I don’t even understand why CoD is still so popular. It’s been the same slop since 2013. The only difference now is that they are using machines to develop the slop instead of humans.
This reminds me of in baseball/Hockey or whatever when they say they definitely aren’t going to fire their manager or head coach. The ominous vote of confidence.
Younger generations are buying less games because they can’t afford housing, food, or other basic necessities. People in suits blaming social media are boneheads.
Hopefully the talent that they lose goes on to open an independent studio and is able to develop games based on their own creative ideas and we are able to gain fun and unique experiences.
Big corpos with game divisions seem to be struggling and indies have been firing, IMO.
Ya know, I legit thought Xbox had decided games mattered when they launched Hi Fi Rush. Then they closed Tango. Then this company bought them and I was hoping for more games like that. Then this nonsense is constantly in the news. If I'm an employee at Tango, I am looking for another job. So much nonsense.
In 2001, I went into the library a rookie. I came out of it a grizzled veteran. To this day when I play it, I know what I am in for. To me, changing Halo is like trying to repaint the Mona Lisa. We just shouldn’t.
I think this article sort of misses the point. The fact that an indie title’s second ever game is on this list is a HUGE deal. The fact that it is on the same chart as some of the heaviest hitters is probably some of the best news the devs could get.
I guess the good news is that I’ve been practicing not buying EA stuff for a while. Now that it’s owned by actually evil people and not just cartoon evil people, I’ll not buy anything of theirs again. Watch, other major game companies are next.
This just feels like something people want to complain about. I think there are legitimate issues with performance and such, but the FOV thing seems silly to me.
Played the demo when it launched out of curiosity. I was blown away by how good it looked and how solid the performance was. Gamplay was so much fun also, so I’m buying this game.
When a large developer only offers a PC code, this is a red flag in my brain.
I hope to be wrong as I often am, but these large companies obviously have the game ready at the same time and only providing a PC code reminds me of the Cyberpunk launch.
I was sorta interested in this one, but I have to admit: In a crowded month of releases, this one doesn't even scrape the surface with the middle of the road reviews.
@Americansamurai1 What the heck is it that republicans in the US have done that has made it so people defend them so much? I do not get it. The only thing that has happened in the last 6 months is life has gotten worse for anyone who isn't a billionaire.
@Americansamurai1 The current american government gave them a reason. Otherwise they wouldn't have raised the prices. This is happening to more than just video games. Everything, even food, is more expensive because of the unintelligent people in the US.
Metaphor Refantazio was my first Atlus game with a time limit. I was nervous about it at first, but it wasn't bad at all. Personally, I prefer not having a limit, but it played well into the game. So, it sounds similar and I don't think it will be detrimental. This game looks pretty cool.
I really enjoyed the first game. I genuinely felt like I was a pioneer traversing untamed land and working with unknown other people to build a network. It was so great!
After reading this review and watching the Digital Foundry video, I am sold and I can't wait to play it.
Removal of the first party titles is so stupid. They are so half pregnant with the idea of PS Plus it’s nuts. Maybe they don’t think they can compete with Gamepass and just don’t care?
Ya know what makes me not want to buy your game? A developer who blames players for their game’s issues (even if they are minor) and then dev blames the media for statements that that said dev made.
This is a very familiar and ***** formula. I am (was) interested in No Rest For The Wicked, but maybe I’m not now. I don’t want to support lunacy.

Re: PlayStation to Publish New PS5, PC Co-Op Game from Left 4 Dead Creator
I hope it's better than Back 4 Blood was. For some reason that game just didn't land with me.
I love and still play L4D 1 and 2, so I got hope!

Re: Talking Point: If Xbox Drops the Cost, Would You Be Happy Still Paying for PS6 Multiplayer?
Xbox is a dead platform, so it may not be a fair comparison.
