Ubisoft has released a live-action trailer in honour of the 15th anniversary of the Assassin's Creed franchise, which will likely be capped off by this weekend's Ubisoft Forward showcase, where the rumours suggest multiple new AC games, including one finally set in Japan, will be revealed.
The trailer itself is pretty cool, and surprisingly nostalgic, although there is always a level of hokiness whenever live-action and video games intersect. Still, it's cool to see Eivor and Kassandra, Ezio and Connor, and, for better or worse, how far the Assassin's Creed franchise has come in the past decade and a half.

Cool trailer and it's about time they're making one set in Japan (allegedly) so that'll sell a lot for sure.
Talk about one big celebratory monument to franchise-milking. I say this as a observer to this series who has barley touched any of the games, though If pressed I could manage II and IV.
I had to sit through the Ezio trilogy and Black Flag because my younger brother stuck them on my profile without getting the Plat/100%, and I absolutely cannot understand why people like this series (outside of Odyssey and Valhallah, which I haven't played). Trite, uninspired open worlds, and that's by PS3 - not PS5 - standards.
Man I feel old , 😅 seriously 15 years man hopefully they'll celebrate this landmark by making actual Assassin's Creed games again.....and good ones. GIVE SHAO JUN A PROPER AAA AC GAME YOU COWARDS!!!!!

I thought the hot rumor was that AC1 was being remade and given away as part of the new AC Mirage game.
Hopefully Ubi will sort out the PS5 performance of Syndicate and repatch Unity to run them both 60fps at same time.
Ubisoft are always great at these live action or animated Assassin's Creed trailers.
The Assassin's Cred Revelations Trailer still stands out in particular
@Futureshark They've actually been pretty good at going back to Origins and Odyssey so this isn't impossible. Damn shame right now that Syndicate is borked on PS5. Just about the only major game to still have big issues after Shadow Complex got patched for PS5.

@Futureshark I like to think that is why they have been showing each AC backwards in their streams every week. It should be wrapping up with AC1 this week so what better day to announce it.
The trailer is amazing!! Loved it!!
Odyssey is my favourite of the series. You get to go on a massive adventure across the ancient Greek Isles and play as a very likeable protagonist (Kassandra). Love it.
