im literally spending a few hours getting an achievement on 'The Evil Within', and some scrub has a platinum after playing a game for 10 minutes!! Yeah, I see profiles with these easy platinums and it makes me want to vomit.. Due to "trophy boosting" this crap is flooding the ps store.. "My platinum is NOTHING like your platinum ! Please move on!"

this game was supposed to come out 2 years BEFORE covid hit, and now we are 2 years AFTER covid and it still hasnt come out.. Techland released DL2 instead.. Lets just let this dying horse DIE already!!

@KundaliniRising333 if they got ONE i mean ONE dumb person to give them 500 dollars they won! There are 24 hours in a day, they rinse and repeat and do it all over again, they do it because some moron is actually falling for it.. Hence the phrase "there is a sucker born every minute..' by the way there are over 1440 minutes in a day.. DO THE MATH!!!

Wait until they make an UNCHARTED 4 REMASTER!! dont worry its probably on the table to do it. I want to vomit at these companies and their blatant laziness and wasting all the energy when they could be developing the next new IP....

@GreatAuk you make a very solid point. I have read through alot of the comments and there are pros and cons, most of the pros are like " well you don't have to buy it its not for you!" The simple fact is that naughty troll has the AUDACITY to charge that much for this, or not give any upgrades or cheaper prices. THIS is the problem.. Those who haven't played TLOU for ps3/ps4 generation are probably not that interested in the game at all. If they haven't played it for free with the several times it has been in the PS library, or on the ps4 as the remastered when it was given as a bundle with the PS4 or who are that inept that they haven't played the game, when it's been offered digitally for 9.99 then I don't know what to say.. I would ask Naughytroll "WHO specifically is your demographics for this game? Who are you trying to market it to?"

This is just bad PR and bad company management, i don't care what ANY one says...

@Mikey856 Dont make the mistake of doing your ultra hard run on with out clearing everything needed for the trophy.. this happened to me on the last game so my last trophy was 'PLAY ON ULTRA HARD" and I finished it, then went into the FROZEN WILDS DLC and it was locked on UH, so now i am struggling to get my "kill 15 frostclaws/fireclaw" trophies. you cant go back and down grade the difficulty once you start, and I am too far in at this point to restart "THE FROZEN WILDS" all over again, eff that..

See what happens guys when you commit to buying a system (ps5) just because of the visual upgrades and NO NEW ips on the system to optimize the console? They do these things because there are hundreds of thousands of PS5's sitting in peoples homes, I hate to say it but "its what you asked for!' "Suck it up!" . Who even has TIME to play hundreds of games plus current gen games that keep coming out, and free games every friggen month! LOL.. "Drinking the Kool-Aid" has now become the norm!!

@Col_McCafferty I think also the "mobile gaming" thing is something of the smartphone generation which has catapulted in the last 10 years, so you would also see a system like the Switch being popular amongst younger gamers 17-25. Remember gamers are growing to be dads and moms, and they will by default want their young kids playing games also. The Switch is pre teen/teen/young adult ready. I really dont think the Switch's success has anything to do with its "stellar gaming library", it has a lot to do with the current trends in society and ipad/smartphone/.tablet familiarity. I, myself, am an avid gamer, and a little older and nothing has struck me as something that I would want to play on the Switch. I want to discuss quantum physics and plastic waste problems, and not be hunched over with my adult peers playing a Switch..Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't fit.....

@UltimateOtaku91 compulsion is actually a thing that happens to a lot of gamers. These companies KNOW this, it's an algorithm, and they have most of you guys hooked like a bloated carp on the end of a fishing line...

@uptownsoul yeah what about all of the console exclusive games for like the switch, xbox etc? I wish people would just stop complaining about stuff like this.. Either BUY all the consoles and be quiet or get a new hobby

@gamiller1978 dude let me tell you something "getting near the end" and getting the platinum wont happen in a "weekend" you have to get a crazy couple of trophies.. you will have to be level 99 with your BOND and 99 with your STATS for Joker, before you can even get either of these trophies.. on a good day you will have to have put in about 150 hours TOPS. Good luck, but you wont be getting the platinum this weekend!! LOL!

@AFCC They should give people "points" that can be accumulated over time for things like platinum etc. As of now, people only get the platinum for bragging rights and to see and do everything. Like you, i also uninstall the game after I did everything, like there is no reason to do anything anymore. I used to be on the honor roll in highschool, so I was an overachiever big time

@IonMagi Yeah they will not offer anything. With people dumping "non essential entertainment subs" like Netflix and anything with a "+" at the end of it, this just seems to be a set up for rogue epic failure. I really have no interest in paying extra just to play some old games where I can go "my childhood was soo great!" Time travel just hasn't been effective in the grand scheme of things. I think the service is gonna be highly suspect, and not live up to the hype. If they REALLY had something to brag about they would have done so less than 3 weeks before its supposed to be opening in some global markets..

@Tielo when they started to not let regular gamers participate and it became "industry only" (just in the last few years it was run, they would let some non industry people in) it was too late by then.. Yeah Sony was the glue, you cant run a expo without one of the biggest selling companies on the planet involved....

@Titntin the wait time prior to it starting was an additional 15 mins so yeah I watched 35 minutes of it in its totality… and if “ TREK TO YOMI” devs had the vision where was it prior to GOT? “ paste and cut” is a thing in gaming and it’s making this medium stagnant, because it’s lazy. It’s a “ formula” that works and gamers ( I’m assuming like yourself ) will continue to support and buy games that don’t change or push the envelope and dare to be different.. But it’s okay, just like you assumed I didn’t watch a Sony screen for 35 minutes of my life because I wanted to be there and not miss any of the coverage…. Thanks for laying out your mentality for me.. appreciate it..

@Titntin "TREK TO YOMI" was really not necessary.. If that company were in high school and writing a paper they would get called out for PLAGARISM and we all know who they would have plagarised (ahem "GHOST OF TSUSHIMA")
