I literally just played the PS4 remaster for the first time at the end of last year, right before the rumors began to pick up speed for this version. This was thanks to the PS Plus Collection on my PS5. For me, it’s too soon, but I guess I can see it being a different case for those who picked up that version nearly eight years ago now. It just doesn’t seem like a $70-dollar-worthy upgrade after getting ahold of the solid, slick last-gen offering for next to nothing.

The difference in response between these comments and Nintendo Life’s is astronomical🤣 Loving the positivity over here, friends! I think some disappointment is fair but this does seem like a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Genuinely thought I somehow missed a second entry, so thanks for the explanation haha. I had a lot of fun with the original and its spin-offs on mobile (yes, really) several years back so I’ll keep an eye on this one!

This is extremely cool. I love when developers listen and respond to feedback like this. And they have some seriously deep cuts in here, it's gonna be great to hear some of those classic voices reprised! Looking forward to giving this one a go with PS Plus. If the gameplay clicks for me, I'll probably jump on the DLC as well.

I'd had my eye on Nickelodeon, so that'll be a fun one to try for sure! Haven't played a Naruto game in probably a decade so that could be interesting to check out as well. God of War is obviously an irrelevant inclusion for most, but will be nice for the three people who don't already have it yet I guess.

Would love to give this one a go eventually. Total TWD novice here, do I need an understanding of the TV show or anything else to get the most enjoyment out of the games?

I'm here for it! Lots of great Star Wars content to look forward to on PS5, it seems. I totally understand the hesitation related to the franchise becoming oversaturated, but I personally really dig the MCU-style interconnectedness and gap-filling/plothole-filling strategy that's been behind a lot of the recent shows and games. Just such a fun world to get lost in, even despite the varying levels of quality

I love the originals. The latest Crazy Taxi was a terribly disappointing mobile game. Please just stay true to what made those titles great in the first place.

Mad respect for Elden Ring and Forbidden West, but I'm waiting on the latter until I beat Zero Dawn, and the former's just not my cup of tea. So, not the most popular choice by a long shot, but LEGO Skywalker Saga has me BEYOND hooked. Probably won't actually take home any GOTY awards, but at least a "Best Family Game" or two, no?

Picked up Arkham Knight’s Season Pass for $4, one that’s been sitting on my wish list for awhile! Gotta save for some upcoming titles so that’s it’s for me this time around.

Honestly missed the Disney Infinity aesthetic quite a bit, so this did catch my eye during the Nintendo Direct. The F2P angle is probably gonna hamper it, but if this kicks off some sort of proper revival for the Infinity franchise (minus the pricey physical add-ons), I’m intrigued!

This is gonna be stellar, can’t wait to boot it up with my brothers and friends for some solid couch co-op.

King’s Quest 2015 is one of my favorite games of all time. Not that I actually expect them to give the franchise much love since that game didn’t really sell well, but I’ll be crushed if KQ’s future is restricted to Xbox…

…Aside from that, Spyro, and Crash, though, I really can’t think of much else I’d miss from that list. Will be interesting to see this unfold in the coming years.

I’m still cranking away at a lot of the PS5 Plus Collection for the first time so it’s hard for me to complain (just beat Arkham Knight last night, onto TLoU 1 now). March probably takes the cake with FFVII for me though. Nevertheless I’m still all in for a PS Plus/Now overhaul!

I’ve amassed a hearty collection of VR games from things like Plus and the Play at Home initiatives, that I haven’t been able to play with the PS5 being my first venture into Sony gaming. This might actually be a deal-breaker for me if it’s a no, as I was banking on actually being able to check out all of those titles with the new hardware. Seems utterly pointless to invest in two different headsets imo.

I’m really itching to jump back in for some Spidey side quests after seeing the new movie, especially with the incentive of the new suits in Remastered. My PS5 is still packed up from my journey between college and home, but maybe I’ll find the time to dive in this weekend!

WB is gonna be dominating my future game time between this, Hogwarts, and maybe (just maybe) Gollum...

Still holding out for this one just because the whole thing seems so silly, there’s no way I couldn’t get at least some enjoyment out of it!

On-rails shooter is a better option that most of the half-baked open-world/platformer shlock that licensed movie games have gotten a lot of recently. Looks fun and decent for its target audience!

If they were to incorporate voice acting, licensed music, and a more well-rounded roster, this would be a no-brainer for me. They've hinted at such things coming along via DLC down the line, but as it stands I'll either wait for a drastic sale or just hold off entirely.

I understand and agree with a lot of the criticism pointed at this corporate nonsense, but the ridiculousness of that headline and way of incorporating the character into the game is admittedly hilarious to me…
