@Bismarck people who think VR are rubbish is just people who haven't tried VR or perhaps someone that cannot stand with motion sickness. Also VR and AR is a new step of gaming evolution after 3d and ray tracing or even an evolution of 2d flat screen entertainment. Like it or not is part of the future with cloud tech . Is not yet mainstream but it will be in near future. It will not replacing normal games but it will enrich our platform of choice in gaming.

@Bismarck Yes, that's true. But somehow someone or some company needs to start somewhere. The tech will evolving meanwhile.

I just hope they have open area stage as well.

South Korean are famous for their triple A MMORPG with flashy realistic graphic. Black Dessert, upcoming games like Crimson dessert and DokeV are amazing with the graphic. I hope Sony can snatch one or two studios from South Korea

@vapidwolf The technology is not there yet, using wireless can create a lot of input lag (breaking the immersion and create nausea ) .

It also possible to build the PS5 inside the headset but it will add extra cost , weight , batteries and safety. Even if they want to they can just build PS4 processor inside of it (with an option to connect to PS5 using wire) but still it will add more cost and price.

For now let just hope the standard version is single cord while latter on they will give a peripheral like an add on for consumer to attach a wired antenna to the head set.

He is correct , ........ but to have a high end and immersive 4k 120 fps with real life like graphic and robust 3d graphic it need powerful CPU or consoles (PS5). And to connect VR to processing box , it required a wire. The wireless tech is still not mature (even high bandwidth broadband still has some lag) , the battery tech is still not mature . That's why company who aim for hardcore VR audience don't have any choices to include with wired. Hell even Facebook still selling Oculus Rift LMAO.

@get2sammyb I just feel that PSVR 1 is just a prototype for VR on PS console. PSVR2 will be the real deal

Out of topic , Imagine playing Horror games with this, Yup Siren, Silent Hill rumored and RE 8. I hope developer utilize this . PS5 is the only choices to play this type of games.

I think both fanboys are bad but the one on the top always got attacked the most due to hatred , it's just simple logic. PS fan always got attacked by angry Xbox fans loosing their favorable console on the market, and Xbox fan even has more time to troll rather playing games (due to probably they have lesser games in both quantity and quality).

LOL, the developer took the initiative. They knew their games is among 10 games that is not has back compatibility. I guess this show they still care for the fans. Good for them

I am a neutral party on this, i got spoiled by leak but i don't care i will enjoy the stories, even so, and more of the graphic and game play especially, and also i don't give a damn of LGBT or SJW stuff although i despise them or even oppose them in real life. But i will buy this games anyway because we all now this just games anyway and pure fantasy.

You need to watch the trailer on 4k, hell it's crazy how we have the same quality in game graphic with CGI or better than CGI movie. On top of that remember, even at 4k Youtube are bad at video compression. Wait for Gamersyde real video uncompressed or wait for the real games.

I tend to see different impression from both Playstation and Xbox when it comes to culture and how they deliver. People work on Playstation is like an Executive with ties and suit, while Xbox employee is like coboy and hip hop rapper. PS is more elegan while Xbox tend to be hippies.

@jdv95 It will depend on the demand and sales data, probably they will focus first on US and the Europe /Uk , last will probably Japan, Asia and Australia.

@Hengist No, The engineer who design PS4 pro it self already said that (The Japanese one not Cerny). He said PS4 pro was an experiment but it succeed and they might do it again. You can search on Push Square about the interview.

@Hengist It was already hinted, that the premium model work very well. And they will likely will be doing the same thing ( i don't know about Xbox) but Sony likely will follow the same model by releasing PS5 pro in 3 to 4 years from now and then PS6 in 3 to 4 years after that.

Lol even if Xbox has 100 teraflop i will still buy PS5 first. Being said that , having a both very close in power even closer than PS4 to Xbox One, make it even easier choices to stick with PS ecosystem.

As much as i want them to shows PS5 and clear the misunderstanding of the bad rumor surrounding PS5 spec. I rather see them doing separate press conference on February and blow press and gamers with next gen games and detail explanation on new hardware spec.

Omedeto , Congratulation . I was a with Sega and Sony Playstation hater until Sony defeat Sega and me with their games and great hardware. Now i am super Hardcore Playstation fanboy. Like old wise man said; "Yesterday's enemy are today allied and best friend"

This time around next year i will bite my finger and jealousy waiting for a year for the price to be stable, because in my country a new consoles will have a crazy prices because of limited supply and high demand. Not include luxury tax.

LOL. Guess what , if you want a slow SSD that available on the market they could give you that, but you will complain again. What are they trying to do is to standardize the SSD to match up their requirement. Next gen is all about super fast SSD without loading time. It will be impossible for game developer to build games if there is no standard SSD . Developer will just make games for slower SSD (they will assume some gamer will use slow SSD) that will defeat the purpose of next gen improvement that we wanted. And also it's not guarantee that this cartridge will be expensive.

If you want a faster SSD than the one available on PC , you will need a special costume proprietary SSD made by SONY. IT will not be cheap, but i bet it will not be expensive either like Vita was. Also PS5 will probably already has internal memory unlike Vita , and remember PS5 is their main product that they will not trying to make it bad. They already promise to make PS4 gamer buy PS5 fastly as possible.
