When the world of platform gaming enthusiasts are begging for some sort of resurgence for Ape Escape/Sly Cooper/Ratchet/Jak&Daxter/Rocket Knight etc we get this Monkey arse kebab of a game repackaged? Bubsy was always an unplayable frustrating ordeal of a game. The eternal truth is you simply cannot polish a turd💩

Tbh…I will pick this up at some point…sometimes it’s good to be lead by the nose and not having to make constant decisions and being overwhelmed by options…Thinking is overrated fun is not Kupo

This is great and welcome news…I’m totally hooked on this game after I took the plunge and bought it on jap import (Always support physical kids) I knew Level 5 wouldn’t let me down cos I adore the Ni No Kuni games…so refreshing to see a free dlc too…If you are on the fence about Fantasy Life I just go for it..you will never regret it tho your free time is gonna take a big hit…That is all Kupo

Beyond doubt Fantasy Life…Just got it on jap import (Always buy physical kids) it is a joy to play and is sucking every free minute outta my day. The only reason I found time to type this is because I’m on a..ahem..bathroom break!

This is what I have been waiting for…Love Level 5 and the Nino Kuni series is my all time favourite..This simple at first game sucks you in and then owns your soul…Don’t pay £58 for digital on PSN but buy physical on import..cost me £67 on eBay and now I can pass it on to family/friends or treasure it forever…hint I will be doing the latter!

Was really tempted and got the fomo watching players online but let’s move on…I have a backlog high as the wailers and I played Oblivion to death already…BTW don’t bother bitching to Bethesda for a physical copy…at best the will charge you £60 and give you a 85mb code on a disc and laugh while you walk out the shop

Well the corporations pushing us into a digital only future have won. I will not be buying doom physical..I have every other iteration physically but what’s the point? I will also be selling my Indy game while it still has some value…I may never buy Doom Dark Ages now…It was always the thrill of owning the game and box art that drove me to buy games…I have a ton of games unopened on my shelves..I love owning them and eventually will get around to play them all. But those days have gone…Ninty and Microsoft know what they are doing to physical and this is just the end game now….Game Over Man…Game Over

Just watched the first few hours on PlayStation Access uk and it looks amazing..Rob really sold it to me…I mean I have played this game to death back in the day…but what can I say? I’m a sucker for nostalgia and beautiful environments..sigh..

@UltimateOtaku91 That is true…I mean surely Sony knows there is a big appetite out there for an Ape Escape remake/remaster? The huge success of Astro may be a catalyst for the reemergence of past franchises like Sly Spyro Jak…An Astro 2 has got to be already sanctioned but I’m hoping that behind studio doors Ape Escape is already being developed 🤞🏼

The one thing that irked me most about the sop was the complete lack of Platform games as usual….The promo pix that included an Ape Escape monkey made my heart soar…only to find out they were referring to a mode in Metal Gear remake..sigh…Have Sony and partners learned nothing from the phenomenon that is Astrobot?…Who by the way they couldn’t even be bothered to mention the new free to play levels which started launching on the same day…Le sighs again🙄

Wow! Really getting our moneys worth frowning m team Asobi …. They could have easily bundled the time trials and new levels charged £10 and players would have lapped it up…so yea thanks Team Asobi 👏🏻

So pleased that this is reviewing well. What’s not to love? Sonic Generations alone is a fantastic game but Shadow elevates this to a new level (9/10) We now await Sonic Adventures remakes with a f#@k off huge Chao Garden non?

I am in gaming heaven…I feel pity for gamers and non gamers alike who will never experience the pure joy of playing Astro Bot. It is a privilege to own this game. I literally have burst out laughing out of surprise and genuine mirth on many occasions and I am only a few hours in. Team ASOBI have created a Sgt Peppers moment in 3D platformer gaming. I want to call friends to gather them round to enjoy and share this experience with me. My Grandson is going to love it too. What a day to be a gamer! Now if only DPD can get there finger out of there arse and deliver my Astro dual sense to complete my gaming utopia I will be truly complete!

Stoked to finally be able to play Ratchet Size Matters…The only Ratchet game I have never finished. Also I look looking forward to playing through FF Crisis Core again…lent my copy to my Nephew who subsequently moved to work in the US….never lend your games out children…they never return!

