That huge sword and spiky hair were designed for an anime-style character. Making it all hyperrealistic just looks ridiculous.

Should always have been a single game with the same cartoony art style. This takes itself so seriously it's hilarious.

Not liking the character design. For all the hate Naughty Dog is getting, I prefer characters that look more like actual humans. Would have made this feel more grounded.

God of War is one I’ve been keeping for ‘‘when it comes to PS+’’, but now it’s here I still can’t be too bothered.
Played the first game and enjoyed it moderately. It takes itself way too seriously and the voice acting always cracks me up, as if George Lucas was in the recording studio saying “darker and more intense” at every line.

If you think games are generic today, wait 10 years

Imagine a 50$ game being considered exceptionally cheap. What timeline is this?
No game should be over 60$. And most definitely not over 100$ for digital only special editions. If you buy those games at launch, they’re just going to make them 110$ next year.

Are there any other examples of titles like this that added trophies at a later point?

I already paid 600€ for my PS5, and I haven’t gotten a single stable 60fps game in performance mode. Now I have to spend even more money to get a decent performance?

I want to get into this series, but why does everything look so darn generic?

I will never understand the acclaim this got. Probably the least interesting gameplay ever in a Final Fantasy game, and I don’t know how anyone could claim otherwise.
It doesn’t matter how deep the micromanaging goes, if you can just beat the game by button mashing. Completely out of balance.
If THIS is what we get instead of turn based combat, please bring it back now. Dragon Quest and Octopath are doing it, so why wouldn’t it be used for the series that helped make the genre famous?
