies when I got home tonight. So I put it in rest mode, to find this bloody update has closed the game and lost all the progress. Waste of a good hour.

At least if they are going to choose from their catalogue, they should remaster remake the killzone series including the vita game (I know it was a subsidiary that did that game but assets are definitely from 2 and 3). They could remake number 1 completely so it falls in line with number 2 and number 3 was a direct sequel of 2, so that would way more interesting.

I don't personally play any of these type of games so I am kind of out of the loop, so my next statement might be completely off. Is Dead by Daylight one of these type of games, and hasn't it had all of these horror icons as the killer? Therefore what's the point of have separate games tied to one horror movie only?

@mattb2020 I did struggle with the remote app to get it working to begin with. Then I just paid the 5 pound for the other app, and it is so much better quality and less drop out or lag, that I just haven't bothered going back to see if the official app works with it

I just bought the Razer Kishi V2. Had to download a different remote play called psplay
That app is better than the official app and far more stable
