Adorable pixel art angling JRPG Sea Fantasy has netted a 24th October release date on the PS5, after launching on pretty much every other platform earlier this year.
The game looks like it’s stepped straight out of the 16-bit Super Nintendo era, with a nostalgic overhead look, but its big twist is that a lot of its gameplay revolves around fishing, as glimpsed in the trailer below.
You’ll craft resources and upgrade your equipment based on the fish you catch, which will allow you to progress further in the plot.

Unfortunately, not many sites reviewed this one – it’s been a busy year – but the game has attracted very positive reviews on Steam, and looks like it’ll be a welcome addition to any JRPG fan’s library.
