@Flurpsel you are a smart person, the quick jump to ABANDON the ps4 and all of its games and abilities, makes me really sad as a gamer. The clammoring to use and toss consoles with hundreds of games still left on them and an active life cycle, is probably one of the saddest phenomenons in gaming right now.. I don't see myself getting a Ps5 until 2023, until then with all of the games still being released and the plethora of games that I haven't touched in the PS4 library, this will keep me busy for another full year or so..

im playing "HOUSE OF ASHES" love the game, but the trophies with full playthroughs start to finish, with tight requirements is a joy killer.. Cant wait to finish these last two trophies. so i can return the game...
Sony should actually REWARD, people with trophies or with platinums, like discounts, extra dollars or a chance to enter a raffle or some incentive. When I get a platinum, I never brag about it, its there, ive done it, its only special to me. I have a friend that is constantly telling me he got a platinum in a game, like it doesnt mean anything to me in the long run.. Why does he do this? I can never understand. But SONY has to start recognizing their supporters, they tend to take a huge dump on us constantly....
@NeThZOR im torn... I feel like doing and seeing things that most gamers wont ever see, actually gives me a reason to get achievements. Take for instance, for Cyberpunk, i probably wouldn't have known how decent a game it was if I didn't do some of the story lines, or some of the side hustles and other things outside of the main story. If you are going for "maximum bang for your dollar" then, its okay. I only have about 83 games i have either played or started on the PS4 in my list, some of my friends have upwards to 280-320. So it shows they are just putting a game in playing it for a few hours, get bored then move on, or they just don't have the time. At least, i can say, I am actually focusing and enjoying a game to the fullest....
@Broosh maybe if the trophy didn't pop or make that sound, we wouldn't feel like we are a alcoholic, cigarette smoking gambler in a casino in Vegas. They should have a setting where you can turn that off, and gawd why does it always take a screen shot? Its just taking up space on my PS4 HD!!!
@Weebleman I know games, were FINISHED, beta tested and all the kinks worked out.. There were no patches, no bugs, or any other issues. It was the golden era, then again gaming wasn't such a big money making market, so there was no pressure. Developers were happy, and made quality projects and the directors had constant feed back with the makers of their games. Now its "crunch" and "put it out now dammit!" culture. We gamers also have a little fault into all of this, by preordereing, a whole industry based off of hype drops, and the constant spoon feeding us of snippets, uncompleted game trailers, and high res CG showcases that don't represent in game world or mechanics...
the proverbial "genie is out of the bottle" and we cannot go back anytime soon....
@Angelus3K there was a poll done on a streamers channel and rockstars re hashing of gta5 across several consoles and the excitement factor for the trilogy. It mostly was negative, true there were not gamers even born when some of the games in the trilogy came out. Most stated “ remaster gta4!” Which was a stellar model game in the timeline , but they opted to go for a “ no energy , no expansive trilogy “ which could have been built upon. The modding community has kept the soul of gta alive, it hasn’t been rockstar for sure. It’s a lazy company with no interest in placating the fans who have been loyal for decades..I’ve played all three, do I want to relive them again? No, especially with no added content which they could have easily added in with the billions of dollars the company has. I’m happy you will get to play the trilogy, but MOST gta fans are not really happy….

People have a RIGHT to be upset, people get upset that the Big Mac has decreased in size over the years.. If you DON'T voice your opinion nothing changes in the long run. I think its funny, when people get upset at OTHER people for not liking something, whether it is given away for free or not, regardless pushsquare puts up these polls and forums to spark dialogue. The whole "repetitive" combat, is just garbage, name me ONE game out there that you dont literally do the same 3 or 4 moves over and over until the game is over.. @TheArt Metro was amazing, the DLC "SAMS STORY" is well umm beyond PHENOMENAL! They really ended that game with a bang!! I didnt like "THE TWO COLONELS" as much as I liked "SAM'S STORY" please please please I behoove you to play that DLC!!

I feel like most people haven't really been around long enough to even had HAD a ps3.. Its no ones fault, just different gamers for different times. Its like two people discussing who is the greatest rock band, but they obviously weren't born in the same time period....
playstation 3 had a 3800 plus game library.. NO ONE could say that they didn't have fun with their PS3's! The games on the 3 were PHENOMENAL and unprecedented.. I don't think we will EVER have soo much variety in gaming ever again, now its about making money and the corporate infiltration of the gaming community.. It has definitely tainted it on soo many levels. Back in the ps3 era, there generally was a PASSION for gaming as devs scrambled to make that next "hit" game. THere was a mystere about gaming and an excitement. Now, we have year after year of the same games released with no changes (FIFA/NBA2k--), and broken hyped up games with little heart or soul to their stories or their characters.. Chump microtransactions and being lied to constantly by big publishers and their studio heads. Toxic gaming working environments and social media driven rifts and quarrels. I am SOO happy that I saw the blessed period of gaming, I still game today but have seen the trends and downfall of such a beautiful artform...

