Re: PS5 Showpiece Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Jumps to the PC Dimension in July

Sanquine

@Jacko11 The reason we are crying is because Playstation isn’t currently really investing in new PS5 exclusives. Every announcement except Spider-Man is also PC. In addition, we all believed the marketing from super SSD speed not being possible any where else (the rifts). I think the outrage from a part of the PS community including me is that the showcase was a total disappointment (leadership is also really out of touch)

Edit: for me also the lack of communication regarding PSVR2 games is really hurting the image of Sony/PlayStation. The dislike I have for current leadership is also pushing me to the other side for next generation (team Green for all third party, the exclusives for next PS and ofcourse Team N for their exclusives… but primary console for third party will definitely be team green)

Re: Rumour: Naughty Dog's Troubled The Last of Us Multiplayer PS5 Project Was Sniped by Bungie

Sanquine

Hmm makes sense…. Never played something from Bungie as every game after halo was Destiny right? Always felt like a game you can only play while neglecting the remainder of your game collection. Same reason why I never played fortnite or Apex Legends.

I do however played all naughty dog games… maybe Sony is not interested in people like me as I’m no person who purchases additional skins etc.

Re: Sony Significantly Scales Back Development of The Last of Us Multiplayer for PS5, Says Report

Sanquine

@Intr1n5ic @NEStalgia Leave NEStalgia alone. We need people like him who criticise Sony. Let’s face it Sony from the PS3/PS4 era is gone. Jim Ryan and Hermen only care about that sweet GAAS money. This is illustrated by Jim’s passion to block the takeover of AB. He only cares about the royalties they receive thanks to Call of duty Battle Royale (sorry I don’t know what the battle royale name is..).

Re: Sony Significantly Scales Back Development of The Last of Us Multiplayer for PS5, Says Report

Sanquine

Pfff I don’t know how I feel about this. I really liked the Last of Us Part 2. I also liked the idea of factions but with story elements. Shame that Sony is listening to Bungie…. The moment I saw every couple of months a new expansion was the moment I decided to never purchase/play any destiny as it’s a timesink.

Off topic: I miss the days when expansions were like new games. I remember Command and Conquer tiberian sun :firestorm very fondly… Shame Westwood died for the same reasons a lot of first party studio’s died… one mistake (Evolution studios, Zipper)

Re: Feature: PlayStation Showcase Biggest Winners and Losers

Sanquine

Winner:
1. Final fantasy as the release date is near my birthday.
2. Spider-Man 2: I loved the first one and MM expansion. Really digging that Peter is influenced by the symbiote!

Loser:

  • PSVR2 although I’m really exited for Arizona,RE 4 remake and beat saber (will buy it as my wife loves rhytm games).
  • PlayStation studios: how does it feel that Imsomniac is literally PlayStations Atlas. The other studio’s should have a good look at insomniac (Spider-Man remastered, Spider-Man miles morales, ratchet and clank a rift apart and now Spider-Man 2)

Re: Here's Exactly What Newly Revealed PS5, PC Game Concord Is

Sanquine

@AdamNovice Nothing wrong with a good multiplayer game but this and the stealing from the riches game just seem to early to show (and feels a lot like Ubisoft). Additionally, how difficult is it to ask the PS community what type of multiplayer they want (I’m really into Killzone, Battlefield Bad company, Socom)

Re: Here's Exactly What Newly Revealed PS5, PC Game Concord Is

Sanquine

How difficult is to create a live service game that interest Sony games:
1. Warhawk remake
2. killzone remake or just like apex legends (which is derived from Titanfall)
3. Call of duty/ battlefield competitor—> killzone/ socom

Off topic: feels like Sony is trying multiple GAAS games to see what sticks and be the next fortnite…. Good luck with that as people only have x amount of time to invest.. really miss the ps2/3 era😓

Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?

Sanquine

For me Microsoft can have Activision Blizzard. I invested a lot in the PS5 and just two weeks in PSVR2 but it seems Sony only has either third party or GAAS games (except Spider-Man). Shame really… also got really irritated that they showed the GT movie..

Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?

Sanquine

Voted terrible. After two years of waiting this ugly Gordon Ramsey gave us a lot of third party and almost no first party and VR2 love. I just purchased a PSVR2 and hoped to see Astro or something.

Things I’m excited about are:
Helldivers 2
Final fantasy 16 (launching near my bday)
RE remake VR mode (but was it full VR or not?)
Spider-Man (other first party companies should be ashamed of themselves how much insomnia kicks their ass)
Arizona sunshine (but again where is Astro?)

Re: Horizon Vocalist Receives Abuse Over the Use of Her Voice

Sanquine

@Heavy_Artilery Like having a boring main character. I’m still hoping someone can give me a better open world than Witcher 3 ( yeah I know Zelda ais great but has not such good quests and worldbuilding)

EDIT: To be clear I do not agree with gamers harassing someone because of their narrow worldview and values

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 476

Sanquine

PSVR2: GT7, Horizon CoM and RE: Village. It’s really an eye opener.

EDIT: GT7 is amazing in VR. it’s like I’m racing in the supercars themself. Also almost no woozy feeling.

Think I will restart Zelda BOTW as I never got finished it ( was under levelled or did not have any good gear). As some lizards with shock/lighting weapons killed me like 20 times resulting in me rage quiting

Re: Mini Review: Another Fisherman's Tale (PSVR2) - A Charming VR Sequel to a Charming VR Game

Sanquine

I just received my PSVR2 but after playing resident evil village I’m a little bit nauseous. Do any of you guys have tips on the following:
1. Image is sometimes blurry. I adjusted it multiple times through recalibration but sometimes it’s still a little bit blurry (especially RE: village)
2. How to get over this feeling. Does it get better? Or have I just spent 600 euro on a vomit machine (mind you this is my first time VR).
3. Is it me or does VR feel more like a workout than expected? Horizon feels like I’m literally climbing mountains (in an exhausting way haha).

Happy weekend you guys

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 475

PS5: Witcher 3: hearts of stone. I don’t want to finish the main story line so I will buy the other expansion.
PS5: The last of us part 2. Maybe it’s controversial but I really like this game. I know Joel and Ellie’s story was fantastic but the gameplay of part 2 is so much better.

Upcoming; next month I finally have enough funds to buy PSVR2 . Any recommendations?

Happy weekend all!
