Before, when you had to draw a sheep, you'd look in books, magazines and later on Google to find a reference. Nobody would bat an eye if you'd draw an exact copy of that. But it's still the work of another photographer.
So if you use an ai-generated sheep, it's composed out of thousands of transformed images that don't resemble any originals.
The problem is when the generated stuff is sold as (or as a replacement for) the work of humans. Anything up to that point is just brainstorming.
I'm not hallucinating, right? Posessor(s) is a real game that came out? Poor Heart Machine. They probably didn't even have any money to market this. Please check this out as it's being ignored everywhere.
@Meowmixes98 Because she's styled like an adult model, but in a child's body. It feels off because they didn't go out of their way to make sure those lines weren't blurred.
@Mr_Singh I just wanted to let you know my criticism of AC is not a personal attack on you. I've played every AC since the first one, and hated Shadows and Mirage.
I actually loved the Desmond parts. That's exactly why I think the modern day storylines were lazy afterwards. There used to be a real connection between past and present. After that it really became an afterthought. I'm only saying they should be integrated more, like they used to be. So again, I don't understand why you see this as a personal attack. I'm mostly agreeing with you here...
The @ was confusing because you seemed to be responding to what someone else said. The only thing we seem to disagree on, it the relevance of the modern storyline in Black Flag.
I expected a lot more 'bombast' in that car chase. It's impossible not to compare it to the now iconic Uncharted 4 chase and it feels a bit tame in comparison.
@Mr_Singh That's a lot of words to defend badly written segments. It was never integrated like it could have been. So no, badly written plot lines with nothing to add to the main story are NOT a 'me' problem. And I was one of the few people here defending the Desmond storylines so I'm not sure why you picked me to @
@Mr_Singh A lot of people hated these storylines and felt like the games lost focus at these moments. It's hard to switch to walking around an office when you were just swashbuckling on a tropical island.
Why is it hard for me to believe that this had 'deeply endearing characters'? Are they introduced AFTER the characters in the demo? Because those were some of the most generic jrpg templates I've ever seen.
@Thrussted It was fine until Desmond was out of the picture. At least it had a little depth before. After that it was just 'hacker this, hacker that', and you barely knew who you were playing.
Really looking forward to that game, but how on earth did Naughty Dog choose to go for such a generic title. It sounds like the best thing ChatGTP would come up with.
@LifeGirl They had cows and plenty of food in their community. I don’t understand why people keep using this argument. Just look at how this group is organised.
Not liking the character design. For all the hate Naughty Dog is getting, I prefer characters that look more like actual humans. Would have made this feel more grounded.
God of War is one I’ve been keeping for ‘‘when it comes to PS+’’, but now it’s here I still can’t be too bothered. Played the first game and enjoyed it moderately. It takes itself way too seriously and the voice acting always cracks me up, as if George Lucas was in the recording studio saying “darker and more intense” at every line.
All this while a parallel universe has a 3rd person semi open world stealth shooter with rpg elements, about Laguna’s journey from Winhill to Esthar to rescue Ellone.
Thank you president trump, for teaching every idiot in the world that you can always get away with saying the craziest, dumbest, most xenophobic sh*t, as long as you say it with enough confidence.
Imagine a 50$ game being considered exceptionally cheap. What timeline is this? No game should be over 60$. And most definitely not over 100$ for digital only special editions. If you buy those games at launch, they’re just going to make them 110$ next year.

They can milk Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger for all eternity.
But please, no more FF7

@Northern_munkey Ah, the classic "it's you who makes it creepy" argument.
Never mind that people were already discussing her bare feet.

She can only play Sophie Turner, which she does really well.
Re: 'Things Are Progressing Really Smoothly': Nomura Shares Rare Update on Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 4
Both franchises should have been buried a long time ago. But especially FF7.
That huge sword and spiky hair were designed for an anime-style character. Making it all hyperrealistic just looks ridiculous.
Should always have been a single game with the same cartoony art style. This takes itself so seriously it's hilarious.

Still a huge mistake to release this in three parts. And let’s hope after this we’ll be done with FF7 for a LONG time.
