I hate how she was hiding behind the exact same platform in the kitchen. Makes it feel like a parody. The rest looks fine, but I agree that a 3rd person perspective (or the option) would have been preferable. There's almost no dinosaur games that use it anymore.
I remember when they announced it wouldn't have any DLC and I was delighted and decided to buy the game after all. Too bad they didn't keep their promise and that the game turned out to be a boring 'tap to win' hallway.
It's ridiculous how companies are into 'accessibility' because it makes them look good, but then they make things overpriced. That's also accessibility. Like Naughty Dog adding all these features, but asking 80€ for a remaster. They should call it 'accessibility for the privileged'
For me personally it doesn’t have enough games yet. I’m really waiting for a PS5 game that can go in my all time top 10. Most of the ones I’ve been looking forward to have been disappointments so far. Sea of Stars comes close, but that’s not really ‘a PS5 game’.
I’ll only be really excited if they ever go back to a more goofy art style like IX and a turn based battle system. Why does Dragon Quest keep getting away with that while Final Fantasy keeps taking itself too seriously!

Re: Poll: What's Your Most Anticipated PS5 Game of 2024?
I wanted to vote Ys X, but that seems to be far off
Re: Persona Dev's New RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio Looks Amazing, Hits PS5, PS4 in Fall 2024
Reminds me a bit of Shin Megami Tensei V, which should have been on PS5 years ago already.

The art style is gorgeous
Re: Poll: What Is Your PS5, PS4 Game of the Year 2023?
I remember this as the year of boring disappointments, with Sea of Stars being the only one I really loved. Why people love FF16 is just beyond me.
Re: Elements from Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Could Inform Future Avatar Films
If only this was 3rd person.
Re: The Witcher 4 Is Now CD Projekt Red's Main Focus as Work Wraps Up on Cyberpunk 2077
Can anyone who's played them tell me a good reason why The Witcher 1 & 2 aren't on PS yet?
Re: PS1 JRPG Fans May Want to Keep an Eye on Arisen Force: Vonimir for PS5, PS4
I’m almost 100% certain that it will have a long and winding intro about war between nations that end with ‘-adia’
Re: Star Kaitlyn Dever Could Be The Last of Us TV Show's Abby
I hope they go for a more androgynous Abby. The only woman I ever loved 😍

Re: Alan Wake 2 (PS5) - A Nightmare We Never Want to Wake Up From
The lack of enemy variety was probably the reason I quit part 1, so I’m not convinced
Re: Konami Aware of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Launch Issues, Fixes Incoming
Never mind fixes, I need a price drop
Re: Elden Ring, Dark Souls Director Becomes Second Game Dev to Make Time's 100 Most Influential People List
Him being the second also says something about the amount of people they’ve ignored in the past.
Re: The Last of Us HBO Exec Touches on Joel's Fate in Season 2
Can’t wait to fall in love with Abby again.
I don’t hate Joel as much as in the game though.

Re: Alan Wake 2 Is Still on Track for 2023 Release on PS5
Now I wish I didn’t give up on part 1. The gameplay seemed extremely repetitive after a few hours.
