Koei Tecmo do publish on xbox mate, what are you saying lol. Things like Dynasty Warriors, Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, Warriors Orochi, Wo Long etc etc. They even publish on gamepass day 1 like Wo Long

Grainger games, Blockbuster, EB, Gamestop have all closed for good near(ish) to me.

5 GAME stores have closed within 45minutes and we are left with 2 completely pointless tiny satellite shops in Sports Direct stores that sell more Funko pops than games.

Tesco, Sainsburys etc no longer sell games in store

The only brick and mortar stores i can think of that still sell games are Currys and Smyths and the sections are not good

As someone who still buys and prefers physical media, the writing is sadly on the wall. Its going to end up like PC gaming in the not too distant future

Yes there was. The original contract was for COD and all other ABK games, the one that was signed only included COD. It was well reported, not sure how you missed it tbh.

Jim Ryan turned down the all games contract and decided to fight the merger, and ended up signing a COD only contract once he burned all his bridges...

I am as happy as anyone that the live service game crashed and burned, my only concern is the amount of resources they have already took from single player games.

This perfectly explains the radio silence and poor showcases for the last couple of years.

It's what alot of us had feared, that they are not holding everything back or saving stuff for after the ABK deal closes, they just have nothing to show and only live service garbage in the pipeline

Judging by the comments above, they succeeded in fanning the flames once again (and i guess alot of people didnt read the article properly or check the sources.)

I just expected alot better from Pushsquare, but I have noticed them starting to do this more and more recently, and I am not a fan of misinformation. Its another reason why the comment sections are getting worse and worse, as the content is actively encouraging it.

It says "ps now can help support the game gaining relevance" not that ps now saved the game. Infact nowhere in the email does it say that..so I'm not sure where you got the headline from, at all

The title of the original article you linked on thegamer seems way more accurate "Phil Spencer Considered Ditching Fallout 76" infact they never mention PlayStation saving the game at all in the original article...

The in perpetuity bit means they will always have the rights for those 15years worth of games, not that the deal lasts longer than 15years. It just means they don't lose the rights to those games after 15years.

But after 15years, the streaming rights for new games not in the 15 year agreement go to Microsoft and any other games in the future

@CielloArc one to check the new remedies, one for the final decision, as mentioned in the article. The leak was irrelevant to this decision as the CMA will already have had acceess to all the information from the leak for months and months

Microsoft dont need to buy Ubisoft.

They get the streaming rights back automatically in 15years for free. The Ubisoft deal is only for 15years not forever

First one was awesome, some of the best magic I have ever used in a game. The dlc was good aswell

Wo Long was easily one of my favourite games of the year. Enjoyed every minute of it, but I have not started any of the DLCs yet

It includes physical and digital and there is nothing more reliable or accurate for Europe. It had a huge launch, that's what the data proves, nothing like the picture you tried to paint

I support console manufacturers buying other devs/publishers to help them compete or fill a gap in their portfolio. But I would draw the line here. Console manufacturers should not be allowed to purchase each other, and i doubt they would be allowed to by regulators, as it would be very bad for the industry. We need all 3 console manufacturers to be strong in the market. Competition is kind. Lucky this seems like just a nothing corporate email, and not something that will be happening in the near future, so that's a little reassuring

Gyro and better rumble would be cool, but please do not copy the triggers, they are awful!

I got the platinum for spiderman but could not bring myself to even finish miles as it was just more of the same and I got bored. Let's hope this one adds a bit more variety and isn't so "ubisoft"

It was a good show, FF7 looks good. But was anything noteworthy really announced? It was more updates to games we have seen before several times. It's what stopped the show being anything more than meh/good

We are still waiting for some kind of roadmap after no showcase last year, 2 SoP and a showcase this year. It's bizarre

I really wanted to see more of Ronin and Pragmata. They are my most hyped PS games
