@Northern_munkey I found the story of Horizon ZD fantastic. The second game went in the wrong direction imho (love the gameplay but storywise…)

@CrackmanNL Factions in TLOU was fantastic. Horizon also still needs to prove themselves. Only played Killzone 3 which was an okay online experience.. Killzone 2 was lightening in a bottle

@HonestHick Agree about Sony not having the money to afford mistakes. MS can fund the whole gaming industry with their profits from Azure alone.

@ZeD Hopefully the bubble bursts! I miss the times when Ubisoft was known for Rayman (the first one was magical). Also games like Sly Cooper, Oddworld and Spyro can come back (instead of the ultra realistic graphics)

I don’t think Apple is interested in such low profit margins. Also if they were interested they would already be in the market right now!

Lastly, not only Sony’s margins are thin. I expect that to be the same for Microsoft. Otherwise they wouldn’t release 4 titles on other platforms (sorry had to say this as you are more a Xbox guy 😛)

What’s happening is unsustainable budgets for games resulting in unachievable sales needed to break even or better yet to make profit.

Why don’t be a good sport and quiet. Multiple developers could have kept their job when you quiet (your salary must be x million). They are the bread and butter of Playstation. You are just a supporting role such as HR.

You watch all these videos about PSVR2 without even owning one and parrot all the negativity… You seem to be a pretty annoying person if all you do is spouting negativity while not owning the right to do so (I invested money in it… your not even a consumer /PSVR2 owner)

@VaultGuy415 CotM is a work out and for some reason the only game that makes me wanna vomit (I think it’s due reprojection)

I was really happy with mine thanks to GT7 (also bought a Fanatec wheel and pedals) and now light brigade. I must say that I’m disappointed by the development pipeline (total absence of one) of Sony. One mediocre vomit inducing Horizon game (why not Killzone VR?)

Sony is really not investing it as much as they were with PSVR1… Its got the VITA vibes I love it but Sony just hates supporting it and wants it dead

@TrickyDicky99 Please share the videos with him saying that and I will watch them. Yesterday he posted his 1 year after review of PSVR2 and was still a fan of the device. Really good at cherry picking and not talking about any positives.

Let’s be clear PSVR2 is awesome but Sony dropped it harder than the Vita. I love it but where is my Astrobot? Sony lack of support is the thing that bites and not the type of lense (yes I know sweet spot is very small blabla)

This game is really fantastic! I tried it on the ps4 but i think the loading times were a lot longer. Moreover, after playing a lot of VR games (RE:village, light brigade and Walking dead saints and sinners) the game is not spooky anymore (still what’s up with the dogs in this game… harder hitting than bosses).

@mac_da_man @dschons How is synapse? And how is Arizona Sunshine 2? I bought the walking dead but I just hate how weapons don’t seem to connect with the zombies..

PSVR2: Light brigade ❤️ really enjoying it while dying like 50 times already. The enemy hits hard.

@mariomaster96 Totally forgot about FF16 (but that’s third party) and I expect Spider-Man 2 to be ported to pc in the near future. Still need to buy Spider-Man 2 but MM for me was a major disappointment (did not like miles and his companion compared to Peter)

@__jamiie This! How many truly PS5 exclusives are there? Many games are cross gen.. the only game that’s really exclusive is demon’s souls (love that game, hopefully bluepoint remasters Bloodborne)

OT: I would buy it but I also got burned by Sony with the Vita (and PSVR2… although I bought the light brigade and it’s brilliant.. it’s becoming my GT7 and light brigade machine).

That puppet was clearly a copy of Mimir of GoW..

Maybe I am missing something but most games were not stellar.. except stellar blade.. Metro for VR is nice though.

Also maybe it’s me but Rise of the ronin looks uglier than GoT?

Better be a good PSVR2 game. I really like the device but it seems Sony pushes this thing even less then vita. Currently, it’s saved by a large amount of backlog (in my case, still need to buy synapse and light brigade) and GT7.

OT: shame for the guys and girls who lost their jobs. But as people mentioned when M&A happens the new owner will look into cutting costs. Mostly these are supporting roles such as HR or Finance

Maybe is missed something but:

In the first helldivers the factions were bugs, advanced squid people and cyborgs. They changed it to automatons and deleted the squad people?

P4G, definitely my most played vita game. I remember playing it when I was still studying. Played that game till 5am in the morning multiple times 😊

PSVR2:GT7

Gaming time has been short due to my son being born #proud dad 😊

PSVR2: GT7 and Resident evil Village. Village starts really slow but after that it really opens up.

Switch: Mario party with the misses. Next weeks maybe not a lot of gaming since I’m becoming a dad again😊

PS5: God of War: Ragnarok Valhalla —> Fantastic game really missed Mimir (smartest man alive)

PSVR2: Gran Turismo 7, VR really elevated this game for me. This in combination with my wheel and pedals and you’ve got an awesome experience

Now with Christmas looking whether to buy Resident evil 4 (mainly for VR),Spider-Man 2, Arizona sunshine 2, Bulders gate 3 or Alan Wake 2 (never bought the first one).. I know what a list (will definitely buy Blood & Wine expansion for Witcher 3).

Also bought a good whiskey 🥃. Happy gaming all!

EDIT: They changed it on Netflix as you may know. Henry Cavill had a lot of discussions with the writers because of this.

Yet to buy Spider-Man 2 but I will promise one thing. I won’t by Spider-Man 3 if they got further with this Netflix direction.
