Sunset Overdrive in 17th is criminal. Just feels right to hit PS after Insomniac were purchased by Sony

It would be nice if Sunset Overdrive got a PS release. I really enjoyed it, felt it went a bit underrated and now that Insomniac are one of PS top studios, it just seems right to me for it to hit PS.

Makes you wonder if we will even see Switch 2 this year, with the current console still going gangbusters.

I honestly find it crazy its still topping the charts after all this time and has sold over 139million units.

Its also good to see some PS software in the charts like the article mentions, competition is king

@ChrisDeku and its half of Granblue Fantasy 115,000 or a tiny fraction of Pal Worlds 2.1million. As a steam numbers novice, it just seemed fairly conservative when compared to some of the other releases this year which have been reported on.

But thanks for offering some additional perspective, appreciate it.

Is 50,000 a good result for steam concurrent players on day 1? Maybe its just Pal Worlds 2.1million concurrent players reported last week that makes it seem very low?

Considering Days gone launched in a technical mess and reviewed distinctly average, that is not as reassuring as he thinks it is, but I appreciate the sentiment.

Ninja Gaiden 3 Razers Edge. I play at least 1 of the NG games every year, because they have the best combat in any game ever.

Seems kind of pointless when you have devices like the rog ally and steam deck.

Why limit yourself to a Sony device, when you can play almost anything on an Ally, as they launch their games on steam.

With a 3rd party device you can play Sony games and everything else with emulators. A much better proposition and that is before you even mention sonys appalling track record of supporting devices outside of its core home console (Vita and psvr as 2 recent examples)

Best game of the show for me and one of my most hyped games for the whole year. Ninja Gaiden, Nioh, Wo Long are all awesome.

Got me hyped. Just please be a game and a movie and not a strange hybrid. This could be superb

Ronin continues to have me hyped. I was hyped for the new Kojima announcement until they mentioned movie/game then it died a little. Not really much else but Judas (as a big Bioshock fan) butnot every game has to be for me, so a solid enough show

I get Sony do not have a say in the gamepass deal, but they could at the very least make the same deal and put it on their own sub aswell, try and give some value back to their customers and not have such bad optics over the years.

PS plus really needs to improve alot to be in the same league as gamepass. It's nowhere near at the minute and some day 1 deals like that would get me to resubscribe. As a multiplatform gamer it's not even a contest on which service gets my money

If Ronin ends up being what I hope, a kind of ghost of tsushima with Nioh combat difficulty and depth, this should be awesome.

Having reading the comments above, after the Blizzard info and now this, it feels like there's more MS news than Sony news on Push at the minute...

Even one of the sources you linked (techraptor) mentions that they are working on an Xbox game, in the title and text of their article, so why did you edit all that out and not mention it?

I did predict pre launch it would not even sell as well as psvr1, as a lot of people got stung on psvr1 with motion sickness (Like myself - One of my most regrettable purchases ever) and a lack of any killer game.

PSVR2 was destined to fail even before the questionable launch (zero hype, not sold in stores etc) and not because its a bad product, but because VR is nowhere near ready for mass market appeal and a huge number of people have absolutely no interest in it at all

I tried the man erased his name and found it dull as dishwater and did not make it to the end. I Really wish I could get into this series, but every time I try, I just can't seem to enjoy them. I am a huge fan of Shenmue as well, so you would think these games would click, but they do not.

And as a side note: How are we ever going to stop getting fleeced as customers, when Sega's shady practises are brushed over every time by the media and the game scores highly regardless. We get what we deserve to be honest

This is a remaster in name only. They did not remaster anything. They ported it to Ps5 with a little extra content. It's not even a remaster, Digital Foundry confirmed it's exactly the same. This guy comes across as completely out of touch

I recently finished part 2 on PS5 and while I enjoyed the game, it was way to long and boring and a step down from Part 1 (It was in my top 5 most played games last year)

I just watched the Digital Foundry video and I cant believe it is exactly the same with no visual enhancements. This must take the prize for most pointless remaster ever. Please stop remastering games that do not need it, this game is not even 4 years old! Just stop

I mentioned this the other day but I have had 3 dualsence, 2 white and 1 starlight blue. Never got more than 4 hours charge at most out of any of them. 12hours is still poor compared to the competition. Two of them broke due to the RT snapping and going floppy. Between drift, poor battery and breaking triggers the dualsence has been a massive step backwards after the dualshock 4. I do like the rumble but the adaptive triggers are awful and just get in the way

Honestly just a better showcase please. We didn't get one for like 2 years and then last years was terrible and we may aswell not have had one. Really looking forward to Ronin from Team Ninja

Stop playing predatory games that have no respect for you. Live service games are a cancer on the industry and instead of making excuses for them, people should call them out and stop supporting them. Same goes for gacha games.

That means stop buying from the stores, and stop playing the games at all, or things will continue to get worse and worse. If you play these games you are telling devs and publishers that this sort of thing is fine, and nothing will ever get better for us the consumer. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

The dualshock 4 is far superior to the dualsence. I am on my 3rd dualsence as both my previous controllers the springs have snapped in the RT. Its extra annoying as I hate the adaptive triggers, as they just get in the way, especially when playing difficult games (as I tend to alot) The battery life has also been a major disappointment, and the longest I have ever got out of a charge being approx. 4 hours with the triggers turned off, really nowhere near good enough

I do like the rumble, but overall the dualsence is a massive step down from the Dualshock 4

Only one I am interested in buying day 1 is Ronin, please don't make it casual friendly, and keep to your roots team ninja

Ronin is my most anticipated PS5 game this year, love Team Ninja.

Wo Long was a really great game. Team Ninja are the combat masters. Glad to see others enjoyed it as much as me

Still going with Cyberpunk on ps5. Lvl 40, reflex and cool build with a bit of net running. Really enjoying the game and I am not usually a huge open world fanatic

76 is hugely improved since launch and deserved to be mentioned in the same breath asno man's sky and cyberpunk when it comes to a redemption arc.

I am not a big 76 player, or any multiplayer title really. But credit where credit is due, they have done a really good job fixing and improving the game and its turned into a pretty popular game

The end of is kotick is great news. Finally something we can all agree on regarding the merger, it's a Christmas miracle!

The slide titled "leapfrog" is very interesting, it's basically an internal document with Sonys thought on ATVI.

Sad to see Ratchet and Clank lost money, I enjoyed that game with my son and got the Platinum. Happy to see another one is still planned as Marvel is not really my thing, and Insomniac seem to be the Marvel studio now.

Cyberpunk on ps5. 3rd time starting it as previously i could not get into it due to bugs and all the widely reported poor systems like the police.

Really enjoying it this time and could end up being one of top 20 all time games. Just alot of fun
