@ORO_ERICIUS This was a feature in the first two titles and others, such as the Hearts of Iron series. It's common enough in shooters like Battlefield , Red Orchestra, and Hell Let Loose too, but I understand the sentiment.

I loved it; fantastic direction to take characters we didn't really get to know in the game. Admittedly did miss the whole high school sequence, but I'm sure there is still plenty of action to come.

@Perturbator Phoenix Point is also kind of awesome, in a less polished and more janky kind of way haha

@KidBoruto from what I understand, you need to beat the game on New Game+ to see the alternate ending. Optimal playthrough would be hard first time around, beating that unlocks impossible difficulty, and then play through New Game+ on impossible for the associated trophies

@KAIRU It is in a much better place, especially compared to the beta which almost scared me off, but honestly, I couldn't recommend it. We are in a weird place now where Call of Duty is doing Battlefield better than Battlefield, and Warzone at least is free haha

@Northern_munkey pretty much my experience too, really wanted to enjoy 2042 more, and it does seem to be heading in the right direction. That being said, haven't been able to stop playing MW2 since it dropped, especially loving DMZ

@Northern_munkey I'm genuinely fascinated to see if 30fps truly is a deal breaker for the audience at large. Like, it is for me, and I'll pick this one up on PC. But I legitimately don't know if that matters to a more casual gamer, someone who just loves Batman and doesn't often read gaming websites. Hopefully, we get some sales numbers and find out!

@Gloamin Totally fine to jump in, there are a couple of references to the first game, but you aren't missing too much

@Gamer_Guy I personally think Wrath is the better of the two, Kingmaker is fantastic in its own right, though, and well worth a play. Maybe check Kingmaker out, that way you can see if the Pathfinder formula works for you in a low risk way

@somnambulance me too! The next Dark Pictures game, The Devil In Me, is putting an emphasis on expanded gameplay, so hopefully, that will extend to this project as well

Progress was reset during the closed alpha, which took place back in May, but not during the early access beta period, which just ended. There won't be any resets going forward. No wonder they needed to put out a statement

@nessisonett it’s an interesting situation, because while I love animals in general and my Dachshund in particular, I have no qualms about hunting in a game like Red Dead Redemption. Hunting in a modern setting does somehow more callous, but I can’t really put my finger on why 🧐
