We’re afraid to report that, following the devastating ransomware attack on Insomniac Games, assets from Marvel’s Wolverine are beginning to appear online. Due to the criminal nature of this situation, we won’t be discussing any of the leaks here on Push Square. However, this is a warning that if you wish to avoid spoilers for the upcoming release, you may want to mute certain keywords on your social media accounts.

Allegedly, over 1.67 terabytes of data were taken from the Sony first-party studio, spanning over 1.3 million files. In addition to game footage and concept art, there’s also the personal information of employees, purportedly including passports, employment forms, and internal chat logs.

When news of the ransomware attack emerged, the Japanese giant issued the following statement: “We are aware of reports that Insomniac Games has been the victim of a cyber security attack. We are currently investigating this situation. We have no reason to believe that any other SIE or Sony divisions have been impacted.”