No doubt about it Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is my game of the year…The sheer scale…the glorious graphics…the story arc of the characters…just epic Kupo

I am very happy with a bonus poster with the physical version of Astrobot (hell I’m happy for any physical release nowadays) but I was really hoping for a nice collectors edition with figurines music cds metal box and all kinds of Astrobot doodads..sigh…Still really pumped for some serious fun in September tho

Hmmm…Could it be that the Astro Bot is for PSVR2…please be the case 🙏🏻

I loved original Jak trilogy but never played this…so it will be a nostalgia kick…This generation has let down platform fans big time…just crazy how Jak Sly and Spyro franchises are being left to rot…only Sonic and Ratchet have kept the flag flying

Wow! Streets of Rage 5? That alone was enough but crazy taxi and Golden Axe? My son and I play streets of rage 4 nearly every day and love the entire franchise…please don’t screw this up Sega…sor4 is a masterpiece and the perfect love letter to the og series…cannot wait to see how Sega can top it

This makes me sad and mad…The publishers have been pushing this on us because it is more profitable for them with no manufacturer or retailer or distribution to pay and still charge the same as well as killing the second hand market all at the same time…we are sleep walking into a digital only future people! I have swapped games with my cousins for 20 years+ and the benefit was obviously we could coordinate to get all the games we wanted that we wouldn’t have been able to afford and still have the physical games to keep or trade in. My son is a rarity in that he likes to collect gaming stuff and is obsessed with Sonic ( our dog is called Mikes Prower and the cat is Robotnik!) He has every Sonic game ever made…I imagine he will be sad when the next big Sonic release will be digital only…..bah…come the zombie apocalypse you digital apologists will be sorry!

I was willing to wait for a year or longer to see if it was going to get a physical release. Pleased I waited…Hope it comes in a nice steel box with bells and whistles.

I am more than happy to purchase expansions for this great game and I am pleased it won’t be ftp. Me and my son have sunk in 600 hours over a year and not spent a penny…I consider that great value so spending £30 on the 2nd season is a no brainer. If DDV was released as a standalone game and a year later ‘ A Rift in Time’ was released as a DDV 2 no one would bat an eye. We all know ftp models become a ruthless shake down as developers try to make profit and players end up feeling exploited.
DDV Is a fantastic game with AAA content and deserves to succeed and already has a massive community and fanbase..dream on valley people ❤️

There have been some amazing games released this year but nothing makes me more sweaty and excited in my underwear region than the prospect of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Kupo

This review score has shaken my faith in Push Square. 6? Really? Shame you on you Stephen T… Why does all the media hate the Sonic franchise? Or is it Sega? I hope that the deliberate down scoring of this hugely entertaining fun game doesn’t put gamers of playing it.

Spidey 2 will be started this evening…also Assassin’s Creed Mirage will get some time and Sonic Superstars will get a serious bashing with my sons…maybe stopping to eat at some point…oh an watching the Arsenal

Why can you not review EA FC in isolation of previous incarnations? It is a bloody fantastic football game that is off the chart visually and gameplay wise. The fact there is no competition is irrelevant until the greedy joke that is FIFA launch their own game! 7 outta 10 really? Enjoy what is front of you…or are you Tottenham in disguise?

It looks amazing but it seems a massive time dump…an I have a huge back log and Assassin Creed Mirage landed on my shelf today…Won’t be buying it until there is a physical copy anyway

Very much enjoying EA FC…The slower gameplay leads to a more thoughtful approach and I find defending harder but overall it is a far more satisfying package..the presentation is sublime and most importantly it feels like real football…also I am pleased that I am not putting a penny into the greedy claws of the corrupt bloated obscenity that is FIFA anymore

I would absolutely love a new Spyro game…Platformers are criminally underestimated by publishers…Only Ratchet has been represented this console generation and it seems Insomniac is to busy with the Marvel cashdollars to be even thinking about making a new game. Honestly how long are we going to have to wait till we see a new Sly Cooper/Jak&Daxter/Spyro/Rayman for PS5? My only realistic hope is for an Astrobot game.
P.S. I did forget to mention the Sackboy and Sonic this gen games which were both brilliant…but you get my point huh?

I really hope this is all true..I yearn for a classic AC game that you can purchase the full game and just enjoy it. I hope it has the feel of the classic early days of the franchise…I haven’t enjoyed any AC since Syndicate…fingers are crossed 🤞🏼

I hope that PSVR2 sales will pick up now it is available at retail…I cannot express how much I love the gaming experiences I have enjoyed..it is an incredible piece of kit…I have purchased 21 games so far and feel I am still missing on many great games..any doubters need to give it a go

I haven’t played a fighter game for a long time (Streets Of Rage 4 doesn’t count because it is primarily a scrolling beat em up…and freaking awesome!) but I have a hankering to play one again so I will sign up for MK1 relaunch..I just need some easy meat to hone my skills on first…Am I a bad dad for considering my 7yo son as my first opponent 🤔

Will not buy this on principle…I desperately wanted a physical copy but the ***** at Square released preorders in the middle of the night without warning and sold out in an hour! I mean why do that? I expect they will be on eBay for 4x retail price…Why punish me Square when all I ever do is show love and line your pockets?
