Think ubisoft better leave the England setting alone, keeps killing off the franchises and requires a reboot, ac syndicate and watch dog legions. Do they dare do ghost recon, far cry or division in an English setting. Even though ac valhalla did well it caused a lot of fatigue foe ac rpgs
Will get day 1 as the improvements the pro had on ps4 games was great to me and the ps5 has been better on the ps4 games. I got such a back log of games, playing them at the best they could be is what I want.
They need to find a way to release the content vault now that they know the THE FINAL SHAPE is the end of the campaigns. They physically know the final size of the game in total. Plus they promised they would have the content come back and to my knowledge nothing has so far. I loved the game but that killed it for me.
Helldivers 2 is the only one I bought, although I do want many of the others. And that is because its a game that depends on player count verses a single player game that can be played any other time.
In fairness, the same polling audience said they weren't interested in the Portal, and it was a sellout. Same people bugged up the PSVR2 and that sold badly. Same in reality for PSVita and TV and they sold relatively bad. Point being never trust the polls
Literally completed this on Tuesday and got the platinum and didn't delete in case there was some additional playable content or at least some mention of some dlc like the first. But gonna delete now and make way for the inevitable backlog that comes with plus extra/premium
I thought wow when I saw rhe opening cinematics thinking it was in game engine. Only to be disappointed by the generic look. I know I won't be only one put off by the generic look
Was hoping it would be last years destiny expansion. I know it got panned but I'd play it for free on this service. I had previously bought all expansions but finally stopped at the last one. However as I have always bought destiny expansions, I have always wondered when they put the expansion on, what you actually get. Is it the new base game (as they stole all red campaign from us) and the expansion, or is it every expansion released up to the expansion they are giving out (again minus the ones they stole from us)
@tabris95 thanks for the clarification. I am not into turn based games so this would rule it out for me, but that is just my preference. I can't get on with the new yakuza games because of that change. I am not a big MHW combat fan either although I have seen you have to slog it out and then it finally clicks. I will try to get back in, but they are big time sink games and if your not really enjoying the immediate play, then I would rather jump onto something else
@__jamiie it has not affected first party games although I think it probably has also kept cross gen development going and that's because it has forced most third party developers to have to develop for a machine that specs wise is last gen. This has caused an underwhelming feeling this generation. Dont get me wrong, there is some great games out there and I really enjoy playing current and back catalogs of games. But you have to admit that nothing has screamed next generation because we are having the same experience as ps4. So indont want to encourage xbox to make another disjointed next generation with a lesser machine being released.
@Savage_Joe not really. Releasing on xbix series s, you have to get to it running and at a decent performance. To do this, you have to conpromise the game/vision. Steam Deck owners have to lower settings as much as possible to get it to run and with advances in pc gaming which steam was primarily targeted for, the steam deck will soon be outdated and not run more modern games. Thats the risk you run with an open system as opposed to closed console systems. Companies are not releasing games for steam deck, they are releasing for steam. Hope that makes sense in what I am saying
@Th3solution like you say, with Redfall, that was technically touted as a community multilayer game and they cancelled the build of the ps5 version. Now I don't want Redfall in hindsight bit we didn't know how it was going to turnout
I think Sony should allow it on one condition only. That it only releases on the Series X. This would put the cat amongst the pigeons. And sony could say its only serving its lower common denominator which is ps5 specs. Then xbox would have to lump it or leave it. If they lump it, then other developers will follow suit and we will soon be rid of the parasite xbox series s
Why would PlayStation want to have to spec game development for the bottom rate series S? And who would be buying on xbox? If its not on gamepass they don't sell. If 1% of xbox players bought it would be 250k total, and even games like spiderman 2 on ps5 has only sold to less than 20% of ps5 consumers so 1% is being very generous sales wise
Have to be honest, if the four games is what everyone is saying, then these games are definitely not something I am instantly interested in. I wouldn't put these on my psn wishlist, which I do once I have seen previews of other third party games. Thats not being salty or disingenuous, but I would personally originally only purchase an xbox to play gears and halo, but those were never enough for me to do so. Now they have Bethesda and Activision there would be more of an incentive to get one if their games are exclusive because they are games that have been taken away as such from the playstation ecosystem I bought into. But to reiterate I would not buy the 4 games mentioned had they been normal third party games and would not even get them in a sale, I would only try if they were on plus.
