Been waiting a long time for this one...

This is mostly non-GTA related, but while I was playing my backlog of games, I could only help but think Rockstar would be the perfect company to take over the Watch Dogs franchise (of course its not since it belong to Ubi Soft). If I ever can get my hands on a PS5, I definitely will give GTA5 another spin.

Provided these aren't console conversions and the price point is decent.

My favorite part of playing online with UNO is leaving a round and coming back 2 hours later and ending back up in the same round!!!

This is a good selection, but I already own everything that is free for PS4 this month.

I laugh every time someone says GOTG is an awesome game or the 2021 GOTY. There is an awesome story here, but you spend a majority of the time walking down corridors with endless banter and extremely underwhelming combat.

I'm down with a return to the original stealth gameplay, but only if they can fix they clunky control scheme.

The online requirement makes this a no go for me... hard to enjoy a game no matter how great it is... when my Internet provider switched to a different company and my connection has gone broadband to DSL...

Since ny Internet company changed over to a new one, my connection has become pretty spotty and unreliable. So GT7 will be the first numbered GT game I will not purchase.

Sniper Elite has never been a GOTY candidate, but it has always provided ample fun, multiple paths and methods for tackling levels, nice difficulty ranges, and the ability to kill the Fuhrer. EDIT: Love the closeups of body parts exploding including the infamous Jimbrowski shot.

Sure, the glitches were fixed. I wonder if that the reason I stopped playing GTA 3 after 6 hours... on a game that was free on PS Now.

Honestly, the only title on this list I planned on purchasing was Diablo 4. Considering the franchise is now owned by Micro$oft, I definitely will not be purchasing it. Sorry, Micro$oft, you can claim Crash all you want, but he will always be a PlayStation icon. Not only is a potential monopoly or oligopoly forming, with everything basically going to Game Pass on Day One, I question the quality control on these games. Really, why try to make games great when you don't have the pressure of selling millions of copies.

I remember playing Concrete Genie when it was first released and had fun playing it. It is actually one of the few games I purchased from Day One release.

@kyleforrester87 Uh, no. Because Microsoft is only interested in Game Pass, which means developers will no longer be held responsible for the quality of games. When you don't have worry about game sells, you don't have to worry about who likes your games...

They say a video game crash would never happen again, but I'm predicting one with Microsoft purchasing everything. Truly sad because almost everything MS purchases turns to mold. I've also said if any company purchases Take 2... I will boycott their console. There are plenty of other thing to do in my life than play video games.

@AdamNovice I've been calling out on Microsoft for a long time on anti-competition practices, including refusing to purchase all future Bethesda products including Elder Scrolls...

Mike Tyson's Punchout has all sorts of bizarre and insane categories of speedruns, but speedrunning Sekiro blindfolded is on a another lever.

And by the time you complete all 500 hours and 5 years of DLC, Elder Scrolls 6 will still be in planning phases of development...

I wouldn't need a PS4 if you'd stop selling PS5s to bots.

Guardians of the Galaxy is definitely NOT a top game for 2021. Living proof we live in a generation where people absolutely NO clue of what a great game looks like. If you actually think yapping incessant rambling while walking down extended corridors makes this a great game. Over half the game involves college professor like rambling down corridors. I feel sorry for you as a human being if you believe this is a great game. The only thing great is the writing. It also has tons of graphical hitches and glitches. Deathloop, Hades and It Takes Two are far superior to Guardians.

@WallyWest Glad to hear load times are resolved on PS5... if only I could get my hands on one.

Currently, it takes 7 minutes from when you turn the game on until the time you can actually play... on a PS4 Pro... There is a 5 minute loading screen to go a River Raid, which is longer than the average play time for the original River Raid by Activision on the Atari 2600!!!!

Complete money grab and most likely a bloated, boring, empty, redundant, tedious, etc. expansion. If you considered shooting cursed symbols, solving simple and redundant rock puzzles and boring side quests (aka world events), empty towns/cities, then this is for you.

Sorry Take-Two Interactive, but when I hear "It Takes Two," I think of the hit single by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock... not the game.

I reached my goal of 10000 trophies and 150 plats a while back... I still enjoy earning trophies, but my gaming habits don't revolve around them any more... In other words, I'm playing a game an extra 10 hours just to get a trophy...

Metroid Dread listed as GOTY, but not Returnal... I call Bull Schmidt on that one. Metroid Dread is NOT a very good Metroid game and pales in comparison to its GBA brethren.

Aside from some glitches, Kingdoms of Amalur is a decent fantasy action RPG. It took me about 180 hours to earn the platinum trophy. Plus, Re-Reckoning comes packed with DLC!!!

FFVII and FFIX is where my heart is, but FFVI is easily the best in the series.

By far the easiest gaming purchase I didn't make in a while!!!!!!!!!! This is probably one of the few games (including Valhalla) where I look at people as if they are a few French Fries short of a Happy Meal; it is overrated and boring. This is a fact NOT an opinion. But then again, we live in a generation two of the most popular rappers sound like they use pacifiers (Da Baby and Lil Baby) as microphones. I wonder if the background dancers are Pampers and Luvs... unlike Leg 1 & Leg 2 or Scoop Lover and Scrap Lover.

Hope the game is as good as the game seems different.

No longer excited because I can tell they are going to cram too much story into one game.

For some reason this brings back memories of when AJ Jamal was on Showtime at the Apollo making Michael Jackson pet monkey jokes.

Although the story is extremely Ludacris at times, Detroit is still a pretty good game. It was fun going through all the story arcs.
