@Max_the_German sorry I know it streams on a separate chip at 1080p60fpshdr, however, what I am saying is that if it could convert the main system to 1080p super sample and stream that, then it would be even better? I am guessing that the chip for streaming is having to convert the TV output image from 4k to 1080p, so it will unlikely be doing a super sample, and if the image for tv is already switched to 1080p then there would be less grunt?

I wished they integrated output to 1080 when you connect via portal. It would then super sample but also reduce data being streamed making even more stable.

@Golem25 yes I am finding the campaign to be boring, especially the whole calendar, where you don't know what car you going to need to get you through and not earning enough at the beginning to have enough cars with various ratings required, let alone tune them up to be competitive

I will never get to my backlog of purchased games and I've been on a ps3 spending spree recently

Happy as no more added to back log as own BL3 and can drop in and out of nhl hockey whenever I feel like it

@Impossibilium update, went through the downloads list and there 8 or 9 games that are either not there at all or are only trials. Epic mickey and sonic cd show as normal but when you download they are trial versions with no keys. Dead nation is completely missing in action

Hopefully its a big graphical update, as original is a but bland but it was an early 360 title

Thankfully nothing to add to the backlog this month, which seems rather silly saying but it's getting too big. Already have BL3 in backlog, personally no interest in among us, as don't like graphic style or multilayer games, and although NHL is probably good, I didn't really play the previous ones on plus despite loving it back in the megadrive days. I like the occasional match in fifa as I love footy and used to love the footy games but just don't have spare time to commit to those one offs and single games nowadays.

@Impossibilium I am not sure which list I have checked, bit will definitely use that one now as my spot check. What I had initially done, was go to store, all games in a to z order and then go through ticking off on the sheet.
So green for those showing full game purchased
Orange as delisted so not in store and therefore check against downloads
Blue where it's now showing trial purchased but main game as required to buy.

Therefore I need to go through orange and blue in my downloads. I think I have used the one you said in the past, when downloading something back to my hard drive, but I may have used the store one when I was doing this exercise to save coming out of the store app and going back in.

@MrMagic I am uk too. So no idea what's going on. Going to have to do the painful download list first. You forget how archaic that was on ps3 and how much better ps4 and ps5 did it

How does it compare to ps3 version. I have it but haven't played it. I know with sly game and jak games, the hd collections were supposedly superior to the ps4 emulated ps2 games

I am wondering if games get delisted and then reinstated, whether it is a different version and that is causing an issue. Only speculating but it's a pain.

@MrMagic tried that, even restored licences on ps3, ps4, ps5 consoles but nothing. Its a painstaking exercise but I am not rebuying. I will raise with sony and if no joy find out next steps

@BetaRabbit64 I am on the ps3, and in the physical ps3 store. It shows other games I have purchased as purchased. But there is a number that now state purchased for the trial version and the main game I need to purchase again. I am currently going through the store and ticking off the 300+ digital games that show in the store as purchased or not purchased, and if they have been delisted I now have to go through the horrendous ps3 download list, that you can't search, filter or sort. Not only that it has the vita library mixed in. But once I have built up my list of issues I will contact sony.

@Arnna yes I have started buying up loads of ps3 games recently building out that library because no chance what I bought will appear on ps plus. However going through I noticed games I owned on the ps3 store now saying I needed to buy. They also have epic mickey 2. That's next on my list

Out of interest, did anyone ever own the digitsl version of castle of illusion remake on ps3. My purchase of the game has changed to trial only and now prompts me to buy. I know I had full game as I have the trophies for completing it.
I then started going through my spreadsheet (very sad I know but I need to keep.track) of my ps3 digital library, both ps plus and purchased and I have quite a few games that now show as trial versions only. Again I have not cancelled ps plus, and bought most games, plus I have trophies for completing. Plus I never download trials. I have restored licences but to no avail.

Does it matter if games come to current only or rival platforms? If the games turn out to be great, can't we just enjoy them on our console of choice. If it be last generation, then you have to settle for an inferior version. If it be xbox, then you settle for series s standard (as that's the most popular.version) or maybe enhanced series x. Games are planned for the masses. I think most games that come out nowadays are far superior to our tinted glasses games of yesteryear. I know as I am playing loads of classics in the back catalogue and even these are enhanced remasters etc.

Ok that means I need to drop the other 8 games I am currently playing through to start tiny tina, no point in paying for increased service and then missing out on the games on wish list and I don't want to have to buy full game

I will happily admit I watch tutorials and read guides. One due to playtime limitations, two there's no real indication of what things do and where to do it in their games, three to maintain fun, lack of progression can put you off. Also just because you watch and read tutorials, does not mean you can actually do the things, one f up and your dead. Lol

Ffs - I just bought Monster Hunter Rise in the sale last week. Mind you it was with the expansion and I'm guessing this version doesn't have the dlc. I am hoping it don't otherwise thats 16.59 wasted

Serves me right, up until last week, I had stopped buying ps4 and ps5 games due to the backlog and the fact those on my wishlist ended up on plus in one way or another.

