Re: Soapbox: Why Sony Needs to Change Its Refund Policy

LeeHarveyOzgod

Great piece Push Square, one of the best ive seen on this site. Honestly, to institute a refund policy, there would be many scumbags who abuse it, but there is just as many people who work hard for their money that might deserve a refund. No Mans Sky is the perfect example. While I did enjoy the game, the game is NOTHING like it was presented to us in bullshot videos over the years. Forget about the Sean Murray lying fiasco. Just look at these videos and tell me you have seen anything even REMOTELY close to being that awesome in the game. I do believe Sean and his team did their best with good intentions, but these videos we were shown do not even remotely resemble the game and the fact that they refused to talk about any features of the game prior to release ... example its nothing but a grind fest, was even more mis leading to the hardcore gamer, I cant imagine how fooled the average Joe and general public was.

Re: Ensure You Have Enough Cash for Resident Evil 4 on PS4, Stranger

LeeHarveyOzgod

Does Capcom have any resident evil games left to remake? Resident evil one was remade twice, then we got resident evil 0 remade along with 5 and 6. Resident evil 4 is one of the best games ever, I had it on gamecube, ps2 and ps3, and here we are again. Capcom is bleeding us dry instead of producing new content... obviously I'm well aware of the new game, but it will likely be a 10 hour if that game since it's fully vr. Blah, I'm not buying this unless it's like 10 bucks. What would be different from the ps3 version I already own?

We need to stop buying all these remakes and force publishers to invest in new content, now if you'll excuse me I just got borderlands 2 remake on psn sale lol

@Tasuki

Eh there is a difference between a cowboy walking in a bar and shooting it up and soldiers shooting soldiers in series that are known for nothing else. I still find it strange that they ended with days gone. I believe somethinGod else was there, even if it wasn't red dead. My initalics feeling was last of us 2 teaser but maybe they pulled it because show was so strong...

I dunno

I thought Sony had its best showing ever. No indies, even though they have taught me to like some of them, anything that looks like it can be played on an nes doesn't belong on stage.

Ubisoft wasn't as strong as usual and Bethesda was doomed after last year's phenomenal showing.

Sony first party was strong enough to make this a great e3 for me.

Mafia 3 looks outstanding too...

@Gamer83

I agree, worst yet other games have adapted it. I couldn't finish ac syndicate, first one ever and I still haven't played far cry primal and I platinum ed the last two far cries.

Of what I saw I'm thinking watch dogs will be the only game they showed using this format, however they did manage to sneak it even into the crew.

Either way based on games and new ips alone they are much better than a d minus.

To rate my own...

I didn't watch ea because they don't have a single game that interests me but it's clear nobody liked it.

Bethesda would be a c. At least they showed something new. They were doomed, no pun intended following an excellent showcase last year.

Ubisoft would be a c plus. I'd give it a b if not for all the stupid interviews, we don't need someone to introduce every game, that's what the rest of e3 is for. Still they are the only one pushing as many new ip as Sony and taking risks. Plus aisha is fun.

Microsoft is a b. Honestly their best yet, I was nervous Sony couldn't top. Releasing an Xbox slim shouldn't be praised. That machine should have never been so big to begin with. Also who wants to buy a slim if another console is coming next year?

Sony is an a. They killed it. Perfect pacing, kojima, release dates, and awesome games. I love Lego games but didn't think star wars deserved show time with so many other games we've heard nothing about. Also strange to split up days end, should have just been 1 big segment at the end, made it slightly anti climatic.
