Pre-Ordering The Division on PSN No Longer Gets You Access to the PS4 Beta

Ι did that two days ago. Watch as the servers get flooded with hundreds of thousands of extra players and at the end, nobody will be able to play.

I'll read the reviews before buying.

I pre ordered this game over a year ago and I still didn't get a code!

I did this with Amazon and I inputted my Download Code and it was redeemed correctly, but the Beta isn't in my Download List, only the Media Tab on the browser. How do I preload ? :

I've pre-ordered to get the beta...but if the beta is good then I'll keep my pre-order live.

I got the beta from my playstation store pre order. I dont see any way of cancelling it though. Figured i would see if its really possible. How do you cancel a pre order?

We will have trouble getting on because all them tight gits who are gonna buy it anyways have pre-ordered then cancelled. The server's won't be able to handle it. Y cancel. Just shows u some people will do anything just to play a game for a few days for free. Your goin to buy it anyways??? Well the one's that can afford the lifestyle that is😀.

I will play the beta as I have a preorder. The beta will never be perfect so I will not be able to tell if its good or not until I get the full game. If the full game is no good then just sell later not really losing much if your selling it within the first couple of week of it coming out.

Really suprised this was not picked up on earlier as its been common knowledge on a number of websites. Not really a secret.

@porllM try typing in your code on the redeem code on the psn store it should then give you the option to download the game.

Never was a problem when we actually had demos to decide. Fair play to the people who actually wanted to try the game before dropping 50 on it! Life will find a way.

You can do this by pre-ordering from Amazon and Game too...

@Lloydeeee i didnt say i was going to cancel it. I was wondering how you would. Ive had my brother pre order a game on my account before and i just kept it cuz i didnt know you could cancel pre orders. Ive never seen anyway of canceling anything before. I thought all purchases where final.

So preorder from Amazon for your code instead.
I'm looking forward to the beta tomorrow, hopefully like Destiny it makes me really hyped for the full game so I can play more.

Has anyone tried the LFG site the100.io?? I signed up and am in the group DELTA COMPANY 799 if any of you would like to hook up? Better yet, if anyone would like to create a pushsquare group I would be happy to join that one as well?? Would like going into the dark zone with other like minded individuals. Let me know??

You're allowed to cancel preorders on the EU store, but not the US store. Most likely has to do with regional consumer protection laws.

@idangermouse I think you should be ok if you have already downloaded it because it means you have redemeed your code

I knew before playing the beta, (which I will play tomoz) that I WILL definitely be buying this game. I just don't see the point in getting the beta just to cancel it. If people need to do that just to get a couple of days of free play ( restricted mind). Well i just find that a bit desperate. I wasn't on about u though!!!

@SuperNictendo they said they would cancel it? I might have to do that. I ordered it on impulse and am kinda kicking myself for it cuz im thinking i would prefer a hard copy of this game rather then the digdown.

@Lloydeeee im pretty confident this game is gonna be worth keeping. Im tired of the cod series and battlefield moved in the wrong direction hardline. Ive heard about this game for a few years and after watching the darkzone video it lookes a bit more interesting then the usual run and gun shooters.

Wow looks neat this, and a Beta, woo hoo, wow must be a big deal these commenters cant wait. Woo hoo.... Oh Ubisoft, errr I'll pass.

@Xxplayer74xx yea. Even if they didnt I'd probably keep pushing til they did. Their site says they don't charge til 2-3 days before the release and you can cancel before then

@Xxplayer74xx me too. I ain't even bothered buying cod blk ops 3. I'm bored of them kind of shooters, I bought star wars, played it for about an hr and ain't played it since. Same with rainbow six, which I did like a little bit more because the concept is different. I'm looking forward to this yr though! Some wicked games coming out. Uncharted 4, division. Tomb raider and loads of really good adventure games. I used to love first person shooters! They just got samey boring and that futuristic has put me right off them advanced warfare was probably the last one of the cod franchises I will buy, unless they take it back to black ops 2 and the mod warfare but even then, well like I said same p00p different maps really.

I am glad people abuse the system and cancel the preorder and got the beta. It serves Ubisoft since this damn game should be free for beta access to get a true stress test of their servers. I signed up for the beta but I be damn if I preorder a game I don't know if it's any good. I will be shocked if I get picked to play the beta. People want to slam battlefront which I love that game. Batttlefront beta was free to all with no strings attached and convinced me it was a great game. I have played battlefront for well over 50 hrs. It needs new modes, planets and heroes or villians but it still is a great game. I have a sinking suspicion that division will be another Ubisoft bust or just meh.

Batttlefront sold 13 million copies so it must have done something right. Those that don't like battlefront had unrealistic expectations but the season pass content and free stuff will keep people playing all yr long. I have watched YouTube videos about people who played the division beta and a lot aren't impressed. They say it's not a bad game but it's not great either. I saw way too many videos from the division beta that the spongy gun play takes way too many bullets to take out your foe.

I used this method to gain access to the beta but tbh the beta should be handed out to everyone without preordering the game. you might not even like the game so why put your money into it??

@themcnoisy Same. My Ubi boycott remains intact after watching some of the preview footage a couple of weeks back. I hope to be wrong, but I foresee repetitive content, nickel and diming, server issues and the new dreaded phrase "season pass" for this years DLC!

Why should beta be free access to all its rare that it ever is. Mostly its if you have a code to play the beta. Its a test of the system not a demo.

So if you are like me did not read or know any of this but decided I wanted to get the game min and pre ordered on psn and have no intention of cancelling I am just never getting into the beta
