@SaltyG I’m EST and I usually see the updates go into effect around 6PM. The timing of these articles always throws me off since they are posted way earlier than we can actually access the new titles.

Damn I was about to finally take the plunge on Resident Evil for the first time. Got a busy month ahead so idk if I’ll find the time for it, but I guess the PS1 version’s still around. Any thoughts on the remake vs the OG for a newbie to the series?

Definitely lacks some of the emotional weight the video game was afforded with having more time to let these story beats breathe, but overall a great ending to a fantastic season. Each and every episode had me hooked, though I totally understand why some familiar with the game may feel differently. For me, it’s easily the best television I’ve watched in awhile and I cannot wait to see how season 2 is tackled.

Love me some Tintin. Hope it’s worth checking out!

Absolute shame. I just want to play the story, but if it’s not free I’ll be waiting for this thing to either get real cheap or inevitably hit PS Plus

Love the look of it! Wouldn’t play it before access to the first game on PSVR2, though. Not gonna buy two headsets just to get the full experience haha

@zupertramp I would implore you to check out the official TLOU Podcast, hosted by Troy Baker with a good balance of input from the creators of both the show and the game. They make really solid arguments on the changes that were made in adapting the game into a series!

It’s just so good. I’m baffled by those who criticize the pace, the action, the character development, and the deviation from the source material, because it’s clear this was never meant to be a 1:1 remake. If that’s seriously what you’re looking for, go play the PS5 remaster!

For legal purposes this is a joke but it is nice to see something that shakes up the formula a bit more than the usual fare. Love a good local multiplayer campaign!

All in all, good to hear. Would’ve been nice to play over my spring break and it does make end of April into May look pretty packed for my interests, but if working out the kinks means a smoother play on day one then I’m all for it…

…That and I’m still working on my Kingdom Hearts binge. No way I’ll be done by March😵‍💫

They continue to outdo themselves. This was wonderful. I don’t even know where to begin. I love being the sole person in my watch group who’s played through the game and can still be pleasantly surprised by deviations like this. I know the main beats and the inevitable fates of many of these characters, sure, but they’re doing a fantastic job of keeping all audiences on their toes. And the exploration of the relationship on display here, just wow. I’ll be surprised if this particular episode doesn’t win any awards.

I’ve always had mine vertical and transport it a good bit between hometown and university housing, always making sure to keep it secured carefully in the original packaging with the padding. No problems here!

My five must-plays are easily Hogwarts Legacy, Jedi Survivor, Suicide Squad, Spidey 2…and Zelda over on Switch!

Honesty hour, the thing that got me most excited in previous years was the announcement of a Muppet or two as a presenter. That Untitled Beaker Game bit was the only memorable part of the night. Give us more of that!

The fact that a good amount of these titles are sequels is a bit tough for me as PSVR2 will be my first foray into VR as a whole. Hoping for ports/upgrades of older titles. Being able to access all the freebies PS Plus has afforded me would be such a strong way to start! As it stands I could see myself holding off until some better bundles come along

Injustice 2 is great, but I picked it up for less than $5 not too long ago...not a very worthy addition value-wise

The Star Wars brand is large enough world-building-wise and genre-wise, that this can go down really well if they play their cards right. I mean this is essentially how it was about 20 years ago, with the huge influx of games both good and bad as the prequels were releasing.

I’m personally incredibly excited for Jedi: Survivor next year, but anything else on the slate is way too far off for me to get excited about yet.

Can you confirm which version of Toy Story 3 is hitting the service? A previous article implied the PSP version, but this article links to the PS3 version.

Hoping for the latter, easily one of my favorite console licensed games of the era! Played the heck out of it with my little bros on Wii.

I'm getting antsy for details on the sequel! Although at this point I would be wholly unsurprised if it got delayed beyond 2023 (as much as I hate to admit it)

Good to hear. I have a slew of untouched PS VR games stacked up in the library thanks to PS Plus, but don't think it's worth picking up the original headset this late in the game. Really hoping for access to most if not all of them so I could try a lot right away.

The PSP version of Toy Story 3 is especially odd to me?? PS3 version is great fun and one of the most solid movie tie-ins of that generation, I’ve just never heard very good things about the portable counterparts…

@GreatAuk Interesting point. An argument can certainly be made for it to feel like pandering more than anything when the context feels so removed from the established world and its rules. It’s a fine line to cross; I’m not very familiar with the Horizon games at all but I haven’t heard much in the realm of meaningful representation pertaining to sexuality in these games. Throwing in something like that just to pat themselves on the back is an unsettling idea, but I’m hoping that’s not the only reason they chose to include it.

I would absolutely lose it if Spider-Man 2 was somehow revealed to be a co-op campaign between Peter and Miles. The mechanics of something like It Takes Two and A Way Out mixed with the fantastic gameplay of the first two Spidey games probably sounds much better on paper than it would be in execution…but let me dream, darn it!

Downloaded this morning with PS Plus! Miss my family’s two little cats (who lacked the most creative of names, literally “Stimpy” and “Kitty”). Very excited for this one!

Others are already touching on this, but does anyone have a suggestion of where I can start off with MGS 1? Would love to play 2 and 3 eventually, but def don’t wanna start with those. I only have a PS5 but it would be great if they at least added the PS1 version alongside their other retro titles…

Still in the minority here but I’m remaining optimistic for this one. I’m just a sucker for a pretty trek through Middle Earth. Will probably wait for reviews but I really want this to be good and hopefully surprise all the naysayers.

Wow!! I can’t claim to be a part of that community myself, but I’m always so blown away by projects like this. Clearly a lot of passion and hard work to yield a very beautiful end result.

Mostly stoked for Crash like the majority. Finally got around to the trilogy on Switch last year, so this is great timing for me personally!
