In response to the superb success of Level-5’s feel-good comeback hit Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, the Japanese developer has announced a “roguelike open world” mode will be added as free DLC in the future.
The studio had already announced it’d be expanding on the title in response to its popularity, which has seen it top one million sales across all platforms to date. But now we have a better idea of what that complimentary content will entail.
“As part of the free downloadable content ‘Update the World’, a roguelike open world will be added as a new mode to Ginormosia,” the official announcement reads.

“In addition to powerful new gear, the downloadable content will also introduce new stylish equipment, mounts and a variety of unusual items.
“New hairstyles and new emotes are also planned to make it even more enjoyable for players to express themselves in-game.”
