Been lucky til last night. I think my buddy and I extracted from 2 of the 5 missions we played successfully. One of both of us were kicked back to the ship on the other 3
After seeing what this team is capable of that 3 billion for Bungie gotta hurt. At least there were clauses in the buyout that Sony could essentially "hostile takeover" something they own...weird I know but a very good clause. At this point I'd buy this dev. Can the heads of Bungie and give some Arrowhead peeps some love, raises and promotions lol
@RoomWithaMoose but it DOES do things that haven't been done. Like being hilarious and very much tactical at the same time. It also manages to make dying enjoyable. There is a ton of content at launch. Lots of cool ways to manipulate your loadout to have distinctly different playstyles. There is so just an X factor that can't be explained. This game just has the secret sauce. I also rarely play MP games anymore because of the sameness and grind associated with them all
I can't stop playing GT7 in VR. Just phenomenal. When I do take a break the boy and I have been playing Halo 3 campaign on MCC. And he loves what he refers to as "the fast kicking game" AKA River City Ransom on my Retron2 lol
Everyone saying prequel is spot on imo. There's like 15 or 20 years (can't remember exact) from the opening scene to where we pick up. I'm sure there is a quality, savage story to be told there. But knowing *****spoilers****** Joel doesn't make it could make it less impactful
@trev666 it's ok. WB, Port Key and Avalanche laughing all the way to the bank. Unfortunate they don't receive the industry recognition but they surely have received the recognition from consumers. Easily in my top 3 this year.
Never a good sign. Somebody didn't wanna hear "live" elements for their next game maybe? I can only speculate but be better Sony. You are starting to make MS look like a quality publisher
Truly a first party console. Ghosts of Sushi, GoW 18 and and ASTRO BOT Rescuse mission were my 3 favorite from Sony. But as the journalists/editors mentioned above...some stellar 3rd party support regardless of exclusivity. Resogun was just amazing. And Rocket League before Epic got it was also a "this just hits different experience". For all of PS5s success it's paling in comparison....I know it's just hitting its "stride" per se but im concerned it's 'for the payers' not players
RoboCop: Rogue City, Mario Wonder with the wife, Halo: MCC with the boy and I started a New Game+ in Sea if Stars because I just can't get enough of that game
@nessisonett hrmm...over 50 millions copies of the last two Legeng of Zelda games alone tells me there is an audience. And stop it...the Mario film was obviously everything it needed to be lol. It grossed over a billion. Your opinion on Mario is in the overwhelming minority. What were you expecting?
Gonna Start ROBOCOP. So excited. Also got all 60 rainbow conch in Sea of Stars so now I can get the good ending. Some Mario Wonder and SFxTekken on PS3 with my son
Such a shame. I loved all 3. Sure some of 3 felt dated for this Era in gaming but it nailed the atmosphere of the originals. It only moved the story ahead in inches but was faithful. I'm sure I'll never see the stories conclusion which makes me sad. It's one of the richer worlds ever created.
Makes me wonder why they got govt funding for this in the first place. There might be something explaining that out there somewhere. Seems like it could have been canned otherwise.
I think the live service label is misleading. AC Valhalla is a live service title. I don't think everything Sony is making is a fornite clone or battle royal.
Lots of studios/people could be on the chopping block. Barlow, unfortunately, seems mentally unstable with his personal life issues, Druckmann can't seem to make a MP game and Naughty Dog has nothing in sight except a ps5 port for TLoU2, Media Molecule is doing what after the failure/money pit that was Dreams (shame it was awesome), potentially some of these GaaS titles are being scrapped after realizing that there is no way in hell they can make that many successful service type games....it could really be a ton of people/studios on the chopping block. Even when these mega companies post absurd Financials that still doesn't mean somewhere, somebody isn't causing them to hemorrhage money in some way. It sucks but it's a reality
If I'm top brass at Insomniac, Blue Point, SSM, Sucker Punch or Housemarque I'm threatening a mutiny to Sony top brass to stop this nonsense. I think GG and ND can pull off what they are working on and we all know Bungie can. But everyone else needs to take a stand. Either get it together or find yourself looking like Xbox does rn.
Who would have thought that Xboxs lack of foresight regarding Series S would lead to Playstation actually having a monster "exclusive" rpg in BG3 to compete for your free time Against Starfield
FF6 and Chrono Trugger are considered the holy grail of JRPGs. I personally don't think out if a Remastered port should either be touched. As much as I did enjoy FF7R I still don't think the trilogy will hold a candle to the original. Sea of Stars looks to be the best turned bases rpg in quite a lone time if the demo is anything to go off of
No love for Cecil...he was my second choice after Cloud. They should do a poll that has every mainline party member. Part of me thinks the overall favorite character wouldn't be the main protagonist
Awesome!! One of my most anticipated titles this year. The messenger was amazing and I'll be v excited to see how they do an rpg. Looks like a homage to Chrono Trigger and Secrets of Mana
Finally downloaded the Halo Infinite campaign on my Series last night. It's got good nostalgia thing going. Gameplay is fun, sorry inoffensive so far lol. Then I'm either going for FF16 or Pikmin 4
Sad thing is the system was an utter beast, with ps2 components inside for true BC along with a BluRay player that was stand alone 1k when this thing launched. It was marketed poorly but was a STEAL when it released. Ps3 might be my favorite of them all. Journey, Killzone, Uncharted, TLoU, Motor Storm, Demon Souls, MGS4....it had so, so many bangers

@BlueWeezer Aspyr is no longer the developer. Apparently, things weren't going well. The studio that has taken over is listed as 'Internal Embracer Group' studio. I also believe at one point Saber Interactive was involved once Aspyr couldn't make significant progress
Dude is in the upper pantheon of game developers. And for everyone who cant stand Neil....Wells must see something worth passing the torch. I highly doubt he was pushed out and I also don't think Sony would blindly give Neil the keys.

If it irons our a few things it's a 10. Never thought I'd say that about a MP PvE extraction shooter in my life lol

SM2 and Mario Wonder for the win. Also, almost finished with the absolutely amazing Sea of Stars
Re: 'Gollum-Like' King Kong Game Is Getting Torn to Shreds Online
At least gollum wasn't that hideous. It's literally like an end of ps2/beginning of ps3 game in the graphics department.
