Nickelodeon All Star Brawl PS5 PS4

Here's something you don't regularly see in patch notes: this month's PlayStation Plus game Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will be getting voice acting via an update available today. You'll be able to "enjoy the quips and grunts of your favourite brawlers as you play", as well as make use of items in stages, which are also new to the fighting title. It's been confirmed the voices come from a mixture of the original actors as well as sound-alikes.

Tom Kenny reprises his role as SpongeBob, as does Bill FagerBakke as side-kick Patrick. Carolyn Lawrence is once again Sandy, and Townsend Coleman is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Michelangelo. For a full list of the voice actors, click the link. Alongside the two main additions is a long list of balance changes, including ones for stages and characters like Sandy, Shredder, and Danny Phantom. As for universal tweaks, airdashing has been nerfed ever so slightly and self-hit lag is no longer a thing when attacking a blocking enemy.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl joins PS Plus tomorrow along with God of War and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. 46 per cent of you voted the latest lineup to be a "crap" one in the latest Push Square poll. Does voice acting change your opinion at all? Have at it in the comments below.