@The_Moose All MP trophies for games that no longer have active servers should pop for us gamers automatically.. There are a lot of games on PS3, that for trophy hunters, will be painful because they have friggen MP trophies, sooo TRASH!!
playing FONV on my ps3, yakuza 4 and just did all the DLC for Deus Ex HR, which was phenomenal and held up well. I find that PS3 games have more character to them, and feel more visceral.. Stories are more vibrant.. I think a lot of these new gen games, are just all about flash and optics, with trash stories and bad plots and character developments.. My ps3 second gen still works, even though I had to get it serviced once, They don't make the components anymore so when it dies, so does all of my options to play on my ps3, Sony upgraded me with a 256mb HD just as a present for free!!

@Toypop the servers are active ALL the time the Game is ACTIVE all the time. The base mp came out in 2014, they shut down the PS3 servers but the ps4 servers for the “ remastered “ version is still active and the community is pretty big..
So when ND says they would make a new mp factions 2.0 the community was excited, when tlou2 DIDNt Come with an mp when the base tlou did, everyone was shocked.. To be honest NO ONE needs to play tlou2 after they finished the campaign because there is nothing else to the Game, no chances for DLC Etc.. This is what ND does to their loyal fan base “ promise, cancel, disappoint and lie….”

@BoldAndBrash we also have to remember that the PS4, is running games that are causing high levels of clocking, and RAM usage, so if you are not using an External HD to take some of that stress off of your main HD, expect these things to happen. The best remedy to this is to play with headphones on, (noise cancelling) if available. I just consider this "setback" a part of new games and old hardware> Its not really a game changer for me...
@Old-Red i really feel bad for people ( PS5 owners), that are holding that massive machine and they don't have any games that scream "I CAN ONLY BE PLAYED ON THIS!" I mean there are a few but after almost going into a year of its shelf birth, it's a pretty sad state of affairs. If i had a ps5 I would be super pissed.. I see gamers on my friends list playing ps4 titles on their ps5s!! This is REALLY REALLY SAD!!

@kingbreww bro we wont see a TLOU 2 MP for a while now, Neil is recovering from shell shock, they are working on "TLOU MINI SERIES", and Remastering TLOU for PS5. Them "hiring" for a game they said they were "working on " back in 2020 is basically telling the world "we havent even STARTED YET!".. I dont know what else gamers need to know that a standalone TLOU 2 multiplayer is year (S) away.. or there is a "probability" that ND is ONCE again lying to all of us... I lost faith in them, they trashed the good writers, and the good staff and with the toxicity of their studio during the development of TLOU 2, no SANE developer wants to work for them now... There are several other studios out there that treat their employees with respect, they are f****d!

@Toypop the servers are active ALL the time the
Game is ACTIVE all the time. The base mp came out in 2014, they shut down the PS3 servers but the ps4 servers for the “ remastered “ version is still active and the community is pretty big..
So when ND says they would make a new mp factions 2.0 the community was excited, when tlou2 DIDNt Come with an mp when the base tlou did, everyone was shocked.. To be honest NO ONE needs to play tlou2 after they finished the campaign because there is nothing else to the
Game, no chances for DLC Etc.. This is what ND does to their loyal fan base “ promise, cancel, disappoint and lie….”

@Toypop hummmm Like I was just on there Sept 26th, around 5pm and found FULL lobbies and matches starting within 2-5 minutes.. "Me thinks you do noteth knoweth what you are talking about..."

@BoldAndBrash we also have to remember that the PS4, is running games that are causing high levels of clocking, and RAM usage, so if you are not using an External HD to take some of that stress off of your main HD, expect these things to happen. The best remedy to this is to play with headphones on, (noise cancelling) if available. I just consider this "setback" a part of new games and old hardware> Its not really a game changer for me...

@Old-Red i really feel bad for people ( PS5 owners), that are holding that massive machine and they don't have any games that scream "I CAN ONLY BE PLAYED ON THIS!" I mean there are a few but after almost going into a year of its shelf birth, it's a pretty sad state of affairs. If i had a ps5 I would be super pissed.. I see gamers on my friends list playing ps4 titles on their ps5s!! This is REALLY REALLY SAD!!

1. making a HBO series
2. remastering TLOU part 1 from 2 gens ago, (ps3 original release)
3. Remastering U4 and The Lost legacy
4. a month ago tweeted "we are aggressively seeking developers for our new cinematic mP for the Last of Us Universe.
if they give us any information I would be surprised, but low oxygen levels lead to death...

@kingbreww bro we wont see a TLOU 2 MP for a while now, Neil is recovering from shell shock, they are working on "TLOU MINI SERIES", and Remastering TLOU for PS5. Them "hiring" for a game they said they were "working on " back in 2020 is basically telling the world "we havent even STARTED YET!".. I dont know what else gamers need to know that a standalone TLOU 2 multiplayer is year (S) away.. or there is a "probability" that ND is ONCE again lying to all of us... I lost faith in them, they trashed the good writers, and the good staff and with the toxicity of their studio during the development of TLOU 2, no SANE developer wants to work for them now... There are several other studios out there that treat their employees with respect, they are f****d!
