Re: PS5 Players Seemingly Skip Marathon as Sales Estimates Look Very Weak

Sanquine

@GeeEssEff @Northern_munkey Me and Northern Munkey are having a blast as I would say there is no better shooter on the market right now. For those that wish this game to fail and bungie to close. Wait for the following singleplayer studio to close down as well such as Housemarque as only God of War, TLoU, GoT/ GoY and Spider-Man sold viable numbers for a singleplayer game (I will buy Saros but don’t expect it to be profitable).

Re: Review in Progress: Marathon (PS5) - Bungie's Extraction Shooter Is Brilliant, and It Only Gets Better

Sanquine

I love this game as many already have seen. The shooting is in my opinion the best in the market right now. I presume the naysayers have not played this game because it’s addictive.

EDIT: Why are people now complaining again. First Pushsquare did not publish a review… Now they somewhat did with a review in progress (very normal btw see IGN) and now everyone is still blasting it because the reviewer likes it…

Re: 'We're Discussing Ways to Improve': Marathon Dev Tweaking Monetisation and Difficulty as FPS Fails to Blow Up

Sanquine

The game is fantastic as it is! Difficulty? My vault is overflowing and I consider myself a noob (just level 9). On my friends list 9 people are playing it constantly so steam does not show the complete picture. Also most of the time I am offline because I have three kids or are working during the day. I think many older gamers have the same issues and will only be online during the evening.

Re: Site News: Where's Our Marathon PS5 Review?

Sanquine

@LogicStrikesAgain This! Their hands-on already gave a preview.

EDIT: The first thing that happened is that the naysayers immediately pointed out the writer was positive about concord. So if there was a review and it was positive there would be outrage

Re: Site News: Where's Our Marathon PS5 Review?

Sanquine

@GeeEssEff @Juanalf Pushsquare can always do a review in progress. My point to most people in the comment section is that they don’t care about the score. It’s just outrage for the sake of it. I think GeeEssEff summarised it perfectly: “ They simply want a score so they can either berate Push Square for being biased if high or "Hooray Live Service flops again" if low”.

Edit; Bungie asked it politely as push also commented it’s not mandatory. It’s their choice (see comment of Sammy).

Re: Site News: Where's Our Marathon PS5 Review?

Sanquine

@RedRiot193 Why do you even care about the review score? Even if Push gave it a 9 you would do any mental gymnastics to say it’s dog *****.

EDIT: This comment applies to the majority of the commenters. You do not like Marathon from the start so a review score won’t change your mind. Most people on here are just jumping on this bandwagon of hate to be cool (if singleplayers are your thing buy them in higher volume…. Otherwise sony would not need that GaaS money.. Talk is cheap though)

Re: Site News: Where's Our Marathon PS5 Review?

Sanquine

@trev666 This is complete *****. If you read the article it says:

” It’s important to underline that this is not a mandate or a requirement”

Moreover, typically pushsquare takes their time reviewing because we see this type of article (where is our review) pretty often.

Re: Site News: Where's Our Marathon PS5 Review?

Sanquine

@Northern_munkey Well we did get ambushed for three times in a row after we were softened up a lot by the AI… Luckily I am better in this than ARC🥲

I don’t understand people because the shooting is some of the best in the market right now . The AI flanks us most of the time and the graphics are awesome. This generation has really lost their mind because when I was young I would be all over this with my friends

Re: Site News: Where's Our Marathon PS5 Review?

Sanquine

@BentIeyma This. I always wonder where these people are coming from. I propose to those people to play their type of game (like supporting bluepoint with not purchasing Demon’s souls) instead of commenting for the 20th time they dislike something.

Re: Hands On: Marathon Is Dense, Demanding, and Drop Dead Gorgeous

Sanquine

@PuppetMaster No, this guy gets paid per negative comment. Steam figures averages around 50k (70k last night now dipped this morning to 32k but is now again around 40k. I observed the same trend yesterday that during the day it increases to 60-70k). I think PS figures should be comparable or higher (because it’s a Sony studio… although a lot of folks think Sony should only focus on single player and therefore refuse to play this).. It’s never around concord level as the max players during beta was 4K for that game

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 622

Sanquine

PS5:

I got the platinum for Spider-Man 2. Great game and scratches my collection everything on the map itch.

Singleplayer: restarted Kingdom Come Deliverance. This time investing sufficient time in the combat 😅

Multiplayer: Marathon mainly. As many already know I love the game (shooting is wonderful). On the side some battlefield 6.
