I like that capcom are bringing something different to the table. They could have easily done you run of the mill shooter. I'm looking forward to this

Well I'll be skipping the PS6 generation completely. I've really not enjoyed this generation at all. The games being released just aren't for me. I don't know what it is but the games from the PS4 gen were more my cup of tea. See you all on PS7... Hopefully

Maybe instead of pumping all those millions into big budget live service games like concord etc. when obviously they haven't a clue how to execute a full on live service game.

Maybe they should have invested time money and effort into maybe like semi live service games instead. Like Gran turismo that seems to do well for them.

I don't mind games with some live service elements in them personally as long as the things they are pushing are optional.

Think assassin's creed Valhalla that had live service elements in I believe too.

Another option is to maybe invest in smaller live service projects like Helldivers 2 that's worked out well for them.

For me this will be a tough one to nail. They must get the tone of the books and the games spot on. I just think if they change that to make it into something else then it just won't be right.

It's a well made gameand I'm happy people enjoy it. For me it was over rated and over hyped.

AI is not going to be stopped. We are at a pivotal point in human history and there is no turning back. Grok 4 just became the most powerful AI, it will all only accelerate and improve.

So game development will also become more efficient and cost effective.

I don't know what the answer is for all the people losing their jobs due to AI.

When AGI is cracked then it won't take long until ASI.

My only hope is that the world becomes a better place for it.

But I guess time will tell.

@djlard isn't that just personal preference though? The characters from what I've seen look great in Intergalactic. I don't see any problem personally. 🤷

I have a question, the article said it was only available on PS3. I'm sure I had the game on my Xbox 360. Or does the author mean on playstation consoles?

@djlard I agree the story and characters are important but I see nothing wrong with Intergalactic or the characters so far. I'm looking forward to it. What do you not like about what you've seen of Intergalactic so far?

I think now is the time for another FPS war game to come in and give the cod players what they really want. Or even hope that Battlefield can swoop in with a Bad Company 3 that's as good as battlefield used to be.

I'm interested in this new Xbox/pc. But I'll wait for a full reveal and see what's what.

I won't be buying a ps6 as the ps5 for me has been a disappointment gameswise. Just not my type of games being released.

I'll keep my ps5 though as we know it will take about 3 or 4 years for cross gen to end with ps5. So if anything does tickle my fancy I can play it.

What i don't understand is how they can't easily port it to ps5. It isn't locked to ps3 as it was also on Xbox 360.

Didn't renew my ps plus when it expired last year in June. Now I just buy the games I want to play and don't miss it at all.

Also my life has got pretty busy outside of gaming so I also have less time to game

Excellent review and great review score for a game made by a small team on not a massive AAA budget.

Please let the big publishers take note that you do not have to create games with 100s if millions of dollars.

We as gamers are happy with great storytelling and gameplay

Personally I'd prefer the effort going into writing more reviews. For so.e smaller indie games

I was going to say I'm in no rush to get one but will do down the line. But I just can't justify paying £75 for a game. It's just too much. I don't pay £70 for a new game now on my ps5. But Nintendo games don't drop in price. So now I feel I'm getting priced out of gaming. This is coming from an adult who has his own business. But with the cost of living so high now. I think this is going to be a pass for me. 😔

Think I'll save this one for my switch 2 when I eventually get one

@PcTV yes exactly. Regulation is needed. It may not be able to keep up with the fast paced but having any kind of regulation is definitely needed

Seriously anyone who isn't informed about AI and where it is going really needs to do some research.

A quick search on YouTube for the 10 levels of AI would be a good start.

I'm happy for people who like and enjoy these kind of games but to me being a little ignorant about the genre, they all look the same to me and I don't see the difference between them all
