@testyardallen Actually it has been confirmed by a story writer at bungie that the measures described in the Rasputin grimmoire card were never run by the warmind - he did plan it but never executed it - the Traveler stayed for some reason whether it chose to do so or just couldn't escape the deep anymore.

Destiny lore is just so immense these days, if you are interested in it and never heard of these dudes, the people over at Destiny Ghost Stories have podcasts focusing on all things lore!

Also, this is too soon! I still need to catch up on so much of my bloody backlog, this will set me back a year at least!

I have promised myself to return to this game as soon as the year anniversary comes, I only played about 10 hours of it tops, never left my initial galaxy, but I was left feeling like it wasn't the game I hope it was, so I decided to wait on it to become that. It's being really hard now though, the latest updates have been excellent.

I can honestly say I make the most use out of Vita games form the PS+ subscription, so turning it into PS4 only would definitely be a bad move for me.

Come on man, the Order may have been short, but what it had was brilliant! If it wasn't Demo sized, it had the potential to be one of the best games of 2015, the weapons were great and the concept was really great.

I preordered it mind you, I was and still am disappointed, consider it a waste of money that not even No Man's Sky managed to beat, but to say it never looked like much is just not true. I do wish they make a sequel and really show this IP for what is worth.

@playstation1995 it's easy to be a badass when you're the God of War, or just an extremely angry demi-god with access to overpowered weapons of legend and no conscience whatsoever.

I will be waiting until they fix more of the game before I start. The game can still be what they envisioned, they did so much with the foundation update, but having only spent enough time to jump to another solar system, I will hold on to it until the game looks somewhat closer to our initial expectations.

@mrobinson91 And even then I don't know if I'm jumping back in it at any point, got to 400 on all toons already, and got plenty to play. But I do love the armor set for VoG haha

It'll turn out to be the new Sparrow Racing League, calling it now. And developments for bringing the old raids back, in any way that may come.

Can I just say I called it with regards to labour of love and the ability to patch the game on the fly to address any unbalanced aspects and so on?

Nah, hope everyone shares this opinion as well, because this whole timed exclusives don't work. You either go all the way to have the game on one system, or you release it for all, but to expect people to pay full price for a year old game, it's beyond ridiculous.

Ah, someone else interested in lore here? It has got a great deal of Lore, Destiny, but they made it quite detached from the game. The stories are incredible though, I do hope they get serious about it with Destiny 2.

And if you play often enough Ben, join in on our Destiny Group Chat on the PS, it's pretty much dead at the moment, but when RoI comes out things should get lively again.

After all the hype for The Order and it being about 3 hours long, I'm not really worried about this at all. At least it will deliver a huge game, as promised. I've been playing Destiny since release, so I'm ok with a bit of repetition, that won't kill it for me at all.

Collector's Edition pre-ordered since May, so you bet I'm biased!

Edit: Also, Sean an team look like the kind of people that would spend a good while tweaking the game to get the experience just right. This is their masterpiece, they know that, they have their heart and soul on it, and I honestly believe they will support this game for a good while before moving on to something else.

Got the limited edition incoming with all the goodies, you could say I'm well excited.

Remasters was all I wanted. PLEASE make Crash Team Racing a reality again, to me it still is the best of Crash Games.

So, I've been playing Fallout 4 lately, and I have to say sometimes, the frame rate drops like the bass in a particularly sick dubstep tune.

Will this be the same? I'd rather play a game with bad graphics and have it flow incredibly well.

@kyleforrester87 mate, there are people that upon day one of the update spent hundreds of quid trying to get sterling boxes to drops taken armor and stuff, then spektar armor, then spektar armor that actually has the same chroma colours, and right intellect/discipline/strength stats for their preferred subclass. They must be making heaps of cash on boxes that drop light level 3 unique armor pieces that may or may not be of use to you if you're that precious about stats and don't want your guardian to look like a Picasso of chroma coloring.
Believe me when I say, it is being well paid for already with that ingenious idea!

@get2sammyb plot twist: He's actually not going to take anything - he's going to find out something has gone terribly wrong with some ancient treasure, lead bad guys to it, realize he has to destroy it/bury it, go home empty handed.

