So glad we're back in Raccoon City, and the return of classic Zombies, which hasn't been seen, in a new entry, since RE6.

I hope it's old-school Croft, and not the drama queen we got in the last game.

The usual result, of moving a classic IP into VR, mediocrity.

Would love to see what Capcom would make with the IP.
Maybe a Resident Evil X Dead Space spinoff 😁

Otherwise give it to Blooper Team.

I don't want Sony to buy the IP, as they would probably just turn it into "sad dad simulator" in space 😜

I expect a very pretentious and annoying result.
I'm so tired of the Hollywood influences in the video game world, especially todays Hollywood...
Just keep them separated.

Too me, the last good game Kojima made, was Metal Gear Solid 3.

I hope the handheld won't become the "series S" of the Playstation world, and hold back the PS6, from using the full potential.

I'd rather have a new PS handheld, with exclusive games, made ground up for the hardware, as it used to be with older handhelds.

It's the next Animal Crossing, set in hell.

This is one of my favorite franchises ever.
Except for some of the spin-offs, I've enjoyed every mainline game (yes even part 6, even though it's the worst one).

And it takes 100 hours to clear, not including side quests...
At 50, I just don't have the time or patience, for the bloated runtimes. I would just get bored after 30-40 hours, take a break, and never return to it...

Those are the improvements I was looking for.
Didn't expect any more anyway.
And I don't need controller gimmicks in every game.

Shovel Knight should have grown into a Mega Man styled franchise. Could have been up to Shovel Knight 8 by now, done in 32bit pixel style.

It's great that they added new stuff to the original, but they milked it for TOO long, with remixes, of the same stages.
Time for a proper sequel guys!

A problem lots of VR "games" suffer from, including the short playtime, with zero replay value. These kind of games should be available to play on PS+.

I can't even remember the gameplay in MGS4, only the long cutscenes, that felt like they would never end 😂

Would rather have an epic remake of the first game.

Considering how long it takes now, to make these AAA games, I would rather see brand new IP:s, instead of sequels.
It's the same with movies.

They should at least offer free upgrades, so we don't feel ripped off.
Same with Falcom, and Ys Nordics.
Just a couple of months, after buying the game, they announced the expanded re-release ...

The hardware itself, have been great, except for PSSR, which have been hit and miss.
Sadly, when it comes to native first party games, it's been the worst generation so far.
Way too many remakes and remasters.
Astrobot ,Stellar Blade and Rift Apart are probably the only ones I really enjoyed so far.
Though Wolverine looks promising.

Overall, the PS4 generation was MUCH better.
Definitely up there with the PS2.

Not sure yet if I will buy a PS6, or just stick with PC from now on. I'm definitely gonna wait a year. I don't want the first years to be packed with cross-gen and remasters again.

Well deserved.
It felt like a throwback, to the PS3 era.
I'm so happy that the east delivers kickass games again, as I'm so damn bored of AAA games from the west.

It's not a console. It's a living room gaming PC, that can also be used as a normal PC.
They're not trying to take over the console market.

FPGA/Emulation or modding your PS1/2/3, will be the only way too keep playing these games, for generations to come.

Love emulating PS3 games on PC.
Higher resolution and being able to unlock 30fps caps, to play games like Resistance in 60+fps, is great.

"Love" how you're automatically a weirdo, bigot or hater, if you don't fall to your knees and hail games like "Horizon" and "Last of Us", as the best thing ever.

The cult behavior is kinda hilarious.

The two layer gameplay, is what I loved about the demo. Same with the mayhem on screen.
So tired of reviewers counting difficulty as a negative. There is a reason why some of us still play hard arcade and NES games, as it's more rewarding to beat a difficult game, when you finally learn all the patterns.
Much better replay value.

A lot of us still enjoy RDR1, and I prefer it, to the bloated sequel.
Doesn't matter if a game is even 20-40 years old.
A good game, is still a good game, no matter how old it is.

My peronal GOTY is "Shinobi: Art of Vengeance".
With "Ninja Gaiden Ragebound" in second place and "Doom Dark Ages", in third place.

Though i still think that "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" deserves to win.
Prime example, that you don't need $300 million budgets, to make epic games.

No it's an alternative, that can live side by side with consoles.

We got so many games in the franchise, on PS2 and PS3...

These weren't first party Sony titles, so the developer can choose where they want to release them.
At the moment PC and Nintendo has a bigger audience for these kind of games.

$3.6 billion?! That's just insane...
Imagine all the games Sony could have made for that money, instead of wasting it on buying a studio.

Yotei has better gameplay, but I think I like them both equally.

Though I don't want a third game next.
I want them to do something new after this.
Don't want developers to be stuck doing the same franchise for generations to come.

Just like with most developers, who released a hit game 10-20 years ago, the latest sequel will crash and burn, due to having none of the original team and talents left among them.
Old BioWare is dead.

I don't trust any release dates.
Not until we are 3-4 weeks, from the release and no more delays have been announced.
I wish developers stopped announcing games, until they are 3-6 months from a release date, that is set in stone.
Would be less frustrating, when a game is delayed for years.
And that way they could show off actual gameplay, in the trailers, instead of only relying on cinematic ones, or even just a logo.

Wouldn't surprise me, if it gets delayed again, to 2027, as a release title for PS6...
