Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rebirth Get a Physical PS5 Double Pack on 3 Discs

I'll get the triple pack with 7 discs when Part 3 drops

Anyway, $60 for both games? That's a better deal than the $40 for the one coming in January.

$60 is a nice price for 2 fairly recent games all on disc in 1 box. Nintendo is currently charging $70 for 2 Wii games (which I'm playing the originals now just because).

If these don't sell out and drop to $30 next year I may even pick it up to play before part 3.

Very cool. Final Fantasy games are the only physical games I still collect. I may get the pack if it is confirmed that all patches, dlc and updates are on the disks.

That's pretty sweet considering the PS5 version of Remake is harder to find now, especially at a good price. Though I wonder why they're doing it now instead of waiting for pt 3 and just selling them all as a collection.

@JackiePriest Because Part 3 is still a considerable distance off and they’re timing it to be close to the Switch 2/XBox releases of Remake, so why not make some more money in the meantime?

What will arrive in JANUARY 2026 on Xbox and Switch 2 is ONLY FF7 Remake Intergrade... Rebirth will arrive after that.

Furthermore, it has not yet been 100% confirmed whether part 3 will be multiplatform on day one or not... there is no clear information about this. What we do know is that the trilogy will be on all platforms... which was already known in a way because once FF7 Remake arrives on more platforms, the remaining games will also arrive sooner or later. Square has only confirmed this.

I'm tempted to sell my day-1 VII Remake PS4 copy (got Cloud keychain and Chocobo DLC as a bonus) and get this version since i don't have Intergrade and Rebirth. 60 bucks is a fair price.

But does it include integrale and all the patches on disc?

I hear so many people say they're waiting for the entire thing to be released. Hope it sends SE a message not to try this trilogy thing again.

The eventual Trilogy pack is where it's at for physical collectors, or maybe a special 4-pack that features Reunion as well with the classic Buster Sword menu screen as box-art.

@rjejr And if anyone on the internet had bothered to check, the Galaxy games were $50 USD each back in 2007 & 2010 respectively, so $70 for 2 in 4K is not so bad 💡, especially considering the devaluation of money/inflation over time.

I know squenix always says their games didn’t meet sales expectations but you’d have to think these games have some long term sales going in its favor. They can package them together, do a sale before part 3 comes etc. I’d be interested to see the sales numbers down the line. But who knows anymore what a successful game is for square? They should have released it on all platforms though.

I’m very tempted by this… I don’t have a switch 2 yet but I think I’d probably play it more on there because of the ability to go handheld.
Though, will this double pack be released on switch 2…. 🤔

A multi disk situation wow. Regardless of it being a re-packaging to move extra disks. XD It's a fair way to get all FF7 Remake so far content out for sure.

Also just the 2? No Crisis Core? Just 7 Remake, DLC and Rebirth. I mean sure. Not like haven't come across that before 2 big, 1 small experience as 3 in there. It works. Just surprised they didn't want to go the Kingdom Hearts route, except instead of all games on 1 disk it's all games on each of their disks in the case. But they don't want a larger disk case size or to have 2 cases in a bundle. They could, but they won't. or a custom box like those with collectibles/other stuff in them either. Or a custom sleave.

Also is Square planning a bundle of all 3 games (no Crisis Core included) in the future? Hmm) Regardless of reprints and so on.

Also special case for all 3? Or just a disk flipper? I mean blu-rays normal size for 2 to 5 disks are those a thing anymore not just older releases or re-packaging past show DVDs?

Or thin 1 disk blu-ray cases, not a fan of them, whether on their own or excuses when they make them just thick enough to fit between others on a shelf, it makes sense for that but not in the smaller case size for 1 to 2 disks, it's just weird and just cost cutting, what company does that to go 'yeah it benefits the customer's shelf' no one XD for TV/movies.

We don't get larger case sizes anymore like 360 Lost Odyssey or Wolfenstein New Order. For games at least, unless it's like TV show box sets or so.

@LiamCroft I contacted Square-enix support to find out if everything is on the disc, this is the response I got: "Thank you for your interest in purchasing the Twin-Pack.
The Intermission-DLC will be a code printed on a leaflet located inside the game box." Unfortunately it's not as physical as we hoped.

I missed intermission coz it didn't release on PS4. And I ain't buying the game twice. I ended up getting rid of the game. I'm currently playing rebirth on PC.

I have the physical deluxe editions as a big fan but this is a good deal.

@rjejr Physical games usually decrease over time, especially if they're from the same generation. Hardly a fair comparison, and your use of "new" to describe 2 Wii games which were Wii re-releases in 2011 and 2016 is dubious.
Should this double pack have been a bit cheaper? Yeah probably, but when placed in context, it's hardly outrageous. Or as noted above, one can always wait for a sale, or buy it used.
