Yeah I can only imagine how it’s been. I’m an Astrologer I fought him a few times around level 35 with a +3 staff before I decided to visit the south side of the map. To get enough rocks to upgrade your weapon you can find these “tunnels” that let you mine a decent amount. I also realized pretty quickly that the off-the-beaten-path bosses are much easier. None have killed me more than once or twice.

I’ve played all Soulsborne games at launch and it feels like Elden Ring is the most difficult yet IF (and it’s a big if) you don’t take the time to explore the world before attempting the main bosses. Godric the Grafted is not meant to be beaten by someone around level 30, which you can easily get to him by. For sure you’re meant to have a +7/8 weapon by that point and be 40+ with one of your atk stats sitting in the mid-high 30s.

I find this article slightly ironic considering a majority of the “I can’t play one because the other exists” comments I’ve seen have been on this site. Feels like every Elden Ring article was filled with plenty of commenters saying they had no interest in it because HFW just came out.

Outside of Scholar of the First Sin (a re-release anyways) they’ve never had a game launch on consoles with steady performance. Hopefully they can better optimize this soon and we don’t have to wait for whatever the next console iterations are to get a stable 60!

H*ll yes! Destiny has a massive amount of potential; Sony will definitely help Bungie get it to where it should be. Not to mention they’d be phenomenal for games like Killzone or Resistance.

I picked up a sealed enhanced collectors edition DUO (XB1 & PS4 included) copy of this game the other day and it came with all the extras including a 2 hour blu ray movie that had every member of the development team chiming in about what went wrong for only $1.50. When you take into account the mail in rebate Best Buy actually paid me to take it off their hands.

I pre-ordered mine but it was part of the Walmart batch that was like 10 days late. I still remember calling Walmart the day it arrived and them telling me they couldn’t find it lol. There was almost h*ll to pay!

Crazy. Outside of my own PS5 I’ve never actually seen another one in person. It was the same for the Series X; I’d never seen one before I got it on Thanksgiving Day (U.S. Holiday).

Considering it’s basically impossible to find PS5s on store shelves I’d say this message is a bit of a mute point.

Real question: is backwards compatibility something they could just patch in with an update, or does the hardware have to be built around allowing it?

Unless the suggestion was that they were gone re-release PS1-3 titles digitally, which doesn’t really seem like BC lol 😅

Sorry if you’ve already been replied to, but the Game Pass catalog changes constantly, and as long as you have a sub you don’t lose a game even if it leaves Game Pass. So even if the catalog seems weak now I almost guarantee there will be something worth $15/month getting added shortly.

That being said I don’t sub to it either because I can’t stand subscription services. If they added the World of Warcraft subscription to Game Pass though I’d have no reason not to get it.

I got really into Duel Links for maybe a month before realizing you’ll hit an absolute wall without dishing out money. Such a shame because I like playing it more than Pokémon or Magic.

Well my most played games of all time are World of Warcraft, the Witcher 3, Breath of the Wild, and Fallout: New Vegas so I guess I’d say hundreds of hours lol.

The irony here is that if you want that kind of experience Xbox Series X will give you the best chance at getting it. I’ll be waiting for performance reviews before choosing which platform to get it on.

Can’t believe it’s been a year! What a crazy year it’s been too lol.

Anyways I played this game about 80% of the way through before putting it down. Then when I picked it back up again I made a new character; got maybe 20% of the way in and put it down again.

I like the story and gameplay but the world itself felt kind of lifeless to me, and I didn’t care much for the loot system.

IMO they should’ve leaned harder into how they did things with the Witcher 3. Give us great side stories and leave all the tedious tasks as question marks that can be explored if you feel like it, so they’re not as distracting.

Unfortunately it looks terrible. Huge DB fan and I gotta say this looks like a complete miss

No. I love the direction they went in with MW2019, but Cold War was too big of a step backwards, and Vanguard doesn’t feel like a big enough step forwards. Oh well 🤷‍♂️ The best part about CoD is it’s the definition of “there’s always next year”

CDPR will never release a game without delaying it at least once ever again.
