Sigh, sure it's has impressive bells and whistles but colour palette and general art direction is generic. Impressive rendering does not equal a good looking game, this can be added to the pile of other boring looking looter shooters. Little snippet of gameplay looked interesting but not holding my breath
Very informative and clear review, Robert! Enjoyed reading it; seems like the game is worth picking up. I'll probably wait until it's on sale and I'm in the mood for a slower paced game.
@Mikey856 nope, that's at the developer's discretion and is why there's a wide range of prices on the store. 70 euro or the regional equivalent was pushed by Sony and 2k, amongst others, and it has now settled as the AAA price point. I think there was also an additional bump in the price in the UK, if you were to do the conversion of new and old price to euro, due to Brexit
I can't believe they're charging 70 euro for this. A systems driven game that will most likely be an absolute churn and grind to earn resources with little in the way of hooks besides "make the numbers go bigger". Certain that this will be F2P within a year, but interesting to see how much of a marketing push they try
I found Danganronpa 2 to have a suuuuper slow opening, is it as slow as that (if you have experience with that game)? I want this game to be good so bad, as I love Digimon but have no interest in the other games focus on grindy RPGness. Hope it begins to really take off, the game looked special when it was first revealed and I hope it retained it!!
Wow wow wow, I assumed this title was a sure bet given how the avatar film has been delayed several times. I thought this was in polishing phase of the last few months in preparation for the film. An early summer release perhaps?
Most of my office is on holidays so the remaining 4 of us gathered in the lounge to play it for half an hour! Really lovely, we lost our minds when the cats CNA interact with each other 😅 might become a lunch time regular for the next week
Looks cool, I hope they diverge a little from the Dangonrompa formula and add their own twists and subversions. Wild that this is being made in Finland, I live here and will have to look up the studio!!
I mean it is just ridiculous that there's no trophies, and that these extras are for select games. Always the bare minimum with PlayStation on the service side 🤦♂️
This looks... very mediocre. It just screams that it's games as a service- spongey characters and uniteresting, weak attacks. None of that combat seems weighty or interesting. If you compare it to Arkham Asylum, it has little personality, bad looking combat, and pretty uninterestingly designed open world. I just look at it and know the suits have had their hands all over it, the poor devs. A hard no from me
One problem with a other with the Ps Store on Vita; absolutely unacceptable. So annoyed with Sony constantly not giving a flying tuppence about the handheld
@thefourfoldroot i remember several years ago recieving 6 games a month 😰 Maybe they describe it as a bonus but it's essentially part of the service; the expectation when it dropped to two games would be we'd get high quality games every month which has been broken many times
I voted Uncharted 3, some fantastic sequences. Followed by Lost legacy and 2. Just this week I Platinumed Golden Abyss and that's actually a pretty competent and fun game! Super surprised by how much fun I had revisiting it
Brevity is the soul of wit! Far too many games try to pad their run time. Shorter experiences are for definite my preference, with 30 hours being my max for pretty much any game. Anything beyond that becomes a slog even if I have been enjoying it
I have an Irish account, living in Finland btw if it helps anyone. I've never had an issue like this. I'm travelling around Christmas time so hopefully I can access it from the few countries I'm visiting

Re: Swashbuckling Pirate Sim Skull & Bones Is 'Not a Narrative-Driven Game'
@Mikey856 Sony doesn't set the price for 3rd party games, so it is Ubisoft selling it for a premium

Re: Do You Really Love The PS Vita? Now You Can Get One Framed

Re: PS Plus, PS Now Merged Service Revealed, Goes Live in June
Question; why do ye leave out the euro prices in all articles? The euro prices are in the original article and ye chose to remove them?? Odd
Re: Poll: Will You Subscribe to Sony's New PS Plus?
Has no one else noticed that we'll only be receiving 2 games a month on the Essential tier going forward? Removing benefits slowly but steadily
Re: Ghostwire: Tokyo (PS5) - Not the Bethesda Swansong We Hoped For
"Sadly, however, none of the story beats their dialogue pertains to hit."
That's a very strange sentence. Anyways, back to reading

Re: Poll: What's the Best Uncharted Game?
I voted Uncharted 3, some fantastic sequences. Followed by Lost legacy and 2.
Just this week I Platinumed Golden Abyss and that's actually a pretty competent and fun game! Super surprised by how much fun I had revisiting it

Re: With the Steam Deck Announced, This Is What a Next-Gen PSP Could Be
If Sony released a handheld that could play ps4 games and charged 600 euro I would buy it. Totally worth it
Re: Soapbox: Why I'm Less Excited for Deathloop on PS5 Than I Should Be
I feel like this is a bit of a silly take honestly. Don't have a PS5 but Deathloop is certainly my most anticipated title to play on it when I do!
