Chinese juggernaut NetEase basically has infinite money, and with Blood Message, you’re basically seeing the cash pour out of the screen.
This new trailer is pretty much all cinematics, but the single player story game will be playable by press at SGF this week, so it’s not all smoke and mirrors.
Not sure what’s going on? Here’s what the press release says:

“Set in the late Tang Dynasty in 848 AD, players take on the role of a nameless messenger who embarks on a perilous eastward journey to deliver a message that holds the fate of his homeland. The game’s setting in the last years of the Tang Dynasty provides a cultural landmark of Chinese history that frames the story with customs, culture, and the rich history of the era.
Alongside his son, they must survive relentless enemy sieges and a treacherous 1,000 mile odyssey, fighting against impossible odds to return to the heart of the Tang Dynasty: Chang’an. Cross lethal landscapes, including desolate deserts and the vast wilderness of East and Central Asia, to survive brutal sieges, unforgiving terrain, and overwhelming odds. Amidst the desert sands, they etch the final tale of loyalty in the Great Tang. When history forgets, warriors remember.”
There’s no release date attached to this one, and I don’t particularly get the sense it’s close. But it sure looks promising, doesn’t it?

It's still not beating the style over substance allegations for me personally, yes the game looks amazing but where's the uncut gameplay footage at?
How this doesn’t fool me like Wuchang did. Don’t look so good in videos then look like a 2012 game when I play it.
Ghost of Beijing
We need at least 20min of pure gameplay because with this Chinese games we never know
