Re: All Free PS Plus Games in 2021

LeeHarveyOzgod

My ps plus subscription just auto renewed in June, but I think I'm going to turn that off and cancel it. These games simply aren't any good, and any good game you get ... Any serious gamer already played or owned.

At this point I'm more happy with my psnow subscription then worthless ps plus. Don't play multiplayer anyway.

Re: Death Stranding Director's Cut PS5 Upgrade Costs $10

LeeHarveyOzgod

I think the content and the upgrade is well worth ten bucks, especially since ten bucks isn't ***** these days.

I don't know however if I want to play death stranding again. I played it through and for the most part enjoyed it the first time, but I just don't think it's the type of game I could get into again.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Games for March 2021?

LeeHarveyOzgod

PS plus has been good to me this year, thankfully so as there isn't much to play on PS5.

I enjoyed and got the platinum on Man-eater.

My girlfriend got the platinum for Concrete Genie.

I'm playing Control and absolutely loving it, had I known it was this good I would have gladly paid 60 bucks for it. Probably the most use I've had from ps plus in a long time

Re: Talking Point: What Content Do You Want from Push Square?

LeeHarveyOzgod

I want more reviews and coverage of new games... But wait... There is nothing coming out. I literally have nothing to play on my PS5 until maybe April, possibly May.

Nothing you guys can do about that. Much like Movie critics have been out of jobs the last year.

I fear we are going to hit a bubble soon where we get a real drought in about 2 years as a direct aftershock from Covid.

Re: Game of the Year: #10 - The Pathless

LeeHarveyOzgod

It's good, I didn't get to finish because I fell off a mountain and didn't feel like spending hours trying to figure how to get back to the top.

Some of the puzzles are clever. If this is a top ten game of the year it's been a ***** year.

Decent at best.

Re: Poll: Did You Get a PS5?

LeeHarveyOzgod

Honestly it's not like it's a bad console, there is just nothing captivating to play on it.

It's pay me now or pay me later so I have mine now under the idea that eventually I will have good games to play.

But my opinion right now would be save your money, your not missing anything here.

P.s. the controller is nice

Re: PS5 Pre-Order Mess Put into Perspective as Xbox Buyers Are Also Forced to Scramble

LeeHarveyOzgod

You can blame Sony for not giving us a concrete time table.

You can't blame them for Walmart jumping the gun and everyone following.

Or for websites that can't handle the volume of people.

I wanted a PS5 and was able to secure one, even if I couldn't get the version I wanted.

Tried to get an Xbox to scalp like a scumbag and I couldn't get through anywhere.

It seems giving an exact time frame only made it harder because there was more volume.

Re: All PS Plus Collection Games on PS5

LeeHarveyOzgod

@Tha_Likely_Lad I just don't know. There is very few PS5 games coming all together and it doesn't seem like there is going to be a plethora of indie games at launch like there was for PS4.

It will be a while before we get free ps5 games and since this selection is for only ps5 games it stands to reason it will take it's place for the time being.

That said since all PS4 games are backward compatible, I guess we can still play those on ps5..

Re: All PS Plus Collection Games on PS5

LeeHarveyOzgod

I can't complain about this as it's a great selection of games for people to play who might have missed them. Personally I already own 13 of these... So not much value for me.

I wonder if this takes the place of the 2 free games a month?

Re: All PS5 Launch Games

LeeHarveyOzgod

Other than Spiderman it looks like I'll be playing PS4 games on my PS5 for a while.

Not even interested in ubisoft latest versions of assassin's creed and watch dogs and I used to love those series.

I'll replay Spiderman for a new platinum trophy when that remaster comes, other than that I don't see much until Far Cry 6

Re: Review: Batman: The Telltale Series - Episode 2: Children of Arkham (PS4)

LeeHarveyOzgod

Who plays a Tell Tale game and cares about production values? We are here for the story, are we not?