Get in, I held off need for speed as nearly everyone has come to plus at some point. AC Valhala saves me inserting disc when I start it and this is probably permanent addition now as its probably linked to ubisoft plus permanent titles. Outer worlds was another ps4 boxed game I had so now I can just download the ps5 version and start that. Have to say I feel more pressurised to play plus games before they are withdrawn rather than triple A games I purchased to play. Which is just wrong.
I bet they are doing this to elongate the story time playthrough. They will be stating its the biggest game in the franchise yet at over 20hrs of single player content. However, half of those will either be fetch quests or driving back and forth between locations to complete a mission. I stopped buying battlefield when they dropped the story mode, and I would stop buying (well waiting years for a sale) of call of duty if the campaign is a bloated mess. I really enjoy the campaigns and don't do anything else with the titles
If Microsoft left the console making business and became a publisher, I wonder what will happen to gamespass. Sony are not going to let them release other third party games on it as it would eat their sales commission and with no xbox economy, I don't think publishers will want their games on their if its not reaching the required console audience. Would Microsoft only gamespass be enticing? Love to know the attach rate of ea access on playstaion as that's the only other ganes subscription on playstation at moment
2 games on my list to get. So glad not buying abundance of games anymore... only triple aaa games now but months or years after launch. Its proving right decision
@NinjaNicky I only played and clocked story earlier this year but never did the wild runs dlc. Guess I wont go back to it now. Will just progress withe number 2 before that gers shut down
I.dont want Sony to waste resources on another handheld. They didn't support the last one after the initial year, and they now have VR that is a secondary device to concentrate on and spreading the games thin. Also as much as I liked the vita and I am assuming this is the same for the psp, the vita was bloody uncomfortable to hold and play without getting hand cramps. I invested in controller grips but the stupid back touch pad was just ridiculous and awkward to use, and you realise how much you rely on L3 and R3 when they are not there. The Portal feels awesome. It feels natural, it plays brilliantly and the screen shows a lot of detail I didn't even see on my 4k TV. As internet gets better, this will be the natural progression for consoles.
Answered used it now and then because using backbone/kishi2 is crap with a phone because of the interruptions of you know, it being a phone and people texting, emails coming in and calls. Having used the Portal yesterday, I will use remote play a hell of a lot now. It was great, detail is great and colours pop. I couldn't feel lag
No not getting another PS5 unless it's the Pro. However my PS Portal is coming Wednesday which makes far more sense for me to splash the cash on, because I would only buy a second PS5 to play in second room if main tv is being used, and that is a far cheaper option
I think all trust has gone since the vaulted content everyone paid for has not been put back into cycle like they suggested. Never mind the fact that you need that vaulted content to make sense of the story. I don't know why they release story content now the continuity has gone and can only be read anoit
@SuperSilverback ot does look. Like a reskin. The graphics to me look liked upgraded texture models placed on top of the old animations. His walking and sneaking looked off, and rhe crocodile at the end
I don't get the prices. Why is the price exchanges so out of kilter. How is the disk drive in UK more than America, yet the physical console is cheaper. Might as well order console from UK and disk drive from America as it won't be region locked
I just don't understand why Sony is not throwing money at ilusion to produce these patches. They could even sell them for a fiver if they are so concerned with money. If 10% of the owners of the games paid for the patch they would earn millions more
Love the contradictory passage For many, it's FromSoft's best work, and many more would consider it easily among the best PS4 games. Considering was just voted best game of all time, not sure how it's only among the best Ps4 games
I swear people moaning about the price haven't actually played it. If it had been a single player own game (the campaign) with the multilayer elements removed then everyone would have rated it like guardians of the galaxy, which is a one and done game. I don't do multiplayer but played this for the campaign and it was worth the price of any other normal single player experience. Just choose not to play the multi player like I do for cod and battlefield etc