See, I'm not that bothered about the whole VR experience. I will definitely acquire the hardware ASAP, but what I'm looking forward the most is the ability of having it as my primary screen.
Currently, it does feel like playing through a window, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it feels like cinematic mode would bridge that gap quite well. And that for me is the true appeal of the VR headset, I don't think I'll use it for actual virtual reality for quite a while.
Example: I had the Kinect before, and while it was fun for a moment, I really lost interest, it was nothing but a gimmick really, it's not why I play, so I'll put myself on this argument as many others, I want to come home and relax, I don't want the whole playing a game to be an hassle, I don't want to have to overengage with a series of gimmicky hand and whole body movements, I want to sit on my sofa, grab the controller, pop on the helmet, have the added immersion and maybe I'd even be open to head movement tracking for camera shift and stuff - but that is as far as I'm willing to go with it really.
I may well change my mind, but of course I'm also limited with the actual space I have for this activity, which makes me think it's not going to happen even more, if it requires you to clear out a room for it.

@Alpha @KratosMD Yeah, I knew which ones they got, that was why I was asking. It is in the best interest of Sony to keep this sort of offer going, and to be honest it's not like they have any competition going on with Xbox in this, no one is joining because of the GWG offer, comparatively with IGC.

And let's not forget the light cap going up with the Spring update, so this is more of a "here you go guys, have a top light level ghost shell, that will be virtually useless as soon as the update goes live in a couple of weeks".

In any case, my and @ZeroXyko14 still had a wonderful time completing the bounties, i completed them on all 3 of my characters too, which netted me a few silly emoticons and a new sparrow! The mode itself is not quite to my liking, I'm real bad at small team tactics, which is why my Trials of Osiris attempts have been disastrous at best.

Anyone wanna carry me through to the lighthouse? Need the grimoire card.

I've let Destiny go for a while, catching up on other games, went in this week to try out Crimson Doubles, disappointing as hell, and thought that it would be great to get the old folks together to raid again, I've been picking up random groups since the heroic came out and people got off Destiny a bit, until I got off of destiny a couple of months ago.

Anyone else wanna run KF on normal sometime soon?

Looks a bit like that PlanetSide thing thing that confused me profoundly and I never really touched it again after trying out the Beta.

@themcnoisy but that is the beauty of it, the full game is there for everyone to enjoy still, you're paying for stuff that you can easily grab in multiple ways! Whoever did pay for that, like whoever pays for any level 26 upgrade, is either lazy, stupid of both!

Really, you have not played Destiny since TTK if you think anyone would buy synths with actual money. First off, they now drop from the chests regularly in Kings Fall. Secondly, the raid itself requires less shooting at things and more mechanics to follow, I can go through the whole raid with only using 4 weapons - Treads Upon Stars + Black Spindle or Touch of Malice + Eirene, if I need to buy any sort of synths, which I haven't for ages, it would be for special ammo, and those drop like crazy anyway.

So why would anyone would ever buy synths is beyond me, this is not like Crota where you'd need to pop a synth after every rotation to stagger Crota, or rush into the Deathsinger's room and Gally the crap out of her, no one needs this these days. How is that pay to win? If anything, if anyone buys any of what Bungie is offering then they are immensely stupid, waste money that could buy you a game, possibly two, in leveling a character up to a mediocre level that you would find yourself one day after playing the game? Please, Bungie may have a lot to answer two about this second year, regarding 70% of the whole game content being useless now, end game is a RNG joke that may or may not bring your level up, nightfalls are useless without the buffs and proper rewards of year 1, no actual content in sight, but if they are making any money off of what they are selling, they are bloody geniuses!

@themcnoisy To be honest anyone that stuck with them from day 1 were screwed. All those raids and gear, all the money you gave them, to have these folks coming in now paying about 20 quid to have what you paid anywhere from 80 to 140, to not just have lost the biggest part of the game, but to get nothing of worth in return for your loyalty, and effectively making Destiny what it is now, or better, what it was at the start of year two.
