@UltimateOtaku91 Is it too much to be critical? How much did change compared to GoT: Iki island? I think it's not very nice to attack people who are complaining by the lack of change and saying that we buy reskinned other games.

@Coffeeglitch Same, in the process of becoming a dad for the third time and something needs to be really special for me to purchase it on release. When I was younger I purchased every PS exclusive (including GoT) but time is limited

@LogicStrikesAgain I bought the PS5 pro so I don’t complain about new consoles but it do expect more from a Sony first party.

@AdamNovice maybe the leap from horizon:ZD to Horizon: FW? GOT was far from perfect.

@Coffeeglitch Funny, in referred to your comment in the chat. It felt like a reskin and seen it all. It’s also so weird seeing the leap from Horizon: zero dawn to forbidden west and then GOT to this game. It feels they are sort of happy not to invest further into the technology

As someone said in the comments. I sort of feels DLC… Maybe it’s my brain but it does not look that good… if I compare this to GOW: Ragnarok or TLOU2 it seems ok visually. After Iki I was also burned out of GoT

@graymamba Understood I was not discussing your view that there are not enough players. Only that there are examples of games that are successful (escape from tarkov is niche I know).

I have not touched my consoles in a month. During the week in work a lot in the evenings, while in the weekends in spend time with the kids or going to a bar in the evening with the lads. Am I the only one that just don’t find the time anymore 🥲

I bought the first kingdom come deliverance. I under estimated how difficult the combat can be. Also playing astrobot again

@VanguardKaiser What’s wrong with X? I’m not a user but having such strong feelings about anything borders on unhealthy.

I fall in the category that it’s enough. I finished Horizon Zero Dawn (excellent game), Horizon Forbidden West (good game, but copy past of big bad AI) and Horizon Call of the Mountain (Vomit fest due to amount of ghosting). The writing in the last main game (forbidden west) was really bad imho and totally destroyed any hype I had for a sequel.

EDIT: I am beginning to dislike Pushsquare for the bait articles. It seems to me that the writer also dislikes other opinions (and pushsquare in general) as the bans are given left and right. Just close the comments if you dislike opinions other than yours.

Ps5: I bought Hogwarts legacy on sale and I’m really enjoying it more than I thought. Also playing Resident Evil 4 remake and I want to replay Astrobot

I plan to finish dead space remake. After that I want to replay astrobot with my daughter. In my own time Resident evil 4 remake and will buy Hogwarts legacy as it’s on sale.

I think that the lower scoring reviews expected a wolvenstein type game (shooting nazis) instead of typical Indy game

@Fiendish-Beaver @IslandLogic Or we do not care? Microsoft a far bigger company could buy Activision blizzard and only had to spinoff hosting to Ubisoft. Do you except the same scrutiny with Sony compared to Microsoft (AB)? I think people who moan about Monopoly need to have a good look at Disney and Microsoft (when American companies do this they get a free pass)

@DarthCvrle66 Maybe learn what Microsoft does in other sectors? They want a near monopoly in every business they get into so that sweet SaaS subscription prices (recurring revenue) can increase significantly. This has occurred in hosting but also operating systems (with hosting you can only choose Microsoft, Amazon or some Chinese party forgot what the name is)

@carlos82 @UnlimitedSevens as Carlos said almost no reprojection in GT7. It also feels to me it’s running at a much higher framerate(much smoother), as when I slipped in a corner i did not notice it that much (with PS5 you could get nauseous).

With Resident evil village 4 effects like water but also the overall image is less noisy (sharper).

Other games I did not play yet.

Love it, especially RE4 on PSVR2 which is a lot sharper now (same for GT7)

@ThatOneSneak I do understand why Microsoft wants to purchase another company. It’s a buy and build strategy and it’s normal for companies with a SaaS mode (software as a service). I think MS wants to diversify their portfolio because it’s western developers.

I hope this goes through in order to see the meltdown of Xbox fans (mainly the usual suspects on Purexbox who become financial experts when it comes to Sony) who gave millions of reasons why the AB acquisition of Microsoft was good for the industry.

@MeanBeanEgg This! The usual suspects on purexbox will now say that Sony does not have sufficient funds or that exclusives don’t sell as reason for Sony not buying this company, whilst celebrating when Microsoft does an acquisition.

Smart move Sony, Lets borrow Guerillas engine for a game that releases on Xbox. I never bought the game as the gameplay just seem boring to me (so maybe it’s also part my fault haha).

I voted Astrobot were possible 😊 especially sound design is out of this world!!! Levels like retro rampage illustrate this so much (like punching LEGO)

The first game was fantastic. Forbidden west was pretty but the story was just bland. It does not also help that Aloy is always a very grumpy character (resulting in me disliking the character). After the second game I was done with Horizon as a franchise (also going from one AI as world ending event to another AI going rogue… )

@Ludacritz Indeed, bring on the hotsprings. I don’t understand people opposing to playing a female lead (better to look at imo)
