Re: Crimson Desert Looks 'Rough' on Base PS5, Here's 25 Minutes of Direct Capture Footage

The base PS5 are showing the age now..
The native resolutions, in performance modes, are so low, that upscaling can only do so much to help making the games sharper.
The Pro is really starting to deliver the goods, as PSSR2, in games like Alan Wake 2, are making huge improvements.
The base PS5 is still a good console, but games are becoming so demanding, that no matter how much fans want the generation to continue, Sony can't wait until 2029 to release
the PS6. The Pro will be able to survive longer though, thanks to PSSR2.

"No, it undermines game preservation"

Preservation...
Discs won't last forever (and neither will the consoles and disc drives), the best way, is to keep the iso files backed up digitally, with the latest patches included.

Basically every game, from the Atari 2600 up til today, is preserved digitally, for future generations to experience, through emulation, when the consoles have died.

It took me 12 hour to finish on standard mode.
Too me, that's the perfect length, of a single player game like this.
I often go back and replay RE games, from time to time, something I wouldn't do, if it took 50 hours to get through them.
I hate how open world games, have made people expect 50-100 hours, from ALL games now. I prefer quality before quantity, and I don't want a game, to waste my time. I'm 50 now, and I always loose interest in a game, around 20-30 hours. I just don't have the patience for bloat and filler crap.

I hope Capcom continues to make this kind of single player games, forever.
