So, Sony's latest State of Play broadcast ended up being pretty good — and I reckon a lot of that perception is simply down to how many high quality games were on display.
But out of all those PS5 games, which one really got you going? Which one stole the show?
Yesterday, I put together a cheeky Push Square poll in an attempt to reach some kind of consensus — and over 2,200 of you took the time to cast a vote.
In truth, I knew that two specific games would dominate the competition — and they did. I am, of course, referring to Marvel's Wolverine and God of War Laufey.

Understandably, these first-party juggernauts were given the most time in the spotlight. Wolverine kicked the whole broadcast off with a gameplay demonstration, and Laufey debuted over 20 minutes of uninterrupted footage to close things out.
It's hard to compete with that level of presence. Indeed, the two titles were neck and neck for most of the voting process, but it was God of War Laufey that went on to claim victory.
Here's the top five, if you're curious:
- God of War Laufey - 746 votes (33%)
- Marvel's Wolverine - 601 votes (27%)
- Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis - 148 votes (7%)
- ILL - 124 votes (6%)
- Until Dawn 2 - 84 votes (4%)
As you can see, there was a significant drop-off in support outside of Laufey and Wolverine — but it's still nice to see Tomb Raider come back with a bang, ILL turn some heads, and the surprise of Until Dawn 2 go down well.
