Now they got the technology, I would love for them to be able to up res and then implement the live characters from t he old street fighter movie game onto the animations from a normal street fighter 2 or 3 or alpha games, so that it is completely realistic looking.
It was the poor quality and capture that made it unplayable back then but they could get it to work now

Was expecting the remaster to look a bit better. Not overly impressed with it. I wonder what price they are looking for.

I actually bought it on sale late last year and only played it recently and actually thought the game was really good, both gameplay and story. If you didn't associate online live sevice (which tou dont have to use) or that its a rock steady game then it would be appreciated much more. If they are moaning about lack of sales then giving it away as part of jan ps plus was never gonna help.

@DennisReynolds that's exactly what he said in the reveal. That ps5 users no longer have to choose between fidelity mode and performance mode as ps5 pro would deliver fidelity mode at 60fps.
I have had both systems since day one. I am happy with the system but look at df on nearly every game using pssr, every single game is performance mode enhanced. It may have more than standard performance mode but it is nowhere near the features of quality mode. Hence why we still get ps5 pro quality and performance mode options.

Yes but will we be getting quality mode graphics at 4k 60fps as originally promised. Not performance enhanced modes at 4k 60fps which have less of the bolts and whistles of quality modes and worse draw distance. I would also like the ability for it to upres all ps4 games more even if it can't unlock frame rates. It only sharpens a small amount currently

I just can't get into this game like I did with destiny and things like the division etc. I think the lack of structured story to really test things out and the impossible task of being solo player to try things out, without embarrassing yourself is what put me off

Will it auto download and replace the existing game. It just says owned for on the ps store but no option to download

@naruball the issue is that it would need to compromise to run the games and I don't want a series s situation where they starting building to lowest common denominator. If they are going to build a new one then I would say ps4 pro level but then you wouldn't get the latest games unless it streamed. But look at how quickly they would then deactivate the Portal as a device, because they can't have competition within. There is no reason a ps vita or pstv couldn't stream ps5 games but hey they cut that off.

I am happy with ps portal. All I want now is the ability to stream all digital games I own, including ps3, ps4 and ps5 including any dlc I have purchased. Internet getting better all the time and much cheaper option. I don't want to play lower framerates sub 1080. Also Sony is really ***** in the last 20 years at supporting more than one device at a time.

Really enjoyed the castlevnia lord of shadows games, so I will definitely try this from them

Want both new games and remasters. Where's that option

@IssyVeedz thanks for coming back to me. I don't think I can be adding yet another long game to my backlog. Too many similar long games now. I know the quality is there but I just want something quick, exciting and to the point.

A remaster of the first would be great, even just a frame and resolution boost. It's another game stuck kn ps3

Thought it was very good. I don't care about whether games are first party. I just want great games and there was a lot of promising looking games there. The first party games will come. Xbox studio games will come. But having loads of third party games to come and not from the usual suspects. Look at the variety of new games from last year. It's never a better time to be a gamer.

They haven't abandoned it, they have simply renamed it, delayed to next season and keep working on it in the meantime. They make it sound like they have changed focus, but the fact of the matter it's too late in the season to release it

@themcnoisy exactly. I am just at the same point with Outer Worlds. It's classed as a smaller rpg yet I have done main game and frist dlc and I am at 40hrs. I got until 18th before its taken off plus to do second dlc but I think I have had enough. I find myself now constantly going to the how long to beat website to choose next game.

Longest game of recent times has been ac odyssey, still doing the final dlc atlantis and over 200hrs over a year and half amongst other games. Makes me scared to start longer games now like witcher, ac valhala, cyberpunk etc

@Areus using the logic that nearly every project cancelled recently tied to sony are live service games that were in secret development, including shutting down the developers of some, even though their pedigree was in single player experiences, stands to reason that sumo may have been tasked with building a live service mascot game that is now cancelled.
Have sony cancelled any single player games on recent years?

It doesn't say added, it says offered which means available i think.

So are they going to remove all ps4 games on extra and premium? That's a massive amount of games (that don't have ps5 equivalents). For instance the ps portal has access to ps5 games only, but it's like a quarter of what's on offer overall. That is massive downgrade, especially as many are enhanced on ps5 thanks to horse power.

@Stragen8 this is what infuriated me when they announced vault. I knew they would re release content and make us pay again. I was a massive player up until the vaulted content happened. I either have bought the expansions 2 years later for next to nothing or had it free on plus. I will never give bungie another penny, even though the gameplay is great. I will not support a d3 or marathon.

Haven't played destiny for quite a while but was the dreadnaught part of paid dlc that was then vaulted?
If so, is this location returning to all people or just those buying the latest season?

Problem they had was trying to make a full on franchise, instead of focusing on capturing the audience with a decent game. If they made the game more enticing and enriching and focused on marketing the game as a game. Then start to release lore via other media.

The article forgets to mention London Studios and other great studios that have been shuttered during the time. Weren't they also live service games?

I will never buy a dedicated ps handheld again after psvita. Sony just don't support them. Also I don't want a handheld constraining the ps6 if its shared library, this is the equivalent of xbox series s. I am super happy with the Portal, just make it 4k 120 streaming, networks are getting better and better, and it just makes sense to utilise the power of the cloud and ps6

Trying to finish outer worlds before it's taken off ps plus extra as that will no doubt be soon. Also playing jedi survivor, as I bought ea play for a pound yesterday, so got a month to finish that game. I am also playing loup1 on pro.. As well as finishing gta v and started vice city with new patch

Just remastered 1 and 2 if these are iterations. 3 is available through back compatability

Just managed to order a disc drive. Most of the games that are ps5 pro enhanced including this one, I own on disc. I only own 18 discs games (more if you count the ps4 games that instantly upgrade to ps5 version) but own nearly 70 digitally. Therefore this now being one of the day ones has forced my hand into buying the drive ready for day one

Is it playable in offline? I still want to give it a go (I enjoyed arkham knights)
If it's not playable offline, it would mean I need to get it QuickTime before it disappeaes

Got one too. Though as it's a pre order, it gives me time to decide if it will be worth to me at launch as we get more info.
My biggest issue is that all of the top tier games that are being upgraded, they happen to be the only games that I own on disc. So I have to order the disc drive. However, I am not ordering the disc drive until I am fully committed to following through with the purchase, as I have the original ps5 with disc drive, so a spare drive is of no benefit to me.

This looks like late ps2 / early ps3 game graphics, quite blurry and terrible models and animation. I know gameplay and atmosphere are key, but I think it looks migraine inducing with the way it teleports around and squinting to see what your actually aiming at. I don't think a few more months would benefit this game, as it looks like it requires a complete graphics overall. Never mind the ai of the npcs. That instance where the person was falling of the building and transferred to someone in the small crowd of people, and no one reacted to the body hitting the ground.

Mines ordered, I'm a suckered for a new playstation console