I will stick to buying ps3 games and build up my digital collection as the dvd drive is a little dodgy now after 14 years

I live and breathe playstation but damn, today's xbox show really showed up sony marketing department. I will not jump ship especially with my backlog of smash hits to play (i literally just added 5 more ps3 gamws to it) but I need the excitement of what is to come for the ps5. I don't even need games, I just want the ability to play streamed games on portal (even if they restrict to owned games) but I wished they would just emulate ps3 software so I can play my collection

@ShogunRok it's more the bloated grind and chore that normally goes with this. Dont get me wrong I like do tasks but I dont like having to repeat something just to progress

Return of the cgi trailers again. And more updates on the same sort of fps hero shooter or world creating / cooking games. It completely kills the excitement, as we are not seeing anything truly new. I am so glad I have amassed a back catalogue of over 150 games over ps3 / ps4 / ps5, not to mention the games added to ps plus extra and premium. I actually get excited for starrtng new old games.

One thing I would hope they do, is actually have voice work. I mean they could use AI to do that. The talking and reading got on my nerves.

I dont bloody believe this. Never thought this would get a remake. I am currently doing this as part of my backlog, its a great game but it is tough in areas, especially with the poor camera and fps making simple things hard. I am just currently finding the last of the leafs and those bloody carts before I finish the last boss so.i can get the platinum. I.am not starting this over agian

I am well happy. Always wanted to play streets of rage 4 but didn't want to fork out for it. And then spongebob for me and my little girl is going be great as she loved bikini bottom. Not overly bothered with the wrestling game but looks old school so might be up my street. Nice quick games instead of slug fest

Can't believe I was excited for this show. Will get Astro Bot, really got hyped at the start for concorde and it just turned out to be a reskinned destiny deathwatch, gutted, because if it had been a full on reskinned pve destiny with that story I would love it. Silent Hill looks bad remake. And we are just getting killed with soulslike games, they all are blurring into one now.

If everyone jumped on board the xbox train for this, it would devastate the industry. Think about it, if ps players currently whether it be ps4 or ps5, jumped to xbox and gamepass, then not only would cod sales fall through the roof, but all the third party releases be it day one or older sales would also fall through the rood because of then being on gamepass. There would not be enough income to support all these games being available on a single prescription, as both ea play and ubisoft are already part of gamepass. Sony wouldn't be able to compete and most of its studios would be closed or sold off, meaning lots of ip disappearing. Dont want to be bringer of bad news but/that's is what will happen. Note I don't want xbox to leave the industry either.

I would be interested to know what is the most played feature on COD. Is it the old school multilayer and zombies, or is it now tur f2p warzone. If its the latter, then I can't see any new subscribers to gamepass, as those who play warzone already have it. UNLESS they create a new tier of Game Pass for COD. So they don't put up the prices of current gp bit introduce a new tier so technically its keeping promise.
I just can't see someone forking out for new xbox just to pay gamepass just to play cod. If that was the case, the would butcher their own xbox sales for anything they plan to release on ps as it would be free on game pass. This would also then pee off third parties, because if ps players moved to xbox for cod, they would get a lot of third party games for free and therefore massive loss of sales.

How can the first collection be lower than both of the games in said collection. I know the versions singularly are ps2 vrs ps3 collection but the collections were hd up and nothing else different? Therefore bring superior

I would have thought xdefiant would have been the one to be dropped rather than an established ip that has a clear fan base. I would have played more division, but I won't play another fps online shooter.

Considering how many good games are being removed as well. This is actually quite bad.

I couldn't care less where games get released now. In the 90s and early 2000s most consoles were unique and you very rarely has the same game on different consoles. Even 3rd party games were either different versions altogether or different additions. Nowadays third parties are pretty much parity just resolution differences. And once I committed to a digital library and trophy hunting I wouldn't move ecosystem. I am playstation by habit, but I do love the habit. I won't everyone to experience the games so we can talk about them. I miss some games like halo back in the day, so if they come across, the better

@AFCC yes I used to play mainly single player, and you team up in some events naturally for strikes etc. It was a great back in the day that got very convoluted with its systems over time but I think they were stripping a lot out.
Trouble is they stripped out too much including the original campaign and dlc that we all paid for

Games are games and these are exclusives so it doesn't matter who has developed them as longas they are good quality. Aside from foamstars I haven't seen a lot wrong with what's been released and these have generated excitement and mostly met the excitement.

I love mine. I had the kishi razor 2 before but that felt wrong and too small. This is perfect and I actually prefer playing on it than on the big screen especially for older back catalogue games. It has probably doubled my playtime.

Knew I shouldn't have bought ea fc24 last month when it was cheap. Especially as I haven't played it yet. I didn't take the gamble on destiny so at least I have benefited there. Haven't played first ghost runner yet but will definitely try it out. Good month really

How about unlocking the vault? And giving us back everything we paid for
