I love pixel graphics, but the artwork here, is just bland and boring, with an ugly color scheme. Wouldn't surprise me, if some backgrounds were made with AI.
If they wouldn't fully commit to make it look like a proper 16 or 32bit pixel game, they should just have gone with 2,5D instead.
This high res pixel look, just don't work for me.

Well, at least we're getting a new Castlevania.

This was great!
I didn't expect much, after most of these have been disappointing, but I'm glad I watched it.

Sadly, that will probably never happen, as The Pokemon Company is WAY to cheap, to give them the time and money they need for that.

After the disappointment, seeing how mediocre the 2D God of War game looked, this was just what I needed. Welcome back Castlevania!

Only nine months later. I hope Sony keep up this faster pace, so the time between console and PC ports, are reduced even more.
I just love (and prefer) playing games, in ultrawide now.

I would rather have a 4K remastered version, of the original games. A remake, from modern Santa Monica, worries me. Especially if they make it in the style of the latest games, add hours of cutscenes, melodrama, and remove the naughty "mini games".
Stay faithful to the originals.

It's mostly stable in smaller areas (except for the hitches), but it's the more open areas, where it really struggles...

They'll probably announce Trails in the Sky: Chapter One Enhanced, with 75% more content...

Seriously though, I wish they would move on from the current engine, as all their games look the same now.
And would also love, if they didn't cram 1000s of main characters (yeah, I exaggerate, but still) in every game, just to add bloat.
And please cut down on the modern anime tropes.
A reboot of Ys would be nice, returning to what made the older games great. The last two have been VERY disappointing.

But no, touch controlls are terrible.
No tactile feedback, and you can't feel if your thumbs are actually touching the "buttons" or not. Doubt this will be made at all. There's an insane amount of patents being made every day, that are just concepts and crazy ideas, and "just in case we'll make one".

Not interested, until they add a feature, to actually connect directly to the PS5, without having to use WIFI. The lag became too noticeable on faster games.
If Nintendo could do it 14 years ago, on Wii U (with zero lag), then it shouldn't be a problem for Sony either?
That way could also be used as a dual screen, with maps and inventory, on the portal screen, just like Wii U.

Looks like a bug, that removed every effect, and left it at Low settings.

The combat looks worse than Hellblade 2, and the dialogue is so bad it could be written by AI, fed with all the clichés.
The facial animations, yikes.
But the biggest crime, is that hilariously bad haircut...
It's like they took the worst parts, of western developed games, and used AI to try to make an "AAA" styled game out of it.

Synth Raiders has MUCH better music, and more fun to play.
Won't shed any tears, for Beat Saber fading away.

TCL have made panels for Sony, for years now.
And the latest TCL displays have been great, with better viewing angles.
If I didn't own an Oled, then I would probably pick up a high end TCL. Great gaming TV:s as well, with some of the lowest input lag on the market.

After the mediocre Oblivion remaster, I don't expect much from this.

The PS5, at least PRO, should be able to run this at a much higher framerate, than 60. It's games from the PS3 era after all. They should add an unlocked framerate mode, so it could go higher.
But still, the 60fps update, is welcome.
Plenty of PS4 games, that should get a 60FPS update.

I don't care anymore. After Fallout 76 and Starfield, I have zero hopes about the game.
And announcing the game, before work had begun on the game, is one of the dumbest mistakes, in the history of videogames.

Just like most other developers, the team who worked on the classics, are long gone now.

There is a reason why it's not called God of War 4, as It's considered a Soft reboot, continuing the story, but having massive changes to the gameplay.

I played and finished both the 2018 game and Ragnarök.

Oh for f**ks sake.
Why ignore the original story line, and jump to the reboot? We all know how this will go, as there will be the typical tv show "soap opera" crap, between father and son. There will be 50 minutes of drama and then something spectacular finally happen, in the last 2-3 minutes, leaving us with a cliffhanger, that will quickly be solved in the opening 3 minutes of the next episode. Rinse and repeat.
This needed to be a big budget blockbuster movie, where they have the budget to really deliver the goods....

As a Swede, I'm so damn tired of the north mythology being milked over and over again.
The Ancient Greece setting, would have made it much more epic.

Feels like the good old days, when developers released multiple games, each gen.
Even Capcom is releasing a bunch of great AAA titles this year.

So glad I upgraded RAM for my gaming PC, last year...
Hope things goes back to normal, before the end of the next year.

This isn't something new.
Even back in the 8 bit days, programmers slept a few hours in the office, as they didn't want to waste time traveling home and back, as those hours could be spent programming the game instead.
Especially when a game had to be released before Christmas.

With these prices, five years into the generation, I'm not surprised that the sales are down.

As expected.
The kind of games, that are popular in japan, is either on mobile, or available on the Switch consoles.
The interest in Western developed AAA games, is very low in Japan. Lowering the price isn't enough, to bring them back.

It's been 12 years, since I enjoyed one of their games, which was the original The Last of Us.
Though the last one I truly loved, was Uncharted 3.
Would it kill them to make a AA game, once in a while?

Hopefully "Intergalactic" is the return of FUN Naughty Dog games.
So damn tired of all the dark and depressing family dramas.

After playing the Steam demo, this is a day 1 for me.

Well, even as a hetero man, I would say that Nathan Drake, Indiana Jones (yes, he's a video game character as well), Leon Kennedy, Dante, Snake, Chris Redfield etc, fits the bill.

I started up my OG PS4 last night.
I still miss that UI. So many changes in the UI for PS5 that I still find annoying.

The PS4 have aged so well. Sure the loading is slower, but if I didn't own a PS5, I would still have a great time.

You can be BOTH sexy and strong.
Nothing wrong with looking good, while raiding the tombs and fighting badguys. It's a VIDEO GAME, not real life.

Still seems to be okay for MEN to be this, but not woman.

I played the demo on Steam. (Excellent PC port, btw)
This doesn't happen often these days, but I was hooked after just two minutes. Love the gameplay! The mix of action and hacking, instantly becomes second nature.

FINALLY something new and different, from a AAA developer.

Three to four hours?!
I would rather get all my teeth ripped out, slowly, than enduring that show, for four hours😱
Looking forward to look through the announcements, in the morning 😁