Anyway, this was semi disappointing. For started it was quite possibly the shortest Tell Tale game episode ever, I finished it drunk in 2 hours. I was worried about not being able to finish, but it was over before I knew it.

I do like that we finally got a chance between approaching a situation as either Bruce or Batman, hoping there is ramifications to that in future episodes.

Otherwise the story was pretty slow and bland up until making a couple important decisions at the very end.

Re: Review: BioShock: The Collection (PS4)

LeeHarveyOzgod

Love the franchise, normally do not complain about review scores, but I just want to note that neither The Last Of Us or GTA 5 offered up any new content and they received more favorable scores. Three games with an over 93 average Metacritic for the price of 1 game seems like a heck of a value.

Re: Poll: Should the PS4 Pro Have a UHD Blu-ray Player?

LeeHarveyOzgod

Just because I am all digital as is anyone who is not a hoarder, does not mean that it should not have an HD Bluray player. The reason it should not have one is to keep the price down (I am well aware of the Xbox One S). The technology is not going anywhere any time soon. Anyone with a 4K television should have already invested in a stand alone player anyway. I honestly did not even know HD 4k Bluray was even a thing that existed until people started crying about its exclusion

Re: Fallout 4: Nuka World Goes Live Tonight on PS4

LeeHarveyOzgod

@johncalmc

This. I got the platinum but the story was so boring and none of the choices mattered and nothing impacted the world, ta all. I bought every single dlc for fallout 3 and new Vegas and didn't spend 1 single cent on fallout 4 dlc. I feel bad for people who bought season pass since fallout had an excellent reputation for dlc

Re: Soapbox: Why Sony Needs to Change Its Refund Policy

LeeHarveyOzgod

@Rsco6969 I some what agree, we are still responsible for what we purchase. Do I think we should get refunds because it doesnt look like the trailers? No, we were duped and that is that. I would hope we all learned something from this experience though. The fact that the trailers were so spectacular and yet they were unwilling to literally talk about any aspect of the game should have been a red flag for me and next time it will be. The review embargo and the desperation to keep people from playing early copies that were essentially unchanged should have been an indication. I watched live streams and should have learned from that, so I really do have to blame myself, and I have learned from this.

Re: Soapbox: Why Sony Needs to Change Its Refund Policy

LeeHarveyOzgod

@stevejcrow I agree. People need to educate themselves, however people should not be discouraged from buying a game day 1 and finding out that it crashes more than any game in PS4 history. I believe the crashing and broken nature in that sense is some what unpredictable and the type of thing that might warrant a refund. I probably crashed over 60 times, im actually just 1 trophy away from the platinum and I am not asking for a refund as I do believe I got my moneys worth from No Mans Sky. But if developers want us to buy games day 1, they cant continue to embargo everything then deny refunds when we find out not only did we not get what we expected, but what we got is a crashing mess.

Re: Here's How Resident Evil 4 Looks on the PS4

LeeHarveyOzgod

I cant do it anymore. Haha. I bought it day one on Gamecube. I bought it on PS2 and I bought it on PS3. Unless this was a remake from ground up with modern controls and graphics I cannot keep purchasing the same games. I will be getting the Bioshock collection though haha

Re: Soapbox: Why Sony Needs to Change Its Refund Policy

LeeHarveyOzgod

@Ralizah To be fair I dont think I crashed once in the first 2 hours. However since release I likely have crashed over 60 to 70 times. Sony should be able to see this since I turned all of the crashes in. Still, I am satisfied and not looking for a refund, but if I was under these circumstances I think I should be entitled considering the difficulties I have had and reported. I dont think people deserve refunds because they simply dont like the end product. Yeah, there was tons of bullshot trailers, nobody forced us to buy day one and there is plenty of outlets to find out how good or bad a game is prior to buying. But a game like No Mans Sky that constantly crashes for no reason, if a Sony rep can look at your account and see you have turned in numerous crash reports, you should be entitled to refund.
